Pretty good story, the romance was cute, had great character progression, and overall would be a great book for readers wanting to get into some light monster romance.

I was in a depresive funk before listening to this book and the humor withing brought me out of it. This book was tons of fun, witty, and even thought provoking. I loved the way Mist (MMC) would ask why things are they way they are in the human world.
Genre: Monster Romance
Tropes: Monster Instincts, Protective MMC
Representation: Plus Size FMC
Spice: Open door, 3/5 🌶
Favorite moment: When he uses his tail inside her 😅....
I read this as a stand alone and it works well to read as such.
Thanks to RBmedia for an ARC of the audiobook.

My Demon Hunter is the second book in the Hell Bent series. This book is about Mist and Lily and is told from both of their points of view. Mist is a Demon Hunter, and Lily is a witch.
Mist has been enslaved for a millennia and now he is testing his freedom on Earth. He meets Lily and instantly has an attraction to her. Lily has feelings for Mist as well, but can tell there is something off about him.
Lily finds out Mist's secret, but he has other factors that are trying to bring him back to the underworld and it's not going well. Lily will do anything to help save Mist and Mist will do anything to save Lily.
Will Lily and Mist get their happy ending? One thing I love about this series is how these demons act on Earth. They don't know the human protocols and I find it amusing when they are trying to figure things out. I loved seeing the other characters in this book as well, and I can't wait for their stories!

Whoopsies! I accidentally read this book before the first in the series... but I totally dove right in anyway! I enjoyed the characters very much and I can't wait to learn more about them when I read Ascher's first in the Hell Bent series.
This book is hot, hot- spicy, so reader beware! Very graphic context, but once again I enjoyed the whole book!
I listened to the audiobook version of this story and I have no complaints about the narrators voice. She did great jo with the growly demon voices.
Thank you to Aurora Ascher, RBmedia, and Net Galley for the ARC!

Audiobook Demon Hunter by Aurora Ascher is A Love Story Hotter Than Hell (Literally!) 🔥👹💘
Ladies and gentlemen, grab your holy water and your emergency chocolate stash because Demon Hunter is here to drag you straight into a whirlwind of sizzling romance, supernatural chaos, and enough tension to fry an egg on your Kindle.
Meet Mist—a demon-enslaved, soul-snatching Hunter who’s spent centuries dragging the wicked to Hell. Sounds like a dream job, right? Yeah, no. Turns out, tasting freedom (and possibly ice cream) on Earth makes a guy rethink his whole “eternal damnation and destruction” career path. Especially when he lays eyes on Lily, a totally normal human woman just trying to buy some snacks, who suddenly finds herself being very intensely stalked through the frozen foods aisle. (Sir, this is a grocery store, not a speed dating event.).
But surprise! Lily isn’t just some random human—she’s got secrets darker than Mist’s past, and now they’re both on a collision course with destiny, doom, and very questionable life choices. Will Mist resist the urge to claim Lily as his own? Will Lily stop running from her past and start running toward this brooding, tattooed menace? And most importantly—will they ever actually get to eat the ice cream??
Demon Hunter is a spicy, action-packed, paranormal romance that will have you swooning, screaming, and possibly side-eyeing the freezer section on your next grocery run. 5/5 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥—highly recommend for lovers of tortured heroes, fierce heroines, and romances that bring the heat… and maybe a few demonic consequences. 😈❤️

Loved this sexy supernatural book! Tail sexy time, demon hottie, and an awesome witch girl! Perfect supernatural smut :)

This second book in Aurora Ascher's Hell Bent series, "My Demon Hunter" was a fun, suspenseful, and spicy ride. Book number 2 starts off right where we left Ash and Eva from 'My Demon Valentine' - Mist has recently moved into Ash's vacated space in the apartment Bel, Meph, and Raum share. When Eva sends him on a late-night ice cream run, Mist meets Lily, but what starts as an adorable meet cute dissolves into disappointment when Mist misinterprets Lily's awkward attempt to get his phone number. With some help from his newfound friends, Mist reconnects with Lily, only for them to be separated again. With Mist enslaved to Paimon, and Lily with dark secrets in her own past to be revealed, will these two be able to explore their instant attraction to each other? Demons and witches aren't meant to be together, will Mist and Lily get to be the exception?
This book was such a fun follow up. I love that while this novel focused on a new set of main characters (one of which, Mist) was introduced in 'My Demon Valentine', we still got to see good page time for other characters in the series that I am growing to love. I particularly can't wait to until we get to see a novel written focusing on Belial, I believe we're starting to see his careful facade crack under the strain of being his brother's caretaker, and I'm interested to see where Aurora Ascher takes his story line. We also get an intriguing hint of a new possible villain for the upcoming novels in the series, which is exciting. I can't wait to see what comes next for the found family that Aurora Ascher has created in this series.
I listened to this as an audio book, and really enjoyed it. This novel book had the first narrator that I've been able to increase the reading speed slightly (because I can sometimes get distracted easily when the narration is slower paced) but I was still able to clearly understand her. I was impressed by the very subtle Irish accent that she was able to produce for Lily. The only thing that could have made this audio book better would be if it was in dual narration, but it was otherwise delightful to listen to.
Thank you to NetGalley and RBMedia for providing me with an ARC of this audiobook to listen to in exchange for my honest review.

