This was a super interesting fun take on a thriller. Loved getting the perspectives of the girls who had been murdered. Easy to read and enjoyable without being too scary. Thank you to the publisher for the gifted arc

🎯 What I loved: I don't read a ton of paranormal mysteries so this was slightly out of the norm for me but I really enjoyed it. I think a lot of that stemmed from the 'paranormal' aspect being incorporated from the very beginning and not as a twist. The premise felt original and I read this in less than 2 days- it was such a page-turner! Meghan, Brecia and Skye all had really interesting back stories and defied 'victim' stereotypes. They were each strong and complex and I liked that the first half was really dedicated to building the characters as individuals before transitioning to exploring their dynamic with each other during the latter half of the book.

GO READ THIS BOOK!!!! Listen- I love thrillers. I don’t like ghosts. But I LOVED THIS!!! I will rave about this book until the day I die. It was spooky, thrilling, and kept me on the edge of my seat. This story is told through the perspective of three women (they are dead), haunting their serial killer, trying to prevent him from killing more people. It was such a unique twist that I have never read before, but it was AMAZING!! It wasn’t “paranormal”. I am terrified of that type of stuff but this wasn’t scary in that way. Since we are reading from the perspective of the ghosts, it was amusing to see them haunt this horrible murderer.
I live in UT, so it was pretty spooky to see this be set in UT/ID. I read that the author loosely based it off of Ted Bundy! 🏔️
I flew through this and now want to read all of the books by this author. I highly recommend!! Go read this book🤩 It will be in my top 5 books of the year for SURE.

A very unique plot with paranormal elements. Three girls murdered by a sadistic serial killer and their spirits trying to find their way in the afterlife. Emotional connection with all of the three girls makes it heart touching. Their dreams, hopes, and future destroyed in a moment by twisted mentality of a sick person. Alternating points of view and how each one of them dealt with the sinister situation felt very relatable and realistic. The mystery revolving around them and the killer is gripping. The climax is satisfying and justified.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC.

Andrea’s “Ask for Andrea” captivated me from the very first page, keeping me up through the night. While the narrative did evoke a sense of unease, it was the author’s great storytelling that propelled me forward, wanting more.
“Ask for Andrea” weaves a compelling tale of a serial killer and the supernatural, with a gripping narrative. Noelle Ihli tells the story from the points of view of three woman, all attacked by the same monster of a human being. These woman try to do all they can to keep him from hurting others. I really enjoyed the spin on things that the author chose to go with.
This is the second book I have read by Noelle Ihli, which I thought was good and I found this one even more enjoyable. I’m looking forward to the prequel to Ask for Andrea that Noelle Ihli has written that is due to come out in November.
Thank you to Netgalley and Dynamite Books for an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own.

This is a ghost story with a difference - three girls all murdered by the same man. A man no one suspects and that's why he's getting away with it.
When all three girls meet they decide to exact revenge. But it's not as easy as they think!
I loved the premise and enjoyed the story. It's an easy read, told through each girl and her experience.
Thanks to all for the advanced copy!

Such a fun premise! I loved the eerie setup and thought the idea was really unique. Even though it wasn’t perfect and dragged a little in places, I still enjoyed the ride.

meanwhile, this book’s premise and synopsis are so interesting and pulled me in, but i found the multiple povs and timelines confusing. and from the beginning, we already knew who the killer was. we only saw what they went through after becoming a ghost. that was it.

After seeing reviews of this book on TikTok, I decided to go in completely blind and not even read the synopsis of this book. I've loved the other books I've read by Noelle Ihli, so I hoped this wouldn't be an exception. I have to say my favorite plot line in a book is when the author brings in a paranormal aspect. I don't think I've read a book like this ever before, and it really stuck out. Only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because it was a little hard for me to follow along when every chapter was a different girl's point of view, so it just took a lot more thought process. Also those sprayed edges are gorgeous, I especially love the message written down it too!
Thank you to Netgalley, Noelle Ihli, and Kensington Publishing for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest feedback.

