This was incredible! With an MMC that is tooo die for, this Romantasy is sure to be a hit. The content is a bit dark, the plot is strong, and the romance is top notch. The world building was amazzzinggly on point, and is perfect for readers just starting their trip into fantasy or those whose been reading it for years. The plot was super twisty but super enjoyable.  Highly recommend! Thank you for the E-ARC :)

I don’t even know where to begin to talk about how great this book was. If you are a fan of crescent city series and vampires then you will absolutely love this book. This is told from dual POV which I love, it is third person as well.

The first chapter pulled me in immediately. The book opens up with Rae and she is doing everything in her power to keep from her world from falling apart and going to war with one another. In this world there are humans, witches, fae, and vampires. You learn that Rae completely despises vampires with every part of her being but ultimately decides to come into an agreement with a vampire lord, Aiden.

Aiden is everything she hates and yet seemly can’t stay away from him. The moment Aiden came into the view I was OBSESSED with him. Tall? Yes. Moody? Yes, yes. Dark? YES. Possessive? HELL YES. He is the epitome of morality gray. I’m pretty sure this man has “Morally gray” tattooed on his ass. Their banter is too tier and this book is the slowest of burns, frustratingly so.

The plot pulled me in but these two characters kept me going. There are so many twists, turns and lies in this book that you have no idea what is going on until the very end and at that point everything just blows up in your face and you are left to pick up the pieces and continue on with life like your world was not just shattered 5 seconds ago.

Thank you NetGalley and Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for absolutely shattering my brain and heart.

One thing that I would love to see for the next book is how to pronounce some of the names and places in the book. A lot of books that have this make it easier to know how each name and place is pronounced correctly!

🌶️🌶️/5

This book is a BANGER! Slam dunk, 10/5 stars, no notes, need the next book immediately.

Our FMC Rae is a super competent badass who works as a silversmith. She’s headstrong, foul-mouthed, and can scheme with the best of them, but the girl’s got some ✨secrets ✨

A few more refreshing tidbits about our FMC - She’s also CURVY (!!) and she uses magic to change her hair color!! (And she usually picks fun colors!)

Our MMC Aidan is brooding and stoic 🧛 Vampire Lord who is rich, has a loyal vampire crew, and who loves his liquor and joints 💨 . I really loved all the side characters that Aidan brought to the table.

The banter is great, tension is 👌🏼, and there’s lots of fast paced action scenes to carry us through the book.

This is an enemies to lovers story, but I was thrilled that they were never mean to each other. I’m personally more of a sucker for a friends to lovers vibe, so I appreciate when enemies to lovers isn’t just an excuse for there to be bullying or emotional mind games.

Even the spice was refreshing. It feels like many fantasy romance books follow a formulaic process with 🌶️ scenes. There was so much tension and the steamy scenes were not a let down. Sometimes once MCs get it on in a book, the book just becomes a bunch of nonstop steamy scenes, so I appreciated that this was just the right amount of spice.

If you like fast paced fantasy romances with a marriage of convenience, morally grey MCs, adorable animal companions, and enemies to lovers, you will eat this up.

But don’t get too swept up in the trope tags for this one— Never Run From An Immortal is so much more than just the sum of all its tropes.

Big thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an advance ebook in exchange for my honest review. I will definitely be buying this one!!

ARC Read - INCREDIBLE

"No one touches what's mine."

Rae, the strong willed FMC makes a bargain with Aiden - the intriguing Vampire MMC - which results in them being joined in a marriage of convenience.
Both of them are fighting to stop a war, but are they both on the same side?

This book was AMAZING. I was totally absorbed from the first chapter.
The characters were very well developed - Rae was strong willed, knew what she wanted and was morally grey herself. Aiden was the perfect measure of grumpy, possessive and caring... and a Vampire, so can never go wrong!
The side characters are great too, I really cared for them - especially the two animal ones!

The plot is a dual POV, where I enjoyed both narrators - each had their own voice in the book and I really enjoyed hearing their own perspectives.
The slow burn was BURNING and the spice was perfect!
The world building is great too - you know enough about the world, without it being force fed to you, and without it being too overwhelming.

The ending had me on the edge of my seat. The emotional damage...
I already cannot wait for the next one - please tell me it'll be out soon?!?!

This book had me hooked from the 1st page. I am in love with the FMC in this book, she is whitty and funny and a badass, it’s very refreshing to read a fantasy book where the FMC isn’t described as small teenager but an actual adult women that can hold her own.
I am a huge fan of enemies to lovers and this book did not disappoint, the development between the two main characters was perfectly done you could really feel them start to like each other.
The pacing in this book is perfectly done not too slow., right amount of world building and then the ending was very fast paced but in the best way possible.

The conflicts where well thought out and well done, I think the plot was very unique and I like how it’s an urban fantasy but didn’t feel forced or over complicated

All round a very enjoyable experience and I cannot wait to read the next one and buy a copy for my book shelf

Rae & Aidan
Wow, what an story, and need book 2 to get more 🙌🏻☺️
Vampires, shifters, Fae, Witches, humans, all at war fighting for existence.
Testing, scheming, kidnappings, secrets, all will come out in end… well is all known in the end? We need book 2 for more information and what is gonna happen next..

It’s an intriguing and exciting storyline, characters are fun and I loved reading about them.

Definitely a 5 star 🌟 read for me.
Got an ARC through Netgalley

For fans of Book of Azreal, this new world is definitely one to get caught up in. The quick pacing leads to a dynamic read, but at times also causes confusion over details and character plots. I’m still wrapping my head around what some of the timelines are coming out of this book with both characters and side plots, but I’m invested enough to want to understand it.