I love this spicy, quirky, fun series. This book takes you on another quest with a new set of characters who grow on you throughout the story :)

A sequel to the hilarious and cute My Funny Demon Valentine focused on the demon hunter, Mist. Lily gets courted by Mist, who is so clueless to the human ways it's adorable. He breaks the demon rules to spend more time with Lily. Meanwhile, Lily is working on having clear communication with the demon and convincing herself that him being a demon doesn't matter, or does it??
The plot thickens and tied to previous series concerns as the pressure to get all of the demons back to hell increases.
Loved the demon bros banter from previous books and can sense the books to come will continue to be added to my TBR. Narration was great, cute and funny paranormal romance.
Thanks to NetGalley and RB Media for the ALC in exchange for an honest review. Audio release on 3/25/25.

My Demon Hunter by Aurora Ascher is the follow-up in the series.
It is also written in third-person POV. The pacing and style kept me focused throughout the story. Kirsten Leigh absolutely brought this role to life and I loved it! She is so talented.
Mishetsumephtai, or Mist, is the hunter from My Funny Demon Valentine. He was previously tracking Ash and after observing them realized he might want what they were enjoying. Enter Lily Donovan, and everything Mist thought he knew shifts.
The way that Lily sees herself was so raw and realistic to me. I felt like I could see myself in her, and I am so appreciative for those moments.
I loved watching their story unfold, and yet again the banter and friend group was top tier. Aurora is such a talented author and I love this series so much!!!

Excuse me while I scream into a pillow. Idk what else to do because Mist and Lily’s story had me SWOONING. And now I’m angry at being single and not having an immortal demon willing to die an eternal death just to keep me safe 😂
I absolutely cackled at the s*x shop memory scene and then her cursing her lack of purchases.
I really enjoyed book one but I think so far book 2 is my favorite! I’m loving this series and truly cannot wait to read more with the other demons and especially Iris 👀
Thank you to NetGalley, for providing me with an ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review. All thoughts are my own and are in no way influenced by early access to this title.

Second book in and I'm hooked. These books while spicy, romantic and otherworldly - are hilarious! I still love how there's a main focus on Lily and Mist but everyone else is still part of the story enough that each of these books flow seamlessly. Ready to dive into Meph and Iris' story and see what antics this gorup gets up to next.

Loved it! I honestly didn’t think it could get any better than the first book! I was wrong. Truly amazing. Loved mist! The narrator did amazing as both mist and Lily. I loved these characters! The narrator is exactly what I imagined lily to sound like! I loved how these two overcame their past and build a future together. It was truly delightful audiobook!! Can’t wait for the next book!!!

Thank you Net Galley
I loved the from the first page! The romance is fantastic! This is everything you need in a demon romance!
I also loved all the characters and would 100% recommend! The audiobook narration was amazing and so easy to listen too!
Cant wait for more of this series :)

4/5⭐
Like the first book, I really enjoyed this one.
It was funny. It was spicy. It was well narrated and written.
I really like Mist and Lily and their story. The lust and the trust could go hand in hand - who knew 😃 And the tail - oh, wow... this was something 😁
Maybe should have made Lily less insecure in her appearance 🙂
I am waiting for Meph's story 😍
Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Another great book in this series. I am loving this world that Aurora Ascher is slowly building.
This story follows Mist and Lily.
Mist made me laugh so much with his demon wording and bluntless.
Lily has her own secrets and her own past. I loved how these two overcame their past and build a future together.
The ending though let clues to future stories.
The narrator was really good .

An absolutely delightfully fun read with the sweetest most awkward gentleman of a demon. I love the character growth as the series progresses. We get a bit more spice and a great plotline. This is certainly a series of adorable demons! #hellbenthellions
I love the narrator too. While I would love to hear a full cast or a duet, the voice actor does a great job bringing the story to life.

This is completely different from my normal romantasy or romance books. A demon and a witch fall in love...and I flew through this book. It is so well written and such a quick enjoyable read. I hadn't read the first in the series and it didn't matter, but you would know some of the other characters better if the first had been read. If you're looking for a sweet, short and unconventional romance with some spice then this is a great choice! Thank you NetGalley and RBmedia for an ARC of this book.

🎧 Book Review 🎧 It’s been a month since I devoured My Funny Demon Valentine, which in book years is forever so I was delighted to dive back into the second installment in the Hell Bent series. Did the second book live up to my high hopes? Hell yes and more! The colorful gang is back with some new characters, building on an already hilariously heartfelt story. Aurora Ascher’s words translate perfectly to this uproariously delightful audiobook that never stops delivering magical action mixed with endless amusement. Hours were lost and it was fine by me as I was totally immersed in this hybrid world that sounds terrifying but is a true whimsical escape in the best way. Dare I say that this one sucked me into some kind of wonderful time warp with my new favorite literary crew…

This was such a fun time! It was my first foray into monster romance and I really liked it. The plot was great, I only wish I had read the first one to get some more of the backstory (although I don’t believe it is fully dependent on reading the first book, you can understand the story without it.) I did find myself laughing out loud often- who knew a monster love story could also be a rom-com!
Mist was a great character, swoon worthy and Lily was strong and I loved how they didn’t give up on each other.
I think my only true gripe is the insta-love. But in such a high stakes, supernatural word that might be the only way to love. The author did do a wonderful job of showing how much they truly cared about each other and I did believe their chemistry.
The narrators did a fantastic job as well!
I am going to back and read the first book too because I very much enjoyed all the side characters and can’t wait to read future installments as well!
Thank you to the publishers and NetGalley for the ALC in exchange for my honest opinion
