So. Stinkin. Cute!!! I am a sucker for a cute romance, and this was it! You have romance, and there’s a bakery and their bakers?! And there’s cinnamon rolls?! Count me in!

My First Impressions: It was cute and engaging.

The FMC seems maybe a LITTLE bit too mad for something that happened in highschool. Like “everything is about me” type vibe. But I still enjoyed it! Pretty standard contemporary romance plot. She’s a baker, he’s a lawyer, and she just so happens to be being sued by her ex.

I was not aware going in to this book, but this is a kissing only story and in the acknowledgement the author thanks the heavenly Father 🙃. To each their own, but I was clearly not the target audience.

It was a cute story and the writing was good. Not a lot of banter or tension and the lack of spice or even closed door scenes makes it a no for my tastes. But it was cute (if a little predictable).

If sweet romance is your game, you'd like this one. For me, it's a:

⭐⭐⭐

"Cooper Bailey is a Cinnamon Roll" by Jen Atkinson was a delightful easy read. I loved it from start to finish. Cooper and Leah were swoon worthy. Their banter was hilarious! This book is part of the "Another Bailey Brother" series which I did not know going into it. This can be read as a standalone without any issue. This book is perfect for those who prefer closed-door romance books with plenty of heart.
Thank you to NetGallery and Victory Editing for an advanced copy of this ebook in exchange for my honest review.

Boy, do I love men written by women! Cooper was indeed the ultimate cinnamon roll, the perfect guy. He wasn’t afraid to own up to his mistakes and grovel when necessary.

Leah, on the other hand, was a bit stuck in the past, shaped by events that left their mark on her. But I really enjoyed her character growth as she learned to let go.

I also loved how both of their families were so loving and supportive. And Cooper’s niece? An absolute scene-stealer! Her mischievous nature and close bond with Cooper made her such a delightful side character.

This was such an adorable, fluffy romance. If you love fun and sweet stories, this book is for you!

Thank you to Jen Atkinson & Victory Editing for the ARC, this is my honest review.

Oh wow! This book was a warm hug that I desperately needed. I finished it in one setting!
It's been a while since I've read a closed door romance, but the simplicity of it was wonderful. It was nice to read a book that was brimming with kind and loving characters and who genuinely love and support one another.
Leah Bradford is a baker and has just opened her own Cinnamon Rolls shop in her home town. Cooper Bailey was the towns golden boy, now a lawyer who has moved back home to work at a small law firm. He has a secret that's weighing on him.
The two of them have professional troubles that they could help each other out with. Considering their rocky high school past, can they mend their friendship which could potentially be so much more?
Also, Cooper Bailey is totally a Cinnamon Roll.

Sweet story with nice characters. It is a hopeful version of what happens when you encounter your (perceived) high school tormenter, and since it is a romance, there is a definite happy-ever-after. It was a fun, light read, but not especially memorable for books in this genre.

This is the 4th book in the Another Bailey Brother series. It is a kisses only contemporary romcom.

I've seen the Bailey books so often and have wanted to read them, but this was my first one of the series! I am so glad that I have finally found out what all of the talk on Instagram has been about with regard to this series. I am sure that if you'd been reading the previous books, you would certainly have enjoyed seeing the family show up in this one. I haven't read them, and I was certainly able to enjoy this book on its own merits. But I now have a strong desire to go back and read the others.

Cooper lives up to the title of cinnamon roll. I just adored him. And Leah was very likable as well. I enjoyed all aspects of the story, especially the humor that the side characters contribute.

Thanks to the author and Netgalley for the complimentary digital copy. I am happily and voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This was a sweet and fluffy romance book and the MMC is the best part of it. Unfortunately I strongly disliked the FMC. She was so mean to Cooper when they reconnected and I don't think her reasoning really justified it. She's in her late 20s, holding onto a grudge from high school 🫠. Cooper was so kind to her despite how rude she was in return and honestly, I don't think I would have stuck around if someone treated me that way. But he was a determined man on a mission 🫡. The title "Cooper Bailey is a Cinnamon Roll" is extremely accurate because Cooper Bailey was the sweetest man ever 🥹

I giggled the whole was through this book because the banter was truly top notch. The romance was so sweet and I fell in love with the relationship between Cooper and Leah. It is a clean romance for those readers looking for that type.

I absolutely loved the title of this book. Cooper Bailey is definitely a cinnamon roll. Leah held a grudge against Cooper for years, but as she got to know him she realized he is nothing like she originally thought. I really enjoyed both of the main characters careers. I was so invested in the legal case and now I am craving a cinnamon roll. It was also refreshing to see Leah stand up for herself and never give up on her dreams. I do wish the author didn't go into as much detail as she did about the gusset and peeing, that chapter was werid to me. Overall I enjoyed another Bailey brother getting his happily ever after, and cannot wait to read Alice's story!

Coming off a serious romantasy phase, I wasn’t totally convinced this would be my next favourite read… but OMG, I was SO wrong. From the moment I started, I was hooked. This book had me sitting on the couch, giggling and grinning like a fool—I could NOT put this book down. I usually take about a week to finish a book if I’m really into it, but this one? Less than 24 hours (and I haven’t been able to do that in the last 3 years!)

Cooper and Leah were everything. Their banter? Ahhhh. Their “friendship”? Adorable. Their chemistry? Off the charts. I fell in love with every single character, and the second I flipped the last page, I *needed* more. Here comes a binge read of all the Bailey brother romances.

This was my first Jen Atkinson book, and now she’s officially on my must-read list. If you love rom-coms with swoon-worthy romance, laugh-out-loud moments, and all the heartwarming feels—you need this book in your life.

This book was my first from the author and i really enjoyed it! This was such a fun story, with the characters so sweet and funny. I will definitely be picking up the others in the series.

If you want a cute romance this is the one for you! Cooper and Leah have the perfect chemistry and banter which is sure to give you a little chuckle as you fall in love with their relationship. Side characters such as Alice the fiery 10 year old who provided many comical moments made this book even better. Please write a book for her btw. And cricket whose protectiveness and love for the different rolls made me laugh each time. Overall it was a great read and I couldn’t put it down.

I had the best time reading Cooper Bailey is a Cinnamon Roll!

Cooper is Leah's high school nemesis, so imagine her surprise when she runs into him on a blind date. He certainly wasn't expecting to come face to face with the woman he unknowingly hurt in high school, so their run in was a pleasant surprise. A surprise that he was determined to repeat again and again. I loved how their relationship organically grew after he made amends for the past, and she let her walls down. Cooper and Leah were perfect together.

Cooper is one determined man and his many visits to Leah's shop, Sweet Swirls proved he was in it to win her To say he is a cinnamon roll is an understatement. I swooned as much as I laughed, and absolutely fell in love with Cooper (way before Leah did).

This was my first read by Jen Atkinson, but will definitely not be my last I must get to know the rest of the Bailey Brothers!

Thank you to NetGalley and Jen Atkinson for the eARC. I absolutely loved this book and look forward to reading more from this author.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC! I really wanted to give this book a 4.5 or a 5 but it’s a 4 for me at most. It’s a really good read, I finished it an about 2 days - I could have finished it in a day, but you know, work ugh. It’s a clean romance, chick lit and great storyline. But I think what’s missing is that more up close and personal feel with the main characters - I’d wished they had more dates between the two of them (versus family and friends) just to give them more time in the spotlight. It felt like there were always other characters around and having their stories thrown in. However, I did enjoy the characters families and they were all great characters. I would recommend this book and will be reading the rest of the series still! It’s very well written and flows very well with the writing style.
