Absolutely loved this book and the stories of the characters. Especially at the end when all is closing in and I am wrapped up in the excitement feeling one the characters yelling at the wife myself.

Such a different kind of thriller.
This follows 3 girls murdered and their ghosts try to help catch the killer so they don’t become cold cases.
Will justice be served , Will he get what he deserved or continue to kill

WOW! Did not expect that!
Three young women, Brecia, Meghan and Skye are brutally murdered by the same monster. In their death they experience an awakening of sorts where they’re actually able to move around and observe. But unable to communicate in the traditional sense with the living. However, should they get very angry a random lightbulb may mysteriously pop, or a computer screen may fizzle out.

The thing that truly ties the three together as a team, is the DESIRE, or should I say the NEED for justice. Can the three women stop the madman before he strikes again?

Told from all three perspectives, we see the courage in these women, despite the devastating outcome.

I’m constantly on the hunt for something a bit different than your average thriller. This one delivered! Completely unique and best yet…so much more than I ever expected! I finished in 2 sittings and when I wasn’t reading, all I could think about was making my way back to the book! It was simply that good!

Don’t let the “ghost” aspect scare you. The after-life is handled in such a beautiful, heart-felt way that I was fighting back tears for the girls’ determination to exact justice. Yet it still had the incredible chills from the thriller aspect of the story!
I will always look at flickering and popped lightbulbs in a completely new way.💡❣️

This is one of my top reads for this year. This one will stay with me for a very long time!

Summary
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have just one thing in common. They were all murdered by the same man.

He hunted them online, masquerading as an eligible bachelor. Then he played the perfect gentleman, a thick layer of charm and a thousand-watt smile hiding the fact that his first dates end in shallow graves.

He’s gotten away with murder three times now.

The only thing that might keep him from killing again? The women he murdered.

Meghan, Brecia, and Skye might be dead, but they’re not gone. They’ve found each other. And they won’t rest until they find a way to stop him.

Review
I LOVED ASK FOR ANDREA.

This book is fantastic! It is such a unique plot - something I truly haven’t come across before. It gave me The Lovely Bones mixed with the feelings I usually get from a Lucinda Berry book. I read the entire thing in one sitting - I was hooked and absolutely devoured it. LOVED.

Now, I love a thriller (especially a serial-killer-on-the-loose type book) but I wasn’t really sure what to expect when it hinted at the supernatural elements. I worried that this would ruin it but man, was I wrong. It brought a whole new perspective to a common theme in thriller books, and Noelle West Ihli did not disappoint.

Ask for Andrea is based on a serial killer who finds his victims on an online dating app: every single woman's worst nightmare. We even see one of the women notice an ‘Ask for Andrea’ advert in the bathroom but ‘Jimmy’ is so damn charming it does not even occur to her that this date could go wrong. I really, really felt for her and it shows how some women can be absolutely blindsided and the complete 180 that can take place on dates.

It covers so many realistic topics: how missing persons cases are treated when it’s a person of colour, incel culture, how dating app rules and regulations can be manipulated…

We also get a bit of insight into the afterlife and the completely different experiences these women have, despite beginning in the same way. I love the ways they try to communicate to save others.

I would highly recommend reading the trigger warnings because some people might find some areas quite challenging.

This was a re-read for me and it is such a fantastic book.

James Carson is a tall, dark, and handsome man and also a serial killer- who uses a dating website to lure women in and murder them. He kills three women, and each of them are bound to reality- finding the unfinished business they have is with him. They each haunt him in their own way, and when they find each other, they’ll do anything to keep him from killing again- and they won’t stop until he’s caught.

What’s amazing about this book is how deep the story actually is. This isn’t just a ghost story- it is, but it’s something so much more than that. This is a story of grief, mourning, sisterhood, family, belonging, and love. If you’ve ever been in an abusive relationship, you’ll feel the palpable instability as the story progresses, you’ll shout at the girls, you’ll will them not to get in the car, you’ll cheer, you’ll cry. This book is perfect.

