The second installment of the Hell Bent series is a wonderful addition that enriches the narrative. It was enjoyable to reunite with familiar and endearing characters, while also being introduced to a captivating new love story featuring Mist and Lily. The humor, emotional depth, and romantic tension were all exceptionally well-crafted.
Lily, a plus-size woman with secret powers as a witch, and Mist, a demon whose awkwardness in human form leads to delightful interactions, share an engaging dynamic that is both charming and entertaining. Their chemistry is a perfect blend of sweetness and intensity, making their relationship particularly appealing.
This series consistently offers themes of camaraderie, humorous moments, and characters that resonate as relatable and genuine. The narrator skillfully brings the characters to life, enhancing the reading experience. The combination of paranormal romance, intricate world-building, and compelling character development positions this book as a highly recommended read.

Didn’t think I’d fall for Mist, but that clueless demon totally won me over. His unbothered confidence + Lily’s sweet acceptance = power couple energy. Their dynamic? Straight-up adorable.
This book felt like coming back to a fave vacation spot—familiar, but spicier. The hunter from book one stepping up? Yes, please. Demons stay down bad, and I’m here for all of it. Bring on the next one!

Aurora Ascher's "My Demon Hunter," the second installment in the Hell Bent series, delivers a captivating paranormal romance. The audiobook brings to life the electric connection between Mist, a demon slave turned soul-hunter now exploring his newfound freedom, and Lily, a seemingly ordinary woman with hidden depths. Their instant chemistry is undeniable, fueling a steamy and emotionally resonant relationship. While their connection ignites quickly, it's undeniably compelling. I thoroughly enjoyed the engaging plot and the humorous dynamic of demons navigating the human world. Though part of a series, this book can be enjoyed on its own. The narrator excels, providing distinct and engaging voices for all characters. Highly recommended for readers seeking a spicy, romantic, and adventurous read!
I received this audiobook as an ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thank you to NetGalley, Aurora Ascher, and RBmedia for the opportunity to review this book. This review has been posted across multiple socials.

4.5 stars. Such a fun addition to the Hell Bent series! I loved being back with the same lovable demons, but this time we get a brand-new love story featuring Mist and Lily. The humor, heart, and heat were all on point.
Lily is a plus-size beauty (who is secretly a powerful witch), and Mist is a demon who is delightfully awkward in his human form (which made for the cutest meet cute ever). Their dynamic had me smiling nonstop—he’s possessive in the swooniest way, and the chemistry between them is both sweet and sizzling.
This series continues to bring found brotherhood, laugh-out-loud moments, and characters that feel like your supernatural besties. Can’t wait to see the next love story between Mephistopheles (aka Meph) and Lily’s sister, Iris!

Great sequel to My Funny Demon Valentine!
This was a great continuation of the series. Ascher writes such beautiful characters and I absolutely love that the MFC is a thick, crafty girl. Watching Mist be a "villain" in the first book to seeing him get his HEA was amazing
I hope the series continues because there were, in my opinion, new villains introduced in this book without a complete confrontation and resolution

“My Demon Hunter” by Aurora Ascher is an absolute delight, living up to the high standards set by the first book in the series. The characters of Mist and Lily are beautifully crafted, with their chemistry and banter adding a delightful layer of humor and depth to the story. The narrator does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. The blend of paranormal romance, engaging world-building, and compelling characters makes this book a must-read. I’m eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series!

While I didn’t thoroughly enjoy the first book, I wanted to give the second book a chance but it again fell flat for me. I don’t enjoy the point of view of which it’s written in. I love the premise of the book, I just think it failed in execution for me. I feel like a lot of people will love this series but it just didn’t entice me. I also didn’t enjoy the narrator once again.
Thanks to NetGalley and RBMedia for an ARC copy of the audiobook to listen to.

3/5 🌶️
Similar to the first book in the Hellbent series except this one is about Mist and my oh my. 🥵
Demons, spice, music and light-hearted entertainment? What's not to enjoy? I'd definitely recommend this book and audiobook to anyone.
Thank you to NetGalley and RB Media for allowing me an ALC of My Funny Demon Valentine. This was definitely a cutesy rom-com-esque book with spice and hilarious banter. The narrator Kristen does a fantastic job yet again. I can’t wait to get through the entire series.

Similar to book one in this series, this story is like Lucifer the TV show mixed with Butcher and Blackbird by Brynne Weaver and I really enjoyed that combo.
These demons are so funny. And odd. And adorable. All in the best way.
I love Mist's contradictory innocence care and intense passion. All he wants is to do is love Lily. and also hunt her. It is a fabulous coupling, and I love the way their story turns out.
Also. Love the tail.

✨Thank you, RBmedia | Recorded Books and Netgalley, for the ALC of this book. All thoughts are my own.✨

I really enjoyed Lily & Mist’s story; they were the perfect compliment to each other. I loved the plus size representation with Lily and Mist finding his little demon family along the way. The cliffhanger definitely has me looking forward to the next book, too!
The audiobook narrator did a great job, I appreciated her unique accent for both Lily and Iris and her male voice was not cheesy. Wins all round!

