4 stars and worth every last one of them, even if at times they hurt to give. It's difficult to know whether or not you want what Tiffany Reisz gives you or whether you'd rather not ever know it was possible. That's how The Virgin makes me feel.

I love that this series is a series of frame stories within a frame of the entire series. There's something comforting about picking up a read and knowing a little of what to expect and the thing I've appreciated about this series is that for a while now I've known where the journey ends. I've learned that it's not the SHOCKING! ending that I crave in this series; it's the journey to get to where I know I'm going that holds my attention.
Don't get me wrong, Nora and King and Soren all have surprises up their sleeves but that's just an added bonus to the storytelling that's happening in this series. In The Virgin, we learn what Nora was up to in the year she lived in her mother's convent and how she became a writer and we learn how Kingsley meets and falls madly in love with Juliette. So much to love about these stories told in a parallel time and universe--all being told to us through the lens of sharing a bedtime story on the cusp of very special wedding.
I'm racing through these novels. I'm helpless against these characters and their long and storied pasts and I know I'm going to be incredibly sad to get to the last book but I'm planning on enjoying the journey to get there.

Tiffany Reisz never ceases to amaze me. Excellent addition to a fantastic series. Nora, Sören, Kingsley - I adore them all and will never get my fill from this unholy tinity

Throughout the series, I always wondered what would it take for Nora to safeword and we finally find that out in this 7th installment of The Original Sinners Series. Was the reason why Nora utters “Jabberwocky” expected? Absolutely not! This is what I love about this series.
The way Tiffany Reisz continues to surprise us with all the interesting details about this complicated relationship. My surprise doesn’t end there either. We are taken on this inconceivable story where Soren is left all alone, Nora ends up in a convent and Kingsley finds the love of his life changer. ANNNND all of it ends with a wedding.
To say that there is a lot going on in this book is certainly an understatement. It all seems overwhelming if you think about it but the skill and precision of Tiffany Reisz’s seamless writing prevent you from feeling that way. I couldn’t even tell you what part of it I loved the most.
It does send out one powerful message…”Amor vincit omnia” – where Love Conquers All. No matter what comes their way, as long as these three exists they can get through it together.

4.5 stars
Yet another brilliantly written installment in the series. I love that we are getting to see insights into their past and what made them who we know from the original books. Need the next book....now :D
