Cute simple little story. Loved the characters and their strong personalities. I would love to be mixed up with them in their community. Quick moving sweet story.

I mean the cover said beach read. It said sit awhile. It said rest. And that was what the contents of this books said to me,made me feel too.
All the characters had the foibles. They all had their issues. And they presented themselves in different ways and equally they were worked through in differing ways.
I felt for Ivy at the same time I wanted to shake her.
I liked NOra and her background just made me want to give her a big hug. But equally at times I wanted to shake her too.
And yup. The dad. I wanted to shake him alot too!
Haha but I also wanted to read more about these three and watch them love and grow and love again.lovely read.

I really wanted to love this story more. It was heartwarming but it absolutely felt rushed.
This is a great beach read and a good story to escape the world a bit. However, I found the whole situation with Ivy a bit tiresome because I think my being raised in a Latina household just could never allow Ivy to do what she did without facing some repercussions. 🤣 It just seemed to be a bit too unbelievable and the ending where everything just seemed to work out? I’m not buying it.
The relationship between Ivy and Blaze had lacked some depth. It felt like everything just kind of happened and then ta-da, let me take you on the trip of your dreams? After not talking for so long? Just not buying it.
A few moments I did enjoy: the grandma’s antics.
Thank you NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the ARC in exchange of an honest review.

A great beach read! Nora has a problem teenager in her school job. Can this lead to her famous father and a chance at romance. Maybe a trip to the beach will bring it all together.

This is the first book by Jenny Hale that I’ve read I really enjoyed it. I loved the character development, writing style and descriptions of the gorgeous gulf coast. This is an uplifting story about love conquering the impossible. A cosy, feel good summer read that I’d recommend to anyone.

I love any of Jenny Hale’s books. I don’t know what it is. The story, the premise and even the book cover. Yes I’m probably one of those people who do judge a book by its cover. But honestly I sometimes can’t help myself. And this book was no exception. Although I’m going to ready any book by this author and probably love. When I saw this was available as an instant read I knew it was must to have on my kindle. I think I devoured it in one sitting on the train to work. And definitely helped to get me out of my reading slump.

I'm going to leave a long quote that sums up this story perfectly
“You know what I’d like to tell you about your life?”“What?”“Enjoy the moments when you don’t know what’s next. Be excited about them.”“Why would I be excited when I have no plans?”“Because those moments are the slip of time before God reveals your next big journey.” Gram’s words tingled down her spine. "I love that."
I think when we do spur of the moment things those times are the most special. At they are for me.
As Nora and I are learning God puts people in our lives at exactly the right time and place but He also let those people go on to their own journeys in life
I loved this story so much because I'm at the place where Nora is. God just yanked someone out of my life and I am learning to cope with it. It's not easy either.
It's hard losing someone to death or just them walking out of your life to move on.
Makes a person feel like they're stuck.
When I picked this book up I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not but I was pleasantly surprised. It seemed to hit my life head on leaving me to connect with Nora and Ivy.
By the way, I absolutely adored Ivy! Even at the beginning lol.
I feel passionately about this story because it touched me so. That's probably why I wrote such a long review I apologize!
Nora the peacemaker. I like that. That's what I am a peacemaker. Perhaps that's why God put me here. Who knows?
Thanks you for such a moving and powerful novel that I enjoyed very much!
5 stars for a job well done!!!!
My thanks for a copy of this beautiful story. One I won't forget anytime soon! I wasn't required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine.

An excellent read for any and all readers! Author comes at you with both barrels and knocks you out of your shoes! Great job fleshing out all the characters. I give this book FIVE stars! Definitely recommend!

Out of the Blue by Jenny Hale was a wonderful story about romance and love. I loved the characters. The characters had strong personalities.

Can't wait to read this expected publication date of April 29, 2025.