Thank you to NetGalley, Dynamite Book, and Simon Maverick for the privilege of reading this for the new edition debut

I have been recommended this book a few times and it did not disappoint. The multiple POV's never got confusing, it definitely added to the story. It started off as pretty sad, but you quickly find yourself rooting for these characters who are trying to stop this horrible man all while seeking some closure for themselves in an attempt to move on. I really enjoyed this one and can't wait to read more of Noelle's books.

A Thriller Masterpiece Etched in My Memory
Without a doubt, this is one of my favorite thrillers of all time.
The characters and the story are intensely painful and heartbreaking, yet completely captivating. I couldn't put it down and was so engrossed that I've read it twice.
This is a story that made me feel both joy and sadness, and it has been etched in my memory forever. The good news is that the ending was incredibly satisfying. Noelle W. Ihli truly knows how to build a story that hooks you from beginning to end.
For this reason, she is my number one favorite author. Five stars without a doubt.

Noelle Ihli has become an auto buy for me now! This was my first book by her and I was so refreshed by the shared storyline and different approach to narrating the story. While I definitely felt the “slow burn”, it was very much worth the wait.

This book had such an interesting take on a thriller story. The different perspectives of the main characters who had been murdered was really engaging. I enjoyed seeing how the characters all intertwined. Toward the end, I had trouble putting the book down because I wanted to see how everything would shake out. I am definitely going to look up more books by this author. Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for allowing me to read this ARC.

This book grabbed me from the very first page and didn’t let go! Every chapter ended with just enough suspense to keep me saying, “Just one more…” until I realized I couldn’t put it down. The twists were perfectly timed, and I was constantly on edge wondering what would happen next.

'Ask For Andrea' was a book that I did enjoy in parts, the concept was great and it is something that I've not come across before.

The characters were strong, however I did find myself getting confused between the timelines and had to keep reminding myself which character was which.

Thank you for the ARC, I really appreciate having the opportunity to read and review.

Ask for Andrea is a gripping and emotionally layered novel that offers a completely fresh take on what happens after we die. The author weaves a suspenseful, heartfelt story that explores justice, survival, and the quiet strength it takes to persevere. At its core, it’s also a powerful reflection on the impact we have on others—how our lives intersect, echo, and matter. Through themes of family, friendship (both new and old), and the mysteries of the afterlife, the author crafts a story that is sad, joyful, tense, and ultimately hopeful. It’s beautifully written and impossible to put down—one of those rare books that makes you think and feel deeply long after you’ve turned the last page.
I absolutely loved this book and thoroughly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher and author for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A beautifully heartbreaking story that completely drew me in. The multiple POVs were woven together so seamlessly, such a brilliant choice by the author. The suspense was gripping; I found myself holding my breath every chapter. The ending was absolutely perfect, and I'm so excited to dive into the short story for even more. This read gave me the lovely bones vibe in the best way possible. Truly an amazing book, I highly recommend it.

Speechless! I’m unsure of what I was expecting but it was certainly not this. Noelle has a unique writing style that I love & always enjoy. This captivating story took me through many emotions as this story unfolded. When the huntee gets haunted, there’s emotional turmoil as you wonder where this story is heading.

Brecia, Meghan & Skye were 3 of serial k!ller’s James Carson victims & they will stop at nothing to ensure that he does not kill again. James lures his victims on a dating app called Matchstrike & these young ladies are determined to try and save his future victims so they won’t suffer the same fate. I enjoyed hearing all 3 of their POVs throughout the story.

I enjoyed how this is author touched on a few underlying sensitive topics, such as how missing persons cases are handled differently based on age & race. Overall a solid read, that I would definitely recommend for fans of suspense thrillers with a touch of paranormal. I will never look at blue Kia’s the same 🥵. There’s a short epilogue “The River” that is downloadable from this authors instagram. Thank you Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy. All opinions are my own.

There simple words. That's it. Safety

This book. Nothing like I expected.
But amazing.

The perspective was different. Yet still a thriller in every aspect.
Every page of this book I was hoping for peace.

We think we are being cautious. We think that we will know when something is off.

Listen to that little voice talking to you. Trust your gut. Ask for Andrea.

A four star read
