I don't read any books from the Blessings series. I enjoyed learning about Henry Adams' family history. Calling all blessings, the book is about forgiveness, respect, and humility. I saw Tamar July struggle with her past, and once she did, she had a difficult time accepting Mal's half-brother. She overcame her past with encouragement from friends and family who love her dearly. Also, another favorite resident was Devon July because young boys go through growing pains in their lives. Devon's parents were supporters of him, which made a great difference in his life. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

This weekend I finished reading Beverly Jenkins' novel, CALLING ALL BLESSINGS, the latest in her Blessings series as an ARC on NetGalley. It was great to catch up with the residents of Henry Adams, the fictional town. Without giving any spoilers, CAB focuses on Devon, one of the teens and also on Tamar, the town matriarch. Both are going through emotional situations involving other members of the town.
As always, Ms. Jenkins allows the reader to see into the personal lives of her characters in touching ways. Although I enjoyed this story, I didn't find it as engaging as some of the others because it didn't really involve any of the couples except Bernadine and Mal.

Returning to Henry Adams felt like coming home. I was so excited to reconnect with the town and its beloved residents, and this installment did not disappoint. Watching Devon’s continued growth was a highlight—his struggle with identity was deeply moving, and I loved how Tamar gently but powerfully helped him along his journey. Speaking of Tamar, seeing her vulnerable side was both heartbreaking and beautiful. Her emotional reckoning with the past gave the story such depth and heart.

Ellis, the newest addition to town, brings an intriguing energy, and I can't wait to see how he settles in. And of course, Riley was up to his usual antics—no Henry Adams story would be complete without his chaos! This book had everything: laughter, joy, healing, and a few tearful moments too. Fingers crossed we get to spend more time with the unforgettable residents of Henry Adams soon.

Thanks Netgalley and Avon and Harper Voyager | Avon for the ARC and opportunity to provide an honest review.

I was disappointed to learn that Calling All Blessings would be the final book in the Blessings series. I love this series so much. In preparation for this final installment, I re-read the series and loved it as much as I did the first time.

Calling All Blessings focuses on town matriarch Tamar July and her grandson Devon July as they work thier way through the growing pains of life. As with each book in the series, Calling All Blessings is filled with joy, laughter and is heartwarming read. Though the final in the series, Calling All Blessings does not feel like the end for Henry Adams residents, it feels like Mrs. Beverly Jenkins could pick up the series sometime in the near future.

This was my first Beverly Jenkins novel and I truly enjoyed. Although it is 12th in the series, I didn’t realize it until I was finished. As such, it was great as a stand alone novel as well. I’m sure that I would’ve got more character history had I read the first 11 installments, but I didn’t feel like I missed anything!

This book was cheerful yet sometimes tense read that was infused with lots of humor. I adore the writing style of the author. It was very easy to read and follow and held my attention throughout the book. The characters felt so real to me and I was rooting for them flaws and all. I also enjoyed the theme of the book. It was full of hope, inspiration, and most importantly, forgiveness.

Thank you NetGalley, Avon Books and Harper Voyager for the e-ARC. I would certainly recommend this book for a quick and easy read!

Calling All Blessings is yet another beautiful testament to Beverly Jenkins’ gift for weaving heartfelt, real, and unforgettable stories. From the very first page, I felt like I was sitting on the porch with old friends — laughing, crying, and cheering them on through every twist and turn.

The characters are so genuine and full of life that they practically leap off the page. Beverly Jenkins writes them with so much warmth and honesty that you can’t help but root for them. There’s family, love, community, and a reminder that blessings really do come when you least expect them.

This book filled my heart and left me smiling long after I turned the last page. If you’re looking for a story that feels like a comforting hug mixed with hope and joy, Calling All Blessings is it. Beverly Jenkins never misses — and this book is another blessing in itself.

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advanced copy. As always, Mrs. Jenkins did not miss with the 12th book in The Blessings series. She weaves in multiple elements that make this a fantastic read, love, forgiveness, family, new beginnings, friendship as well as a little comedy and tension. While there are many characters in this book, I really enjoyed seeing the character growth of Devon. He has been a pain in the whole series but finally readers were shown his growth and maturity through navigating his accountability in ruining friendships with his crew. The town matriarch, who always has a major role in this series, took a different journey in this story with coming to terms with her past and how it has impacted her relationship with her only child. Her redemption arc was a meaningful addition to her story that showed humility and gave her character more depth. Every characters story had closure from what may have been left open ended in previous books and concluded on a positive note.

As someone who enjoys getting lost in a book series, I often recommend this series to people. If you are looking for a wholesome book series that highlights the love of family, new beginnings, friendship and love then this is the book for you.

Loved reading the inspirational and amazing story. Tamar is having a hard time forgiving Joel for what he did over sixty years ago, Bernadine & Mal relationship, Mal wanting to get to know his half-brother against his mom's wishes, and Devon hurting Zoey's feelings and has to make amends. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of captivating characters, and another engaging story in the Blessings series by the awesome author, Beverly Jenkins.

This is such a heartwarming book. I loved watching the growth of Devon throughout the book. There are little messages about humility, forgiveness, respect and many more things all through the book. It’s a thought provoking read. After reading the book my heart felt lighter and was left with a good feeling. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced free copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

I could say this one line and it’d tell you everything you need to know about this book and characters :
“I finished in less than 24 hours”.

Every avid book reader talks about the joy experienced when you “live” another life in a book. Mrs. Jenkins had the gift that makes this possible…for one day, I left small town Georgia and jumped head first into the plains of Kansas. Pulled in from page one and always eager to see “what now” with the characters, the story line did not disappoint - there’s all the usual highs, lows, “wth?!” moments. As always Bernadine, Lil and the gang are growing with grace and giving us something to think about. The spinsters perspective was an cute and unexpected touch, and I’m so impressed by Devon, and anxiously awaiting Amari, Brain and Leah going off to college (crazy, that I feel like I’ve watched them grow with my own child, who’s embarking on the same journey soon). 12 books in, Jenkins decided to stop giving blatant backstory but shares internal thoughts enough to still jog a memory or make an unfamiliar reader intrigued.

In true “Blessings” fashion, she’s left soooo much room for the series to continued, that I’m intrigued where she’ll go next. Five completely deserving stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I did not request or wish for this book. It just popped up as wish granted. I've never clicked on or even heard of this book before. I especially would not request a book that is number 12 in a series I've never heard of. I contacted support and they say I wished for it yesterday and it was granted immediately, which is not true.

Beverly Jenkins once again brings so much warmth, humor, and wisdom to life in Henry Adams that it feels like stepping into the arms of family. The writing wraps you up like a quilt stitched with love, spirit, and hard-earned joy. Every page reminds you that healing is possible and that community and chosen family can make all the difference. Beverly Jenkins has such a gift for crafting characters who stay with you long after the last page and this book is a gorgeous, heartfelt addition to a truly special series.

I received a complimentary copy of this book and the opinions expressed are my own! Another winner from Danielle Steel! The entire blessings series is phenomenal! Reading these books make you feel like you are a resident of Henry Adam's. The characters are so lifelike and real, that you feel what they feel. I hate to see the series come to an end! Goodbye Henry Adam's! I hope Ms. Steel comes up with a way to keep the series going and Henry Adam's alive!
