Wesleigh Siobhan Is by far one of my favorite narrators. She always does an amazing job. This was my first single narrative by her and she nailed all the characters perfectly!

I think Danielle Allen did an amazing job with Plus Size Player. I love how driven and confident Nina was through the book but also allowed her self to become vulnerable throughout. I love how she never compromised what made her comfortable and never settled when it came to her body, her career or her love life. I also loved how Rus never pressured Nina and allowed her the freedom to move on her on terms. Both of these characters balanced each other in the best ways and I loved that for them.

Ms. Danielle Allen come to the front please! This was a great follow up to Curvy Girl Summer. Nina was the perfect representation of what size representation means. She was smart, funny and beautiful. The way she navigated her dating life was perfection along with the way she handled her personal life. Question was the Flava magazine a reference to Living Single, cause I caught it! The audiobook narration made the story feel real like I was watching a movie. Russ could get it! That man was the definition of talk you through it. The whole story had me cackling in public and kicking my feet! Loved every moment of it. I loved that Nina did not have to give up her dreams and that Russ was able to achieve his dreams while still protecting Nina. This story was SPICY!!! I loved every moment of it!

First of all the narrator was a 10 outta ten, helping the novel achieve the vibes of being funny and equal parts sexy. Nina was a new, colorful, type of character that I enjoyed: a plus size fashion influencer that has an active roster of men even (though it was clear who she'd end up being with). I loved the hilarious and realistic dialogue throughout the story and Russ was a great love interest. The business conflict storyline lasted a little too long for me, but I could appreciate a tangible obstacle being thrown in their love story. Looking forward to reading book 3!!!

It is extremely difficult to follow up a book with book 2 being almost more fire than the first book! But my goodness, Danielle come to the stage and accept your award!! Firstly, thank you to NetGalley for the advance listener copy and MacMillan audio. This book can be read as a standalone, but it also can be read like as a sequel to curvy girl summer because the timelines overlap. I thoroughly enjoyed this one!

I really don’t have much to say because it was amazing! it was fire from beginning to end. The book was so good that I had to put it down several times because I was giddy, kicking my feet and screaming in public. Everything from the side characters, the plot development, the tension, the spice -everything was right on the mark for me. I loved how tiny parts of the story always loop back around to make it cohesive. I also really love how this book sets up for a third book in the series!

5/5 stars no notes! 💕💕

One sentence summary: Nina spends her time with the roster because she does not believe that one man can fit all of her needs but combining an opportunity of a lifetime and one man from the roster starting to stand out more everything gets complicated!

Recommend this book to folks who love a good story, women with a FULL roster, those who desire a RICH man, women who are fond of sisterhood & shenanigans & those who like the door to be WIDE open for the spice.

EXCUSE ME!? But this book just blew me away! I'm in love with everything about these characters and their lives. Nina is confidence and sass personified, and Russ is the ideal hype man. He supports his woman unapologetically and lets her shine. I can't wait to read more from Danielle Allen.

I had chills listening to this audio book. Wesleigh Siobhan had be crying and giggling throughout her entire performance. I can't wait to listen to more of her work.

Danielle Allen does it again! Curvy Girl Summer was one of my favorite reads of 2024 and Plus Sized Player is a great follow-up novel. Once again, we're given a curvy black woman as a main character and the storyline isn't dependent on her trauma as a plus sized woman nor a woman of color. We get to see her live in joy and I love it!

Nina Ford is known to have a heavy rotation, keeping a roster of men at the ready. But she meets someone that surprises her and has her ready to settle down.

Full of humor, spice, and wit, Plus Size Player is a romance novel that you won't want to put down.

Highly recommend for those that like a lot of spice with a lighthearted story line.

I'll start by saying the plot was very good, I also really enjoyed the narrator. I felt the sexual content came on fast and I was not able to connect with the main characters emotionally because all they did mostly was have sex. The phatphobia was a bit much me.

I absolutely LOVED this audiobook. Wesleigh can do no wrong when it comes to her narration. She is one of the few female narrators that does not need a costar bc her man voice is better than some of the actual men out here. I said what I said! lol

Outside of the narration, the story itself was also great! It was funny, sexy and kept me entertained. I will say the bits of fat phobia were beginning to get annoying but it wasn’t brought up so often where I felt it took away from the story.

I highly recommend this audiobook. Thank you Macmillan Audio for the ALC!

This book did not disappoint! I loved how Nina was confident, sassy, and a boss. I also like the social media/influencer plot focus— which is very relevant to today. The narrator brought the story to life and made the listening experience fun!
Thank you Bramble for the ALC!

Book 2 in the Curve series did not disappoint—Danielle Allen delivers yet another page-turner dripping with confidence, sass, and steam.

Nina—bold, beautiful, and curvy . A powerhouse social media fashion influencer, she’s used to calling the shots in both her career and her love life. Settling down? Please. Nina kept a solid rotation of four men—each one serving a specific purpose—and was always on the lookout for fresh prospects. She didn’t believe in putting all her eggs in one basket when she had a whole damn farmer’s market.

But then came Russ. The fun one. The one who made her twice about the rules she swore by. There was just something about him—something magnetic, disarming, and real. While the others checked boxes, Russ sparked something deeper.

Suddenly, the queen of the roster starts wondering what it might be like to trade in the playbook for something exclusive... and possibly everlasting.

