The Payback Plan was an enjoyable read, though it didn’t fully sweep me off my feet. I liked the charm and humor woven into the story, and the characters had moments that felt genuinely relatable. That said, some parts felt a bit predictable, and I wish a few plotlines had been explored more deeply. Overall, it was a light, entertaining read, just not as memorable as I hoped.

This story is both heartwarming and delightfully fun. The “punishment” of a million paper cuts is carried out in such a charming and creative way that it’s impossible not to smile. Both Oliver and Paige are utterly endearing, and their dynamic is irresistible. I loved the mix of slow-burn tension with the allure of the forbidden fruit—it made the romance all the more compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed every page.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley.

Get ready for a hilarious and heart-warming story filled with tension and laughter!
The only reason I didn’t rate this book 5 stars is because I had a hard time connecting with the writing style. The lingo was a little difficult to catch on to, and I wasn’t a fan of the third person POV. Other than that, the book was phenomenal, and I can’t wait to read the next one in the series!

Hilarious tale of a revenge plot gone awry...in the best way! I loved how Olly was tolerant of Paige's antics no matter how over the top they were. They each had their own personal issues to work through, so there's a little angst, but overall, this is a fun, lighthearted, highly entertaining rom-com. I will definitely be reading the remaining 3 books in this series!

The Payback Plan by Amy Andrews is a hilarious and spicy enemies-to-lovers romance that had me laughing out loud and rooting for the unlikely couple. Paige’s revenge scheme against the grumpy Olly is full of chaotic fun and unexpected heart. With sharp banter, sizzling chemistry, and a twisty plot, this book is a perfect blend of humor and heat. A must-read for fans of redemption and celebrity romance tropes!

In the first book in this funny new romance series, readers follow Paige Parker at the most unlikely airport deal that sets off a fascinating chain of events. Meeting three recently dumped strangers, the four women decide to swap exes and exact personalized revenge plans. Assigned to Olly Prendergast, the son of a movie star, Paige ends up in Cornwall and moves into his spare room with the intent of being the worst roommate ever -- such as bringing in pets and making a mess. As time passes, her plan backfires on her and their chemistry might totally turn everything around for both Paige and Olly. With so many tropes and an entertaining premise, readers will love this first novel in this series (and each book is written by a different author). The characters are the absolute stars of the novel, and the changing relationship and perspectives between Paige and Olly add emotion and depth to the novel. The characters are brilliantly written and absolutely entertaining, and readers will have a fun time with the perfectly selected tropes. Perfect for fans of Amy Andrews, romance readers will absolutely love this novel and the rest of the series because it’s a brilliant way to create a romance series.

What did I just read? It's been a while since I've had so much fun with a book. Paige cracked me up with her antics and every plan to drive Ollie crazy. Not only that, she was an incredible character; I could really see her as one of those romcoms you want to watch over and over again.
.
The first thing that caught my eye was the main plot, the idea that four strangers are stranded at the airport and end up sitting together at the only available table, leaving hours after bonding over their terrible ex's stories with a plan to get them some karma back is brilliant, it was so tempting
.
That's how Paige ends up in the spare room of Bella ex's house, with a whirlwind of colors, an overweight hamster, and a thousand t-shirts with phrases as ridiculous as they are funny making him more grump every passing Day
.
It was delightful how Paige slowly unsettled and broke Oliver's armor, and little by little the slow burn takes over until it leaves you longing for that perfect ending.
I didn't know Amy Andrews but I’m looking forward to read more of her books
.
Thanks to Amy Andrews and Bolwood books for give me a copy of this beautiful book in exchange for my honest and voluntary opinion

I didn't love this book unfortunately, it took me a long while to get into it and I found the fact that things were happening 'in other books in the series' in the same time frame as this one confusing as you often didn't get the full story or picture - I assume to make you read the others in the series.

That being said, in the end I did enjoy parts of the book, miscommunication was a big issue in this book but I enjoyed the fact that bringing a dog home brought the two 'enemies' closer together and that they were able to bound over certain things in a way that seemed authentic.

Talk about a book that will make you giddy and kick your legs. This was not only funny, it is romantic and just a feel good book to read. I thoroughly enjoyed the antics that Paige pulls off. Olly is such a great guy and I loved seeing the side of him when he finally lets Paige in. Such a great book that I think everyone will enjoy.