I’m really keen to see where this series goes, and I’ve become attached to the characters. I think with a good chunk of the world building covered in this book, I’m excited to see what the author does with the extra space to deepen the story and character arcs.

Wow, Never Run From An Immortal by Victoria J Price, was a great book! This book has suspense, romance and some humor. Aiden and Rae were the perfect enemies to lover romance.
The book started with Rae wanting to get close to Aiden because of revenge and Aiden wanted to get close to Rae to find something that he lost long ago. But other things were at play here and they had to start working together to try to solve people going missing, which caused them to fall in love. However, like any stubborn strong willed heroine she won't admit it to herself that's she's in love. I can believe this book ends in such a cliffhanger! I can't wait for the next book to come out.
Overall this was a fantastic paranormal book that will leave you yearning for the next book in the series! Thank you, #netgalley, for allowing me to leave an honest review.

Wow that was a ride

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for my very first ARC 🥰

I was hooked from the very start

I love it when the FMC and MMC match each other energy. Rae and Aiden where perfect for each other

They both had banter, tension, sass and perfect amount of flirtation

The pace was chefs kiss…. And there was a good mix between plot and character

There was magic, warfare, darkness, fae, vampires and witches… everything for everyone

There were times where I was a bit confused about the world building and storyline… but then I was quickly brought back

The plot twist and cliffhangers has me BEGGING for the next book

Guys… this book… THIS BOOK… it simply had me in a choke hold the entire time I was reading it. I’m not entirely sure what Victoria put in this book but it’s FANTASTIC!!

Rae, the lovely FMC is a force to be reckoned with. She does not take a single ounce of BS and we are hear for it. She’s sassy and quick witted, her comments had me cackling on multiple occasions. But she is also fiercely loyal and incredibly smart- we love balance.

Aiden, the grumpy vampire lord, who is really a very burnt cinnamon roll and WE LOVE HIM. Seriously no notes- I loved how moody he was, and his POV was the perfect insight to his true feelings- even when he wouldn’t acknowledge them himself.

This book has everything I love, enemies to lovers, fake marriage, forced proximity, found family, grumpy MMC, incredible banter, seriously it has it all.

I promise you want to read this book and you can get in on an amazing kickstarter for Victoria’s first hardcover - I will be getting it bc it’s GORGEOUS!!

If you can’t tell by now I LOVED this book and I need everyone else to love it with. K thanks.

This was a fun urban fantasy romance with lots of magic, action and political intrigue mixed in. I loved the dual POV and the amount of action you get from page 1! The FMC was an independent, multi talented badass, which I love. 😍

Small critique...I did find the story a bit confusing to follow at times (I'd say till the halfway mark). There were so many side characters that I'd have to go back in the book and find to remind myself who and what they were (and who's side they were on! Lol) That definitely made it a bit harder to keep with the flow of the book. But this was such a small thing in the grand scheme.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story and the cliffhanger at the end 🙈. Looking forward to reading book 2!

Thank you to Net Galley and Victory Editing for the ARC! ❤️

I enjoyed this book, the world building was on point, and is perfect for readers just dipping their toes into fantasy or reading it for years. The plot twist, really twists, and the author has created a world using sensory and setting details that I was able to create a clear picture of in my head. Lastly, I liked how both of the main characters could be real grumpy. It's a change for me because I usually read sunshine x grumpy tropes but the grumpy x grumpy really worked for this book and the characters. I cannot wait for book two! Thank you to Netgalley, Victoria J. Price, and Victory Editing for this ARC.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the e-arc!

I was honestly super excited to have received an early copy of this book solely based on the description. Who doesn’t love vampires, witches, fae, and other things that go bump in the night? I enjoyed Rae and Aiden’s antics together and as the world building grew, I’m even more excited for the next book in the series. There’s mystery, forced alliances, fake relationships, action, and some spice within these pages. I cannot wait to see this book become a popular book box subscription or become a New York Times Bestseller.

Never Run From an Immortal
Stars: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
This was my first ARC from NetGalley and I freaking hope the sequel is being published soon because that ending had me feeling all the emotions! ❤️‍🩹

I loved Rae as the morally grey, kickass FMC! So sassy, independent and strong yet incredibly vulnerable and entangled in secrets. Her world is on the brink of war due to a power imbalance between supernaturals and humans, and she’s not afraid to make a deal with Aiden (broody, morally grey, Vampire Lord) in order to try and manipulate the outcome.

This was a fast paced enemies to lovers, urban romantasy with forced proximity and great banter. Personally I would not have complained if this book was longer. In the first half I would have loved more depth when it came to developing the FMC/MMC’s emotional relationship, fewer drug references and more detail surrounding key events. BUT the second half had me hanging on to every word and unable to put this book down! I can’t wait for the next installment

This book had everything I could want!

✔️ Enemies to lovers
✔️ Marriage of convenience
✔️ Morally grey MCs
✔️ Touch her and 💀
✔️ A FMC who NOT 18-22 years old
✔️ Vampires, fae, witches, humans and all with varying kind of magic
✔️ A touch of spice 🔥

I love the alternate urban world that is built. The politics give a dark mafia romance vibe but also have multiple monarchies (which I hope will be explored more in future books in the series).

4.5⭐️ but rounded up to 5⭐️ - although there were plenty of revelations at the end, some expected and some not, they felt a little crammed in and could have done with a few more chapters on them. Basically, I just wanted MORE! 😍