Danielle Allen writes with irresistible charm and wit, painting a vivid portrait of a woman who owns her power but might just be ready to share her heart. Plus Size Player is a fresh romance that proves love doesn’t mean losing yourself—it might just mean finding someone who sees all of you and chooses you anyway.

Plus Size Player was everything. I am absolutely obsessed—and I’m not exaggerating when I say this has officially earned a spot as one of my favorite books of the year. Danielle Allen truly did the damn thing with Nina’s story. From the first chapter, I felt like a giddy schoolgirl, and that feeling stayed with me long after the final chapter. This book was pure joy, full of heart, heat, and celebration of self-worth.

Nina is a boss. Full stop. I loved everything about her—her drive, her unapologetic fashion sense, her confidence in business and in life, and most of all, how she navigates dating as a plus-size woman. She didn’t allow anyone to disrespect her or project their insecurities onto her, but she also knew when to keep it pushing because not everyone is worth your energy—and that balance was so empowering to witness.

And Rus? Let’s talk about Rus. Because I am in love. This man had it all—swagger, sex appeal, quiet confidence, and a deeply tender, attentive side that melted me. His chemistry with Nina was electric, but it wasn’t just about the heat (though whoa... there was plenty of that). It was the way he showed up for her. The way he saw her, respected her, chose her without hesitation or ego. Their love story was sweet, spicy, and so well-earned.

The friend group continues to be such a highlight in this series. Their group texts, playful jabs, and unconditional support bring so much warmth and laughter to the story. I love how Danielle Allen builds these women up—not just as romantic leads, but as friends, professionals, and women with full, complex lives. They hype each other up, keep it real, and ride hard for their girls without judgment. It's one of my favorite things about Allen’s writing.

Now let’s talk about the audiobook narration—because Wesleigh Siobhan was utter perfection. She captured Nina’s voice so effortlessly, it didn’t feel like listening to a book—it felt like Nina herself was in my ears, telling me her story with all the sass, softness, and confidence that defines her. Every emotion, every flirty moment, every moment of quiet vulnerability—Siobhan nailed it. Her delivery was magnetic and full of personality, making the experience even more immersive and intimate. She brought so much life to the story and made it impossible to pause.

If you’re looking for a romance that will make you smile, swoon, fan yourself, and feel deeply seen—Plus Size Player is that book. I already want to re-listen. Nina and Rus, forever.

Wesleigh Siobhan once again proves why she's one of the best narrators in romance! She expertly narrates Nina's story in the Curve series. Curvy Girl Summer was great! But Plus Size Player...WOW! Compared to book one in the Curve series by Danielle Allen, Plus Size Player is a fast-paced romance with a sure and certain MMC. Player Nina has her work cut out for her as her romance with Russell turns complicated. Bravo to Allen on another can't-put-down and sexy story.

Nina’s story!! Are you kidding me sexy plus size model!! This one was a fun read! I definitely bonded with Aaliyah and Ahmad’s story more but this one was still good.

I can’t wait to read Jazz’s story!

I appreciate the ARC! NetGalley!

Thank you!

Thank you to NetGalley and Bramble for the opportunity to read an advance copy of Plus Size Player by Danielle Allen.

This was a fun, fresh, and empowering romance that puts confident, complex Black characters at the center of the story in a way that felt both meaningful and joyful. Danielle Allen does a fantastic job balancing humor, heart, and heat, all while exploring themes of self-love, body positivity, and emotional vulnerability. The main character’s voice is bold and authentic, and the chemistry between the leads kept me engaged throughout.

While there were a few pacing issues and some moments that could’ve gone a bit deeper, overall this was a solid read with charm and substance. Definitely worth picking up if you enjoy smart, sexy romances with empowered heroines and swoony love interests.

Wesleigh Siobhan can do no wrong. The narration was phenomenal.

Plus Size Player is a sweet, spicy, super fun romance. I found myself kicking my feet and smiling super hard. My one critique is I wish the conflicts would have lasted just a little longer. I loved the banter, the chemistry and the steam between the main characters. Those who thought Curvy Girl Summer was a slow burn will love this because they get straight to it. Highly recommend!

I had such a good time listening to this. Wesleigh Siobhan is an awesome narrator.
Danielle Allen doesn't disappoint with her writing. I love that her stories jump you right in. Nina is that girl, plus size model and player lol. I love her and the journey to love.

The combination of Danielle Allen's writing and Wesleigh Siobhan's voice is beyond magic. I loved the banter. I laughed so many times. My emotions were all over the place with this book. I've recommended it to everyone.

As a huge huge fan of Danielle Allen, this was probably my least favorite book by her. I loved Nina as a character, but nearly every other page, someone was fat shaming her. As a plus size black woman, I have never experienced fat shaming. Especially not by men. I don’t think that this was realistic. I know it’s fiction, realistic fiction at that, but I just did not like this book.

As someone who read CGS last year and absolutely LOVED it, I had very high expectations for this release. It's safe to say that Danielle exceeded EVERY expectation. This book was fun, spicy and funny and perfect in every way! I'm already excited for the next installment.

I have had the pleasure of reading/listening to a few books narrated by Wesleigh Sioban but this took the cake. She did a phenomenal job and made an amazing book even better.
