ARC Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for this ARC.

I loved the first book of this series and this one does not disappoint. Amazing addition to this collection of interconnected standalone books.

All the characters we got to met in the previous book are present, but if you started with this book you'd have no problem jumping right in.

This delivers on that high tension banter filled romance that made me want to scream just kiss already! And oh boy do they 😉. Well there are a few tropes in here that I don't normally enjoy, they are well done.

This was good, but I definitely enjoyed nine month contract more. I ate up all the little tid bits we got about Stevie, Wyatt, and Trista. Calder was obnoxious, but he did grow on me towards the end. The humor and current pop culture was one of my favorite things about the book.

I’ll continue to read any more mountain matchmakers!

Thank you, Harlequin Trade Publishing and Amy Daws, for the ARC and the opportunity to provide an honest review!

Calder and Dakota have known each other for seven years. He’s never had to truly worry about her until she’s divorced and stuck with her on trip in paradise. They are constantly fighting but that tends to be a sign of more than hate. Sometimes it’s a sign of mutual attraction too.

You can find: Enemies to Lovers, Small Town Romance, Vacation Romances, Quirky Animals, and Meddling Family.

Ultimately, this was not for me. Plot is very important for me and this wasn’t very plot driven. However, there will be some readers looking for a good time read. This might be it for you.

Thanks to Canary Street Press and HTP for my advanced copy of Seven Year Itch.

This is book two in the Mountain Man Matchmaker series. These books are a little steamier and I liked seeing Calder and Dakota together. Their enemies-to-lovers banter was so fun. This was a quick book and I enjoyed reading it. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Seven Year Itch takes a different direction from Nine Month Contract, but I still loved it all the same. My favorite mountain men are back along with their diabolical niece who is determined to see her uncles married. This book has everything I love about a romantic comedy, such as enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity, and found family. The banter between Dakota and Calder was very entertaining but I loved watching Calder's character grow as he helped Dakota find herself again and eventually learn to fall in love. I am excited for the final book in the series and to see what sinister plans Everly has in store for her uncle, Luke.

Audiobook Lovers:
I would highly recommend listening to the audiobook for Seven Year Itch. First off, the male narrator is Teddy Hamilton. Do I need to say more?! The dual narration makes this such a fun story to listen to. Just make sure the windows are up if you're listening to this book in your car. 🫢

Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the opportunity to review Seven Year Itch. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a big change from the first book, but man did I love it. I love book that are so different than the previous ones in the series and this hit! You definitely still had things that were the same: romance, comedy, spice, banter.... but then you added other things like a sex club and him helping her find herself again and I just fell in love.

Okay you got a cute cat daddy, Calder, and a Fierce Lady, Dakota. I loved how there were so many different mini tropes all in here, but they didn't overpower a previous one. You had a take on enemies to lovers, forced proximity, small town romance, sex exploration to name a few. I had such a good time reading this book and will defiantly have to get a trophy of this later.

One of my favorite Quote was: "If you're intent on a label, you can call us enemies with benefits."

Thank you NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Another great title from Amy Daws. This mountain men series is really making me want to find a mountain man of my own. I cannot wait for the 3rd book in this series to come out! This one was good enough to order a shelf trophy!

Amy Daws does it again with an amazing book! I always look forward to her stories, knowing I will have a plot with some meat as well as humor and romance. Enemies to lovers, I was taken immediately with this small town romance. Dakota and Calder see each other for the first time in seven years at a wedding. This does not limit the feelings they had back then, and the anger is still seething out. But close proximity and familiarity leads to friends with benefits during the festivities. But is that enough to push them over the edge? Spicy times, laugh out loud scenes and beautiful scenery all lead to a happily ever after I took in and loved. This is an amazing book, and made me realize just how much I missed Daws's writing. So glad she is back and can't wait for more!

Seven Year Itch by Amy Daws is a funny, flirty, and feel-good romantic comedy that hits all the right notes when it comes to heart and humor. From the very first page, the light-hearted tone and witty banter made it an entertaining read that’s easy to breeze through.

The heart of the story lies in Dakota—recently divorced and navigating life after marriage with a lot of uncertainty and self-doubt. Watching her reclaim her confidence and independence was both endearing and empowering. She's a relatable character, easy to root for, and her emotional growth felt natural. By the end, you can’t help but cheer her on as she finds her voice again.

Calder, the love interest, is refreshingly steady. He brings unwavering support, patience, and genuine care that makes their chemistry even more satisfying. While the story leans on rom-com tropes, Calder’s constant belief in Dakota’s worth adds depth and warmth to their relationship beyond the laughs and flirtation.

The book isn't without its lighter flaws—some plot beats feel predictable and a little rushed at times—but the humor and heart more than make up for it. It’s a story about rediscovering yourself, embracing change, and letting the right kind of love help you grow—not fix you.

Overall, Seven Year Itch is a delightful pick for anyone looking for a light, engaging rom-com with lovable characters and a message of empowerment wrapped in charm and sass.

Thank you NetGalley for the advanced digital copy - all thoughts and opinions are my own!

