This book has sent me a roller coaster ride for sure. At some points when I was trying to peice things together I forgot that there was spice. And spice there was.
Mist, and his protectiveness 😍😍
I cannot wait to read the rest of this series

It’s a cute little palette cleanser, it’s definitely not a main course. Ya know what I mean? It’s a cute story with a much appreciated thick-girl as a main character. However, the last intimate scene felt very medically formal, as if the writer took a break, watched a couple of episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and then sat back down at the computer. It had its cheese factor and a few cringy parts with too many “mine/s”, but overall a cute story.

I loved the first book so I was so happy to get an audio version of the second book in the series. Thank you to RB media and Netgalley for this audio.

My Demon Hunter is a captivating urban fantasy audiobook that mixes humor, action, and romance in a unique way. The story follows the protagonist, a relatable and feisty young woman, as she teams up with a brooding, sarcastic demon hunter to save the world from supernatural threats. The narration is lively, with the voice actor bringing the characters and their dynamic to life, especially the banter between the main characters.
The pacing is fast, and while the plot is filled with thrilling moments and a touch of mystery, it also explores some heartfelt emotional beats. The narrator does a fantastic job of balancing humor and intensity, making it easy to get lost in the world of demons, magic, and evolving relationships. If you enjoy witty dialogue and action-packed adventures with a dash of romance, My Demon Hunter is an audiobook worth checking out!

This second book in the series takes everything I enjoyed about the first and cranks it up a notch. The pacing is tighter, the stakes feel higher, and the characters are even more compelling this time around. What really stands out in the audiobook, though, is the narration. The narrator does an incredible job differentiating each character’s voice, making it easy to follow conversations and get immersed in the story. It adds so much personality and depth to an already gripping tale. If you liked the first book, you’re going to love this one even more!

Thank you Aurora Ascher and NetGalley for the chance to listen to this ALC!
A possessive demon MMC, and a FMC who’s a courageous witch that find each other and love. Dark and spicy 🥵, funny moments, great side characters… What’s not to like? I enjoyed this book and the story of Mist and Lilly. It was a quick, fun read! I give it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️.75 rating. Looking forward to the next book!
Narrated by Kirsten Leigh who done great job Portraying the characters and kept me engaged.

I think My Demon Hunter is perfect for fans of Katee Robert. The only downside to this book is that there is not a lot of detail.

Thank you for the ARC, however this is how I found out I don't enjoy monster spice. I personally felt this was an ADHD nightmare. It bounced around, everyone was childish, and there was no connection to anyone.
Audiobook narrator did a great job when speed up to 3x, otherwise the reader was far too slow for my enjoyment.

This book was perfect! I absolutely adored the first one but somehow this one is even better! I can’t wait to read/listen to the rest of the series.

I really enjoy this series. It’s the perfect amount of spice, romance, and story line all wrapped together. While I was really hoping this would be about one of the “brothers”, I was excited to learn more about the hunter and for him to be humanized. I also think the narration was done perfectly.

I was on the fence about the first book in this series, I enjoyed it but there were a few snags and some pacing issues. I was excited to give the second book a chance and I was not disappointed. I loved the continuation of the world building, seeing the demon brothers' personalities shine and the introduction of what is obviously our next FMC. The romance was adorable, excited to see more of these on Netgalley

I never imagined myself giggling like a fool over an awkward demon buying icecream for the first time, and yet here I am, equally alarmed at how much I related to him in this moment…
My Demon Hunter is a funny, fast-paced fantasy+romance with demons and fallen angels and witches and plane-sized faceless slug monsters and of course, a giant serving of spice (though not with the slug monsters…gross.). But more than that, this book is about self-discovery and understanding your worth.
Our FMC, Lily, is curvy, self-concious and timid, and haunted by the tragic death of her parents. Mist, our MMC, is a demon who is bound in servitude to hunt the guilty and bring them back to hell to his evil mistress, but he's finding Earth a much more appealing location..
Our leads meet in the ice cream aisle of a corner store in Montreal and I swear I was grinning like a fool during the whole interaction. Mist's awkwardness is endearing and his honesty swoon-worthy; Lily's shyness and bewilderment at the male before her is all too relatable. And it's a wild ride from there. I had a great time listening to this audiobook. The characters are loveable, the story engaging, and the world has that great mix of reality/fantasy/myth/legend that makes suspending disbelief that much easier.
The narrator for the audiobook, Kirsten Leigh, was fantastic. Her voices for each character were spot on, especially for our leads. She nailed the confused, brutally honest and primal nature of our demon, Mist, without making him come across as a bumbling fool. And for Lily, who is Irish but trying her hardest to sound north-American…. Kirsten's narration was brilliant, bringing in a lilting Irish accent every now and then (especially in stressful situations!).
I didn't realise until after finishing that this book was 2nd in a series, which made some parts of the book make more sense, but I hadn't read the earlier book and had no issues following along and enjoying this story for what it was.
It would be easy to just enjoy this book for the fun story, the grumpy demons and the super hot spice, but if you want a little more depth, and characters that grow, you'll get that, too.
Thank you RBmedia for providing this audiobook for review consideration via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Book two does not disappoint! Mist just wants to find some peace and a connection with someone after a life time of being a hunter. Lily just wanted some chocolate, but found so much more. Story follows Mist and Lily in their fight/journey to find some kind of hopefully “normal” life together. Listened to the audio book; great narrator. Highly recommend not just the book but the audio book as well. Thank you to the author and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to such a great story.