When a snowstorm hits O’Hare airport and cancels all outgoing flights, is it fate that four women find themselves at the same table? The four spend their time sharing their down on their luck love stories and realise there may be a way to help each other out. Each taking one of the other’s ex’s they come up with a plan to teach them a lesson…

⭐️⭐️⭐️

Paige travels to Cornwall to spend two months with Belle’s ex Oliver, who is the son of an Oscar winning star. He also jilted Belle on the day of their wedding. So Paige arrives with a few plans up her sleeve (including an overweight hamster called Flower) to try and teach Oliver a lesson.

I really did enjoy this one and the only reason I gave it three stars is it felt a bit long and just took me a while to read it. I just didn’t get that can’t put it down feeling with this one. But still a great book!

The Payback Plan is the first of four novels in The Karma Club series. Each written by a different popular romance novelist. This series seems so fun and well set out I can’t wait to read the other three!

Thank you Amy Andrew’s, Boldwood Books and Netgalley for this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book in the multi-author series The Karma Club. While it can theoretically be read as a standalone, this series is even more enjoyable when read in order. This book is Paige and Oliver's story, which is beautifully written with plenty of humor, making the book very entertaining. The characters are endearing and relatable. They have great chemistry, and I loved them together.
Thank you to NetGalley, Boldwood Books and Amy Andrews for an ARC.

Cute, quick, and silly, but definitely not remotely memorable. If you’re looking for a quick summer rom-com, grab this one!

Thanks to NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and the author for the chance to read this book.

Love the crazy start to the story and friendship between the 4 women. Obviously, it would never happen in real life, but that's the great thing about reading a book - to escape reality.

The antics of Paige to irritate Olly were highly amusing and would definitely drive me insane. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series , so thank you, Boldwood Books, for approving my request for all four books. 😍

4.5* absolutely loved this book so much that I couldn’t put it down and finished it in one sitting.

The premise of the book is fantastic and I already cannot wait to read the rest of the Karma Club series.

Paige is absolutely hell bent on ruining Oliver’s life in revenge for him jilting his ex on their wedding day by text! But as she spends more and more time with him, her feelings start to change. I love the build up of their relationship especially with Caspar and Pavarotti.

Would highly recommend for anyone who loves a quick humorous romance.

Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood books for my arc.

So, this is book one of a new series and I gotta say - I have pretty high hopes for this series after this one! This was the most perfect & hilarious story of four women meeting for the first time when they are snowed in at O'Hare airport. They meet and the way that these women bond over slices of red velvet cake, wine, and stories of heartbreak from their exes was absolutely the best part. I found myself laughing as they created a plan to get revenge - it sounded foolproof (not) and just made me crack up.

Paige is up first and for her she travels to Cornwall in order to turn Bella's exes Oliver life upside down. Oliver is a grump and I gotta admit - I like the grump angle! Oliver ended up dumping Bella via a text on the day of what should have been their wedding - pretty slimy move I gotta say! Paige unleashes the payback plan - she moves in, dirties up his house, and brings home a stray dog (yay for dogs in books!) but what she doesn't prepare for is the fact that she also gets to know Oliver. He's not that bad of a guy but she's torn - does she let down the friends she met? Or does she ignore the feelings that are building between her and Oliver?

This book really had it all - I giggled, and I cringed, and I just had a really good time reading this one and watching it all unfold. I look forward to the next book in the series also!

An enjoyable revenge-pact romance centred on Paige, who, stranded at the airport in a snowstorm, meets Astrid, Bella and Sienna and form a pact to get revenge on each other's no good exes. Paige finds herself in Cornwall and causing mayhem in the life of Ollie, who called off his wedding to Bella mere hours before the event. Hilarity ensues as Paige messes with Ollie's well-ordered life, bringing along an overweight hamster (and bombarding Ollie's phone with texts from 'Hamster Facts'), causing havoc in the kitchen with over-enthusiastic baking, and unwittingly bringing a stray dog home. Unfortunately for Paige, fate has other ideas and, revenge turns into fighting feelings for the man she is supposed to hate on Bella's behalf. What follows is an interesting take on enemies to lovers as Paige and Ollie struggle with their growing attraction, Ollie accepts he needs to deal with his feelings about his late father, and Paige deals with how to follow through on the revenge pact when Ollie might just be her happy ever after,
An entertaining opening to this four book series, the story flows well, and, whilst Paige may be breaking every rule of the girl code by falling for Ollie, Bella's reaction means you can root for the happy ending Paige and Ollie deserve.
