I probably should state that I've been a big fan of Jack Canfield's since The Success Principles first came out twenty years ago (I didn't realize it had been that long!)--I've gone to one of his trainings, I listen to his podcast, I have a few of his products, and I revisit The Success Principles every once awhile.
So I was excited to see a new an updated version. The updated book has the same inspiring stories, positive encouragement to go for your dreams, and--most importantly for me--actionable things to do, but this time with a few more modern suggestions and ideas which are certainly helpful and appreciated. It certainly can be a cheesy and "out there" sometimes, but I choose the steps that work for me and do what I can to find my version of success.
It's a great book for anyone who needs a little kick in the pants to go after their goals...or maybe need help figuring out what their goals are.
I will add, though, that although I'm a big audiobook person and it was helpful to have some of these reminders coming straight to my ears while I was busy doing other things, I found myself too easily distracted sometimes and I think I missed out on some of the book's benefits (it's much harder to go write something down/answer a question), so I actually purchased the "real" book so I could take proper notes and truly ingest some of the insights.

I am not sure if I have read Canfield's previous books, but his principles are familiar to me. It is based on the Law of Attraction, and he also include a lot of other well-known theories from 80/20 principle, the Four Agreements, Tony Robbins, Kiyosaki, Brian Tracy, and many others. I like that he combines idea of Law of Attraction with working hard to achieve your goals, whatever it may be. The audiobook is 20 hours long, and there are a lot of bases to cover. Even if you aren't not a big fan of the Law of Attraction, I am sure you can agree with some principles mentioned. I sort of want to have a physical copy to flip through it from time to time to remind myself some principles that resonated with me.
Personally, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars because there are quite bit of self-promotions and success stories. I understand some are necessary, but it went on so long to the point that it sounded boastful. I also would prefer the book to be 10 hours or less.
The audiobook was narrated by the author (thank goodness not AI-voiced) and easy to listen to.

The ideas in this book are just great, anyone can understand them easily. This book gather all the concepts you need to know about success, if you have read others books in the same style you’ll find same ideas in Jack’s book but you’ll also discover others that are really interesting and worth reviewing. Jack by trade is more of a collector than an original thinker and a lot of this book covers familiar ground, especially if you've already read the likes of Tony Robbins, Brian Tracy, etc. However I think this is an ideal book for someone who doesn't have time or capacity to read the whole survey of self-help literature there. This book is big but covers a lot of ground. Amongst the ideas is practical exercises to get the use of the ideas into practice and start your journey. Thanks to Netgally, author and publisher.
