It's a beautifully written novel. The problem comes in the entertainment factor. There isn't much storytelling to speak of. Honestly, it was another DNF for me.

When I saw this recommended for fans of Curtis Sittenfeld, I knew I was in for a treat. The dynamics of an American family are superbly rendered in Pierpont's debut. Well done!

A sad story about a family that falls apart after the husband's infidelity.

The premise of this book seemed like something I would like but I found the characters on all sides a bit skeevy and ultimately could not finish the title.
