This book broke down how to use color in your home in a very approachable manner. I liked how it went through every color and offered color groupings associated with the main color and described what kind of vibes it gave off. This book doesn't just explain how to use the regular ROYGBIV, it also gives decorating ideas for pastels and neons. A fun book overall.

I LOVE how bold and playful this collection is. When I saw "rainbow home," I expected that it would be muted for mainstream appeal. I was thrilled to find that wasn't the case at all. This book really satisfied my craving for wall to wall, unapologetic color. I loved the palettes explaining how to mix and match colors, the whimsical ideas and rooms featured, and the wide variety of aesthetics. Maybe I'm easy to impress, but I found myself oohing and aahing at most of the pages, and this book left me feeling antsy to add some extra color to my own home.

I love color in my home so I was excited to read this book, but it was a bit of a miss for me. I suppose I am more of a boho and cottage style decorator, because these homes were just too loud and over the top for me. They tended towards very bright, primary colors and modern aesthetics with every surface painted something very bright. I appreciated the features of Instagram decorators and their spaces, but even those were just too much. If you want a literal rainbow house this will be a perfect fit for you.
I read a temporary digital loan of this book for review.
