This was a clear miss. I disliked both the book and its narrator. The writing wasn't compelling at all, too descriptive in a bland, boring way, and the humor didn't land for me at all. It felt immature, I guess. It sounded as though the narrator moved away from her mic a bit or something, and her pronunciation of Greek words (spoken by actual Greeks in the story) was horrible. (I'm Greek, so, massive pet peeve alert.)
Shame. I was looking forward to this story!