At the end of book 1 (My Funny Demon Valentine) we are introduced to Mist. A demon hunter who finds those who break the rules. In book 2 we see Mist decide to break the rules he has lived by for love.
This world Aurora has built is so fun. I love all the characters and the found family between them all. This is a fun paranormal romance with a strong FMC who will do everything in her power for her man (Mist). It’s a fun story you won’t want to put down.
This book is more of a monster romance book than book 1. Wherein book 1 the MMC is in human form and in book 2 he is usually in demon form. This is the only reason I didn’t love it as much as book 1.
Narration was great!

I think I’m now addicted to this series and sad I can’t go straight into the audiobook for Demon with Benefits 😩 I think I like Mist even more than Ash! He gives very similar vibes to those of Ice Planet Barbarians. I also think the plot is higher stakes in this story and pulled me in more. I really like that it leads into book 3 with the questions of the prophecy and Meph’s past because I am SUPER interested in him.
Once again, Kristen Leigh does a great job with the narration. I loved that she was able to not only perform the Irish accent, but was able to make it a very slight, almost unnoticeable accent. I feel like that would almost be more difficult to do intentionally, and it was so perfect for Lily.
I look forward to continuing this series and we will have to see if I manage to wait for audiobooks to be released.
Thank you for this ALC opportunity! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This author is new to me and when I received this book I realized it was the second in a series. I read the first one, and while I struggled at first with that story, I ended up enjoying it and was looking forward to the second book!
You don’t need to read the first book but the story is a continuation with the same characters (along with some new ones). I preferred this story to the first in the series. So if you are on the fence on whether to continue the series, I would recommend doing it.
It’s what I would consider a fun fae book - like a cozy mystery, only for fantasy. It’s not going to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions, but it’s a cute, enjoyable story that will make you chuckle. There is also some explicit spice - and it was different than anything I’d read, and not really my thing, but it was creative and I did appreciate how realistic it was in some ways. It was only a couple of scenes, so not overly impactful to other overall story.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a great job. I thought she especially did a good job with Mist. I will probably read the next book in the series and if it was the same narrator would probably opt for the audiobook version.
Thank you to Netgally for providing me with a copy to review.

Loving this series. It was great to see Mist get his HEA after meeting him in the first book. Great plus size rep and the FMC was easy to root for. The story flows easily and the narration was dynamite again. Kirsten Leigh is a phenomenal voice actor. Can’t wait for the next installment and to get to see the next couple!

Aurora Ascher knows exactly how to balance monster romance with just the right mix of spice and emotional depth, and My Demon Hunter is no exception. Mist, a demon hunter longing for freedom and a taste of real happiness, crosses paths with Lily while he’s hilariously struggling to pick out ice cream. Their connection is instant, even if Mist is still figuring out human social cues. Meanwhile, Lily is also looking for a fresh start, but as always, the past has a way of catching up. Their journey is equal parts heartwarming and intense, with plenty of growth and trust-building along the way.
The audiobook experience makes this story even better! Kirsten Leigh absolutely nails the narration, bringing out every emotional beat and making the character shifts feel effortless. Her performance really pulls you into Mist and Lily’s world, making it easy to get lost in their story. Highly recommend listening to this one!

Thank you to Net Galley for the ALC of this title!
I was a huge fan of My Funny Demon Valentine so I was so excited to get an ARC of My Demon Hunter! The narrator was fantastic. The story of Mist was not as good as Ash but i still enjoyed it. I also have to say that Demon Smut is next level smut. This book included lots of action and even some cute, funny scenes. I also enjoyed the story of sisters working together to figure out a "problem". This one is absolutely worth a listen!

This was one of the best Fantasy Romance novels I have listened to. The plot mixed in with the romance was just enough to keep my attention. They did have some “I’ve just met them but love them” times where I thought it could go too far but Aurora was able to reel it in to where the story made sense.
