I mostly enjoyed this book overall. It reminds me a lot of Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport in the approach taken to discuss the issue at hand. There is a lot of information packed into the book. My biggest gripe comes from the fact that the cause of digital exhaustion is being mainly attributed to the prevalence of screens. As a working professional, I don’t think the mere presence of screens is the cause of exhaustion, but rather its ability to make accessing work easier and blurring the boundaries of where work ends. That being said, it’s a very interesting read and one that I would recommend for anyone who feels digitally exhausted themselves or are fans of Caa a l Newport.
