Didnt realize this was book two so I definitely had to go back and get caught up and it was amazing.

Thank you to Sterling & Stone and NetGalley for my advance copy for my unbiased honest review.

Margaret Bernard's The Devil's Magic delivers a thrilling, non-stop action ride through a world where angels and demons clash to reshape Heaven, Earth and Hell. Caridad and Mercedes, two powerful assassins, are at the heart of this captivating plot. The fast paced narrative is filled with exciting action sequences, but I personally wished for more character development and less introspection. Despite this, The Devil's Magic was a highly enjoyable read, perfect for fans of fantasy with a strong female leads with kick ass fight scenes and plenty of edge of your seat moments. Highly recommended. Gonna start Devil's redemption now.

I hadn't read the first book but the premise for this book was so good I just had to give it a go and I want disappointed. Feisty twin FMC's tasked with being Angel and Demon hunters, the girls battle to bring balance whilst dealing with the traumatic events of the first book and the inevitable fall out which takes its toll on them both.

Adding to the mix is Jay, a Gazer, guided by a Seraphim to train the girls for the tasks ahead. His story seamlessly intertwined with the girls as he also faces his past and looks to his future.

Full of fast paced action and sassy modern dialogue I just loved this book and I can't wait to read the next installment