Thank you NetGalley and RBMedia for allowing me to listen to this as an Audio ARC. I really enjoyed the storyline, and it definitely caught me off guard with plot twists. I am generally a 1st POV, 1 character kind of reader, but actually really enjoyed the ability to see into others minds. Both the MFC and MMC, I enjoyed. THE MFC felt real in her insecurities. As a plus girl myself, I really loved the representation and very true feelings that some of us may go through. Ultimately, I felt Mist and Lily were so complimentary and the MMC was refreshing in his empowerment of the MFC. He is a worthy hero who you will absolutely fall for. I loved their growth separately, and individually! I am really looking forward to the next book! As for the narration, it was a bit of a different style for me listening to. I felt this narrator did a very distinct job from her voice when reading the story vs speaking as the character if that makes sense. It was initially a bit hard for me to get used to, but eventually I was able to enjoy this style of narration.

Mist and Lily's story was cute. I didn't find this was as funny as the first one, but I loved how the guys took Mist in and accepted him as one of the family!
I do feel like the danger for the demons is getting more intense, and I can't wait for more from this series!
The audio narration was very well done!

This was the kind of book that surprises you in the best way. Based off my experience with the first book, I went in expecting a steamy paranormal romance (and trust me, it delivers on that), but I ended up loving it for so much more.
This is the second book in the Hell Bent series, and it picks up with Mist, a demon who’s spent forever dragging souls to Hell. But now he’s free—sort of—and for the first time, he’s figuring out what he wants. Enter Lily: a regular girl with a secret past and a glowing secret. Their chemistry? Off the charts. And yes, it’s open door (hello, demon tail), but it’s also romantic and full of longing. You feel it.
What I really liked was how fun this story was. The banter is clever but never cheesy. The journey the characters go on—both emotionally and literally—is exciting, sometimes tense, sometimes hilarious, and full of heart. It’s not just about lust. It’s about choosing someone, even when it’s hard. Even when Hell is literally chasing you.
Also, I appreciated the curvy girl rep. It felt natural and real, not forced or full of stereotypes. Lily is just Lily—smart, brave, sarcastic, and learning to stop running from herself.
If you want a romance that’s spicy and swoony, with dry humor, strong characters, and a dash of danger (and maybe a trip to Hell), this one’s totally worth your time. Just don’t read it in public unless you’re okay with blushing a little.

Thank you NetGalley and RBMedia for this ALC!
Kirsten Leigh is a brilliant storyteller. Aurora Asher wrote a great second novel in this series.
Wow. That was hot. Mist… yes, please. Gimme. I do have size questions though… how??? (Also, OOOOWWWWWWW!)

I loved the second book in the Hell Bent series as much as the first! I listened to the audiobook in a day. I couldn't put it down! It is such a fun mix of dark, funny and romantic. I cannot wait to read the other books in the series. 5 stars just for the vibes! The audiobook narration was really well done too.

The book starts out with a steady, slow pace. The world building is good and it's descriptive and allows the story to evolve. This story was very entertaining and fun. I loved lily and

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.
Aurora Ascher has managed to write another 5 star read! The second book in the Hell Bent series does a great job of adding to the story of the first book without getting repetitive or boring, not for even one page. I loved the main characters, Mist and Lily. You can really feel the chemistry between them. Ascher has managed to make a small side character in the last book feel just as fleshed out as the other characters that have had more pages.

I thought My Demon Hunter was a super fun read and a quick, easy listen. Great for a road trip or to listen to while working around the house. The narration was easy to follow and it wasn’t so outrageously spicy that I was worried about my AirPods falling out.
I really liked the relationship between Mist and Lily. His matter of fact understanding of the human world was fun to see him navigate and I loved how that deductive reasoning also applied to his attraction to Lily. There is some body image stuff that Lily is working through. I didn’t think it was super necessary to the story and think that Mist could have been obsessed with her plus-size bod without it.
The only thing I really didn’t like about this one was Lily’s sister Iris. She drove me insane and I hope we see a much different side of her if she ends up being the FMC in a future release of the series. In this book she was just kind of overbearing and annoying.
I really enjoyed the audio for this one. The narrator did a great job giving individuality to each character - not easy considering this was a third-person POV.
Thank you to NetGalley, RBmedia and Aurora Ascher for an early listening copy. These are my honest thoughts.

This book kept me intrigued from start to finish! The plot moved at a great pace, and the characters felt real and engaging. One of my favorite parts was the inclusion of a plus-size female main character—something we don’t see nearly enough of in fiction. Her journey added so much depth, and I found myself wishing for more of her story. I’d love to read more on Lily or Iris! A solid, enjoyable read overall.

ARC REVIEW
I'm actually quite bum about minor subplots went, (I inner English dictionary broke on me, but I think this is right word.) Am I overthinking it? Probably. I felt there were some many "coincidence" that was happening.
Cool cool cool, I'm fine, everything is fine. Not really because I was sad we didn't get any primal play; hence the book title "Demon Hunter." I figured we get more feral and unhinged smutty smut....nope
Did I like the story?.....Yea, in a way? I definitely feel it was more character driven than plot driven. I wouldn't have minded more information on the magic system because we honestly don't know how these characters even have magic, especially strong magic. I'm beginning to fall flat where the main scenario is heading...There's too many side quests
I received an ARC through Netgallery by the publisher.
