Valerie Yarnell is a hardworking single mother who’d do anything for her daughter, Kate. Kate is a dancer with dreams of stardom, just like her talented best friend, Colette. Despite Valerie’s sacrifices, it’s Colette’s mother, former prima ballerina Elise, whom Kate adores. And Colette has become like the practically perfect sister Kate never had. How can Valerie not feel frustrated, ineffectual, and a little jealous of the queen bee of dance moms? Not only has she hijacked her daughter, but Elise is married to the man Valerie pines for.
Rivalries are forming. Tension is mounting. In preparation for an elite dance competition, Kate outshines the more promising Colette onstage, and the pressure is on for Colette to keep her position in the spotlight—and especially to keep her demanding mother happy. Who could have foreseen the violent attack that sabotages everything? Anyone who’s been watching closely.
As ruthless and sinister ambitions are exposed, a media firestorm and an explosive town scandal erupt. Before it’s over, two mothers and two daughters will learn just how fierce and dangerous a rivalry can still get.
Loved it. WIll recommend to others

I really enjoyed this one! I loved the authors writing style and the characters that were introduced. Elise was definitely one of those people you love to hate and I thought that was portrayed well throughout. I had quite a few suspicions but none of them were correct 😂 All in all, this was a good read that I would recommend checking out.
What’s Yours is Mine is out now!!

Loved this book! Dance Moms and their daughters, in print. The lies, the obsession, the secrets. It's a book I could not put down and didn't know what the ending would actually be.

What’s Yours is Mine is a gripping page-turner that kept me reading well past bedtime.
The story pulled me in quickly, and I found every character enjoyable (even when not likeable) and believable, which made the suspense all the more engaging.
I couldn’t wait to see what happened next, and that sense of anticipation carried me through the book. That said, the ending left me a little underwhelmed; it fell somewhat flat compared to the strong build-up. Still, the ride to get there was worth it, and I would happily recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys suspense.

This story grabbed my attention immediately and I wanted to keep reading until it was finished.
The book was full of unlikable characters. Both moms weren’t great though one was way worse. The girls were hard to stomach at times too. But the rivalry and jealousy felt very real.
There were times when the story left you guessing and other times when stuff was a bit obvious. But overall, this was a fun read.

This book is a twisty, character-driven domestic drama filled with secrets, lies, obsession, and drama especially in the high-pressure world of competitive dance. While it’s marketed as a thriller, it gives YA, domestic drama vibe.
I enjoyed Valerie, although I wasn't in agreement with some of her choices. This book is messy and it kept me turning the pages. The story builds a strong sense of paranoia and intrigue, although I found the multiple POVs confusing sometimes, especially since they’re not always clearly marked.
The first half pulled me in as it had a nice steady pace but then in the second half, the storyline was very repetitive. The ending did surprise me but it might not surprise you if you are an avid thriller reader.

Two best friends grew up dancing together. One day, Collette's Mom, a former professional dancer realizes that Kate might be a better dancer. Both girls get accepted to a prestiges competition and when Kate gets the starring role in their dance troupes gala, everything comes to a head.
Think Dance Moms, where not only the kids compete against each other, so do the mothers. This was really well written story; it was easy to follow and really enjoyable

I went into this one pretty blind and quickly found myself hooked on this story. This is part thriller, part suspense, and part drama.
There are some really good twists and turns and one that was a little shocking!
The drama in this is over the top and messy and I was here for it!!! I really liked the use of multiple POVs to tell this story - we get views from the moms and the daughters. Kate and Collette start out as friends and we see the effects of a competition with prize money. This book also touches on privilege and talent and jealousy.
Right from the start we get this tension that grows and spirals will probably have you asking what will these moms do next??

What’s Yours Is Mine by Jennifer Jabaley is a gripping psychological thriller that thrives on obsession, rivalry, and the dark side of motherhood. From the first chapter, the tension is palpable parents spiraling into madness, mothers whose love twists into dangerous obsession, and friendships that slowly unravel into rivalry.
The characters are layered with messy emotions, their flaws driving the story into uncomfortable but addictive territory. Jabaley skillfully exposes the destructive lengths people will go to when envy, insecurity, and control take over. The plot builds steadily, mixing family drama with chilling suspense, until it’s impossible to look away.
This is one of those reads that hooks you with its shocking turns and sharp observations about relationships. Dark, unsettling, and compulsively readable Jabaley proves how dangerous obsession can become when family and friendship lines blur.

I found this character driven suspense novel to be completely addicting. The multi POVs really aided in the character development. I highly recommend this one.
This was my first book by this author, and I was thoroughly impressed!

I love ballet and I love thrillers so mix on them together is a plus for me. This book was really entertaining and had a lot of tension packed into it. You’ve got competitive dancers, controlling moms, and a lot of gossip. After a violent attack everyone is put against each other. The chapters were short which I loved and it kept me guessing which was great. I highly recommend this book!