Calder and Dakota have a sweet twist on Enemies to Lovers. They have a deep history, and then thanks to a meddling niece, stir in forced proximity, just one bed, and a one night stand that leads to frenemies with benefits. Along the lives they both let they're guard down and find that they have always wanted.

I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought! I believe there is a first book in this series, but you can read this as a standalone book.

Calder is a true mountain man. He’s tall, bearded, and tattooed. He lives in an isolated city with his brothers and is content by himself. But when his brother gets married in Mexico, he has to spend time with Dakota. He hasn’t seen her in years since there was an incident while she was redoing her home. From there, he tries to get her out of her post divorce slump.

It’s a true enemies to lovers plot, filled with a lot of funny moments and a lot of spice. I enjoyed the wiring but it was a little long for me. I think it could have been like 100 pages shorter! And if you don’t like spice, this is not for you!

Unexpected banger. I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one just took first place for me. I liked the unconventional romance in this one. And the spice was also insane, so that helped. 10/10 will read book 3

Thank you NetGalley, Amy Daws, and the publishing team for this ARC.

The long awaited next book in the Mountain Men Matchmaker series is here! I loved book one, and couldn't wait for Calder's story. These mountain men have stolen my heart. <3

When playboy, cat-daddy, middle-Fletcher brother, Calder, needs a date for his brother's destination wedding, where else would he look other than an adults only *play* club?? What he didn't expect was to see his brother's wife's best friend who he just happens to hate at the club. To make matters worse, she ends up at the wedding....and guess what.... there's only. one. bed.

Can Calder help Dakota get over her hang-ups post-divorce without killing her?? Read to find out...

Love the family dynamics in these books. I wish there was even more.
Bring on book 3 and Luke's story!

4/5 stars

Cute and fun, and great vibes! Small town, enemies to lovers, forced proximity, hot cat dad. This book had lots of cute moments and fun tropes, but some great serious moments as well and I look forward to more in the series.

I love the Mountain Men Matchmaker series and all the characters involved. I was a huge fan of Nine Month Contract and was so excited to read Seven Year Itch and let me tell you, it did not disappoint!!! It was steamy, laugh out loud funny and such a good hate to lovers story!!! I became so engrossed with the story and the growth of these characters I did not want it to end. Oh and I love how we still.get to see our favorites from past books and see how they are doing!!!! I can't wait for Book 3!!!!

This one follows Calder, and is the second book in the Mountain Men Matchmaker Series. It starts off with adult themes and is steamy. It’s a driving force in the relationship between Calder and Dakota. They have hate to love vibes, but thanks to a meddling niece (go read my FAVORITE book - Last on the List to see her as a little girl) are stuck in some delicious forced proximity. 😏 As all of Amy’s reads, this one is fun, steamy, and has a ton of laugh out loud moments. I love a good series where past couples play a role in current books, and I can’t wait to see more from this series!

After reading and loving Nine Month Contract I could not contain my excitement for more of these Fletcher brothers! This second installment became one of my anticipated reads of 2025 for sure. I dived right back into the Mountain Men Matchmaker world. I loved this story so much!

Dakota and Calder's journey drew me right in! She runs a T-Shirt shop and He works with his brothers. For the past seven years Calder and Dakota couldn't stand each other. Both are going to Wyatt and Trista's wedding in Mexico. Little did Calder and Dakota know that they'd be sharing a room and how it'd shake things up for both of them. As they get back home will they go back to being enemies? or could this lead to the realest thing of all for both of their hearts?

After book one I couldn't wait to get into Calder and Dakota's story. These two pulled me right back into this world. I've been so curious about Dakota and Calder's history and why they didn't get along. From being enemies, having to share a room, the past, all things Fletcher family, personal stuff, and the feelings burning bright between them, I couldn't wait to see how it'd all unfold!

Dakota and Calder got under each other's skin in so many ways. I enjoyed getting to see them dig deeper and truly see / get each other. It was such a treat to see them navigate being enemies to the feelings they ignited within each other. The chemistry between Calder and Dakota was heat filled and so real! These two lit up my kindle for sure! I related to Dakota and Calder throughout reading. These two brought all kinds of feels from beginning to end!

Being back on Fletcher Mountain with these brothers brought such joy to this heart of mine! I thoroughly enjoyed what all of the other characters brought to the story. Also, I must mention how much I adored Milkshake! 🐈

The Fletcher crew have my heart forever and always!

With Seven Year Itch, Ms.Daws has created such a fantastic enemies to lovers romance that's stays with you! It was filled with angsty goodness, blushworthy steam, relatability, priceless family moments, Milkshake the cat, realness that gets to you, and so many emotions under the Fletcher Mountain sun! Reuniting with the Fletcher family was like being wrapped up in the best kind of hug which my heart and I so needed. I absolutely love them! If you haven't picked up the Mountain Men Matchmaker books yet, now is the perfect time to do so. I can't wait to dive back into the Mountain Men Matchmaker world with Luke's book, Honeymoon Phase! 💗🐈⛰
