Rose Fowler has worked at her family's cosmetics company ever since she could walk. Her grandmother Dahlia founded it, but now Rose wants more. Her father has just gotten engaged and the new fiancée is getting the promotion that should have been Rose's. She feels that she has given it all and needs a change, she needs to escape from under her family's name. The book starts at the Cannes festival as a documentary has been made about her Grandmother's journey into becoming a business empress. At the festival, her grandmother gave her a necklace to wear - Violet is a little jealous as it's a gorgeous family heirloom. Caden knew Lily Fowler from high school and figured she would be at the festival and be the one wearing the necklace as he has decided to steal but when he meets Rose, he feels a connection and the pair spend a night together without knowing each other's name. The next part of the book has Rose heading over to London to be with her sister Violet - UK and meets Caden once again and the pair get together and have a very steamy romance. What happens though when Rose learns the truth about Caden and then he disappears leaving her heartbroken? Will Rose get an HEA or was this a phase? Find out in this family romance saga Stealing Rose - Book #2 in the Fowler Sisters series by Monica Murphy.

DNF. I stopped reading at 20% perhaps reading book one would have been helpful. might give it a go if I attempt to read the first in the series.

Wow…the steam in this book!! Phew…I need a fan!! Right from the beginning this book had me hooked. Great writing style.

stealing Rose by Monica Murphy is a thrilling peak into the competitive, cut throat world of cosmetics. The story is intense, with lots of twists and turns I didn’t expect. And, I loved the characters. I don’t live in that world but I could visualize it. The characters made it believable.

I thought I could go into this without having read the first book but I ended up feeling like this would've been a more enjoyable read had I read the first book. I liked the idea of each book being about sisters and that they all had flower names but unfortunately this book did not leave a memorable impact on me and I soon forgot it.

This book made a leap out of my usual genres and I liked it.
I sometimes like to get out of a grove and give my mind a change of pace and thought that way I can review with a fresh start.
I picked a good one here, I didn't realise it was book two, but oh well, I loved it anyway.
I picked up that this is the story off Rose and Caden, Rose being the younger off the siblings.
Rose comes from a good family background with money, the other side of the spectrum is Caden, hes a thief.
They meet at a party that they are both attending, Caden is there to steal a necklace, except, Rose is wearing it.
Steamy, hot, sweet romance.
Loved it, and was so well written, I wasn't aware of this author so now I'll keep an eye out.
My thanks to Random House Publishing Group - Bantam Dell via Net Galley for my copy

Monica Murphy has given us one of her more hot reads in this story about Rose and Caden. This is the second installment in The Fowler sisters and about the youngest sister, who you would think had it easy and all laid out for her, but is quiet the opposite.
Rose works for Fleur cosmetics and gives them her all, working her butt off for them all the time. Rose never gets any appreciation or even a Thank you. When Rose is getting ready to attend a party that is for The Fowler's, she puts on one of the family necklaces and feels like a new person. The Poppy necklace is a piece that her family is know for.
Rose meets Caden at this party. Caden is a man that is know for his thieving abilities and is following in the footsteps of his father. Caden's dad was a big time thief that had committed suicide to avoid the punishments for being caught stealing. This left Caden to help his mom make ends meet and he decided to follow in his father's footsteps to help provide for his family now. Caden has gone to the Fowler party to steal the precious Poppy necklace that he has heard so much about. Caden is just not sure which sister will have it on this time.
Caden and Rose immediately hit it off and he knows that he is in trouble for getting the necklace. Caden leaves the party empty handed and vows to get the necklace later. What Caden does not expect though is to fall in love with Rose and have to decide what he is going to do about that and his lifestyle. The steam between these two will have you fanning yourself and longing for more from them. Monica Murphy sure knows hot to write a hot, steamy romance! Can't wait for more from her!
