The Billionaire and the Virgin has been on my Netgalley TBR for... years. I've just kept putting it off because I wasn't in the mood (and if I'm being honest because I was afraid I wouldn't like it). I'm a much different reader than I was 6 years ago when I requested this book. I've grown tired of both billionaires and naive heroines. (I might have read way too many of both early on in my romance-reading journey.) So, anyhow, I finally decided to give it a shot and started the audio the other day. I made it through maybe 4 chapters before I admitted it just wasn't for me.

The Billionaire and the Virgin is the first book in the adult contemporary romance series, Billionaires and Bridesmaids by Jessica Clare. I have a confession to make...I have never read a billionaire romance. I'm not really sure why, I guess I just had a preconceived notion in my head that they would be unrealistic. But I have to admit, I really loved this book! I thought it was a ton of fun and was really romantic and sexy.

In The Billionaire and the Virgin we meet our main characters, Rob and Marjorie. Rob and Marjorie are total opposites. Rob runs a network that is basically bad girls club meets girls gone wild, and Marjorie is...well, a virgin. I loved Marjorie. She is an old soul who enjoyed shuffleboard and other tame activities, so it is safe to say she is not a girl gone wild in the slightest. But watching her and Rob interact was a total riot! Sure, sometimes he was a jerk and sometimes she was too soft spoken but they got into their own groove. And I was loving it!

Rob helps her come out of her shell and feel sexy in her own skin and I was totally there for their scorching hot chemistry! This book was saucy and spicy and a great time! I loved it and I can't wait to read more from Jessica Clare!