What's Yours Is Mine by Jennifer Jabaley was an excellent thriller, read especially as Jennifer is a new author for me to get my teeth into and this book did not disappoint. It was full of twists and turns with growing tension throughout that will have you hooked from the very beginning and the ending was excellent. The characters were brilliant, especially as the story was told in multiple POVs which made me turn the pages over quickly to find out what happens next. It was messy, emotional, and very addictive, before I knew it I was on the last chapter.
I highly recommend this book. . . .Great holiday read.

🪩𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚊𝚢...Having been in the world of competitive dance for 10+ years with my daughters I knew I HAD to read this one! 👯♀️Wow! It was a juicy, drama-filled ride that captures this cutthroat world well!! I am so thankful our competition dance isn’t like this. 😆Phew. 🤤 Have yall seen dance moms because this cray world does get this ruthless though?!? 😳I can see why everyone at @thrillerbookloversthepulse has rated this one so high. Kept me entertained the whole time. 👏The audio🎧 is also on KU & I found it to be a great addition to reading the book’ 📕

I really enjoyed this book. I worried it might be about teenage drama, but it was not! I liked the multiple POV and seeing how one mom was very into the dance world and one was not into it at all. Loved watching all those dynamics play out. I couldn't put this one down!

What's Yours Is Mine is full of twists, which I loved. The first half of the book was setting up for the climax of the story. The author did an incredible job in showing the reader the personalities of each of the characters. She did a great job bringing the characters to life by allowing the reader to get an inside view of how each was thinking, feeling, and how their reactions were telling of their personalities.
From the beginning, the author's writing grabbed my attention and had me on the edge of my seat. I was intrigued by the characters and the alternating points of view. I was eager to find out what was ultimately going to lead to the resolution of the ongoing conflicts between the characters.
I respected that each character introduced served a purpose. There weren't just random characters to distract from the storyline. Most of the characters you'll be torn between liking and hating. Except for one, whom I never found any redeeming qualities-Elise.
There were times when I wanted to skip past sections of the book because I wanted so badly to know what was ultimately going to happen with the characters. Was the truth going to come out? Was Elise finally going to get what she deserved? Who caused the injury to Colette? Will past hurts be healed? All questions were answered, even if they were answered in surprising and unexpected ways.
I recommend the book to fans of thriller books because this isn't the typical thriller. It will leave you oddly satisfied in the end.

Even though the synopsis if this book didn't sound original to me, I was intrigued by the tropes this book promised to deliver.
And I thought the writing was okay, decent enough. Easy and quick to follow through, but I personally didn't care for the characters or how the execution went through. The twists can be very predicatable, if you are an avid mystery/thriller reader, and all in all, nothing surprising about this book. I don't regret reading it, but I'd say that this book might be more interesting for readers who have just begun reading mystery or thriller novels.

This book pulled me in right away! It’s messy, emotional, and addictive. I loved how this author captured the intensity of ambition and rivalry, both in the girls and their moms , and how sacrifice and competition can blur so many lines.
If you love a suspense with drama, obsession, rivalry and tension, pick this one up now!

My thoughts 💭
If you like Dance Mom’s then this book is for you but with a twist. I started this book knowing nothing about it and I ate this book up.
The story follows two teenage best friends Colette and Kate and their moms Valerie and Elsie. Elsie is obsessed with her daughter’s dance achievements while Valerie is a mom just trying to understand and reconnect with her daughter.
This book had friendly completion that turns the besties into rivals. It was very entertaining from the very beginning. The twist in this book was NOT what I thought at all but I loved it.
Highly recommend reading this book! 💖

This is a story about mothers and daughters, and the price that dreams and ambitions can extract from the dreamers.
Kate and Colette are best friends and gifted dancers, who both aspire to reach great heights. But only Collette has a determined and ambitious mother (who Kate also adores), who will do anything to see her succeed. So, when Kate unexpectedly outshines Collette, sparks are bound to fly...
A perceptive and absorbing story, this one is worth reading. The narrator also does an excellent job with the audiobook. My only gripe was the strange pronunciation of Colette's name!
The writer ties up loose ends with impressive skill and delivers a final twist that is guaranteed to please readers.

If you are a fan of Black Swan, Dance Moms, or the idea of a dance based thriller, this book is for you! Kate and Colette have been best friends since they were little, bonded at their love for dance. Kate’s mom Valerie and Colette’s mom Elise…. not so much. A young, single mom, Valerie is just trying to balance everything around her. Elise, rich, married, a former prima ballerina, wants nothing more than for Colette to be the best. But when Kate and Colette both get accepted to compete in a competition, tensions rise and accusations are made. And what’s going on in Valerie’s love life? And what really happened during Elise’s time as a prima ballerina?
This was my first ever ARC and my first Jennifer Jabaley book but it definitely won’t be my last! The plot was so interesting, dance based thrillers might be my new favorite subgenre.
I really liked all of the characters especially as the book was told in a 3-person perspective switching between Elise, Valerie, and Colette. At first it definitely took some adjusting to and keeping track of who was talking got confusing occasionally but after a few chapters I was locked in!
When Valerie felt like she was a bad mother, I really felt for her. When Colette was stressed about dance, so was I. When Elise was suspicious about other dancers, I was questioning them myself.
Overall, a really great book that any thriller reader should put on their list to buy as soon as it comes out on August 19th!