I really enjoyed this book and the different perspective that it was written from! I was not sure what to expect with the supernatural elements, as I am not usually a big fan of those kinds of books, but I was pleasantly surprised. This is a page turner that hooks you in and keeps your attention. The ending had me on the edge of my seat! I also appreciate that she has a short story available after you finish the book that gives you an update on the characters! I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, I will read anything by Noelle Ihli! Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for the arc in return for my honest review.

I just finished this and have to say, that I thought this story would be a bit different haha I really liked the synopsis, the storytelling, the different povs! But all together there just wasn’t the thriller vibes I was hoping for. Everything was pretty straight forward, which was disappointing.

Now I will say, when I first started this book I was like, I'm not sure if this is my kind of book purely because I was confused 🤣 which doesn't take much if I'm honest 😅 but I am so glad I continued going because I really enjoyed it.
This book is told from multiple POV of Meghan, Skye & Brecia who all have one thing in common... they were all killed by the same man. The chapters were short and snappy which is a major positive for me. The final part of this book had me feeling so on edge! I won't say more so I don't give it away but - wow!

I loved this book so much! Such a unique perspective of what happens when we die. The individual stories are captivating and how they intertwine is beautiful. Highly recommend!

This was a unique thriller that mixes ghost story vibes with a powerful revenge narrative. Instead of focusing only on suspense, it leans into the emotions of three women whose lives were cut short and how they find strength (and justice) together after death. It’s heartbreaking, empowering, and definitely different from your typical fast-paced thriller. I think I've had my fair share of ghosts, but if you’re looking for something fresh, emotional, and haunting, this one’s worth picking up.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for a digital copy of this book with its stunning cover in exchange for my honest review.

Love books by this author!
Such a gripping book for any thriller lovers.
Will read anything by this author.
Thanks Netgalley for letting me read this book for an honest review

Ask for Andrea is one of the most original and chilling thrillers I’ve read this year. The concept alone is haunting—three women, murdered by the same man, uniting in the afterlife to stop him before he claims another victim. It’s both heartbreaking and empowering, blending psychological suspense with a supernatural edge that completely worked for me.
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye are each distinct and compelling, and I loved how their voices wove together into a powerful chorus of rage, grief, and determination. Despite being dead, their story felt so alive—raw, emotional, and gripping from start to finish.
The pacing is relentless, balancing moments of devastating reflection with edge-of-your-seat suspense. The villain is terrifyingly believable, which made me root even harder for the women to bring him down.
This book is dark, gut-punching, and unforgettable—a perfect read for fans of Freida McFadden and Clémence Michallon. It’s a story that lingers long after the last page.

Great book that is written from a unique point of view. Well written and perfect for the upcoming spooky season that is upon us!

4.5 stars rounded up.
I actually went into this one totally blind only knowing it was very recommended.
I did not expect the story to be based on 3 ghosts POV. No it's not a spoiler alert if you read the blurb. I had never read a book like this before and it got me. It really did and I devoured it. We follow 3 ghosts all killed by the same man and different points. We see what the after death is called (there is a reason i call is after death and not after life). Separately they all try to stop the killer killing and help those investigating figure it out. How can they? Well not very successfully but they can influence and certainly observe in order to gain closure.
Amazing and original i thought. Quite moving and thought provoking in how the author portrayed what could happen after death.
The writing was seamless and easy to digest without being overly simplistic.
My only slight niggle hence the 4.5 is that as we follow 3 young females and killed in similar way and dumped it could sometimes take me a second or two to remind myself which ghost was which ghost.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to Kensington Publishing for this edition copy provided via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

Ask for Andrea was written from the point of view of the person who was killed. What they felt like when they knew they were dead and how they watched afterwards. It's so different than the norm that it keeps your interest right from the first page. She has also added a short story follow up on her Instagram page. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from her.
