First of all, the drawings are super cute and eye-catching. Secondly, I love that kids can learn from this—it teaches a great lesson.

Netgalley ARC - This is adorable and the art is very cute if a little simplistic! I like the word flow and the way ghost plays with our expectations

This is a fabulous Halloween picture book about a sweet, stereotype-shattering ghost, and it's perfect for the really little ones and their learning-to-read siblings too! I can't wait to feature this in the Fall!!

This is a cute book for toddlers and preschoolers about Halloween and what animals say which sounds. My children enjoyed this.

Thank you so much for the ARC. My toddler enjoyed the pictures and the different animals sounds I made. As he gets older, he will better understand the concept behind the book, how being different is ok. What a great story and we love Halloween don’t made it that much better.

Additional note
I'm an adult, I don't have any children. I do babysit regularly and want to have some of my own in the (near) future.
Would I suggest this book? Ye
Would I buy it for myself if I had kids? Yes
Why? In my opinion this book teaches diversity in a small way, and teachers children that everyone is allowed to be (and sound) different from eachother.
I would love to have the chance to read the physical version to either my own child or one of the children I babysit in the near future.

As a toddler mom sick of rhyming 24/7, this was a breath of crisp fall air. Hehe.
Really though, this is so so cute and actually kept me on my toes—so I'm confident it would crack my little guy right up. Whatever muscle these silly kinds of books work just might be my favorite!
I will definitely be seeking this one out for our fam's bookshelf at home. The perf fall addition if you're someone like me who tries to swap out frequent fliers with seasonal books when I can.
(Thank you bunches to Lauren Kukla, North Star Editions, Jolly Fish Press & NetGalley for the DRC in exchange for my honest review!)

In a house that loves all things Halloween and cats, this was a big hit! I love the message-it’s okay to be different and it’s okay to try new things. The story is super cute and my 5 year old read it aloud to his 8 year old sister so it was meaningful.
The illustrations are perfect and adorable. The book also allows for predictions which helps with reading comprehension.
Thank you NetGalley, North Start Editions, Flux and Lauren Kukla for the ARC. All opinions are my own.

There are plenty of books about farm animals that make the wrong sound, but this book of Halloween sounds is the first of it's kind. All of the other Halloween characters set up ghost for their line of boo, but ghost instead says meow, ribbit or moo (so close!). Then ghost encourages everyone to branch a little with hilarious results. This type of book works so well in storytimes. Children can make the sounds with the characters and feel much smarter than the ghost when they get the line right. Get ready for a raucously spooky time!

I received an advanced copy of Ghost says Meow. This is such a a cute book for kids, it has a great message of how much fun trying something new can be and I really liked the vocabulary used. I'm excited for this book to be released I will be gifting it to several of my friends with young children!

This was pretty cute, at least from the words. I liked the rhyme scheme a lot. I was never able to see any pictures because they wouldn't load anywhere.

This was an adorable Halloween read. It’s filled with classic Halloween icons and an adorable ghost that’s determined to be true to herself while trying new things. The shorter rhyming phrases were a big hit in capturing my youngest’s attention. The illustrations are also adorable and clearly show what’s happening in the story. This book was a big hit for us.
