I'm a fan of Cole's more explicit and queer stories, which probably dampened my enjoyment of this story about a straight couple a bit. Not overall as this book did not leave much to the imagination, but I guess this title did not resonate with me as much as his queer titles have. Those were authentic in writing and storytelling, and while this was still a great and sexy story, it didn't showcase how good of a writer Cole is. It seemed forced in a way? Nonetheless, this story was electrifying and the sexual tension between the characters were off the charts.
