I took Holocaust and Genocide Prevention Studies in Grade 12, so I felt it was poignant that Itzhak’s story came full circle - that his father was a Holocaust survivor, and that later he helped to promote healing in a Gorilla sanctuary in Rwanda, amongst later other interactions with helping the county - the site of a different genocide. An important tale of resilience, family, love, diplomacy, and business.
