I really enjoyed this book! I felt like I was watching a mix between a thriller movie and a true crime documentary. You get point of views from different victims which I loved. This book kept me interested and entertained for sure!

Ask for Andrea is a little different from a typical thriller. I wasn’t sure if I would like it because I don’t typically like books with ghosts in them. I did enjoy it, but there were parts that kinda dragged out. I do love this author and have read several of her books. This one was not my favorite of hers, but it was still interesting and I kept wanting to read it to the end to find out what happened.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

I loved this thriller. It was unlike anything I had ever read before. Definitely a Ted Bundy type of killer vibe with POVs from the different victims and their continued stories after their deaths. I loved the exploration of afterlife and memories. This was my second Noelle Ihili book and both were a 5 star read for me. This review was my honest review with special thank you to the publisher, Kensington Publisher for a free copy of the book.

This book had an interesting plot. Something I had never seen in a thriller before. It was a good book and it kept me interested in finding out what happened to the characters. There were a couple of parts that were predictable, but for the most part, it was good. I would suggest it to fellow readers.

This book was an absolute delight to read! It had everything I look for — engaging writing, memorable characters, and a story that stayed with me long after I turned the last page. The author’s voice is distinct and compelling, making it easy to get lost in the world they created, no matter the genre.
I'm incredibly grateful to the publisher for the early copy. It was such a joy to read this in advance, and I can’t wait for more readers to experience it. Highly recommend!

Three women, Meghan, Brecia, and Skye, were all murdered by the same man who preyed on them online. Despite his charming facade, he has a history of killing his first dates.
This book is the reason why I never bother reading the blurb - I just dive right in based on the cover and the fact that one of my favorite authors wrote it. And let me tell you, I was not disappointed! The surprise factor and unexpected atmosphere had me hooked from the start.
I can't stop thinking about this book - it was clever, suspenseful, and incredibly well-written. The characters were so likable, and the writing style was just fantastic. While we may think that certain things could happen in real life, reading about them still gave me goosebumps. I was thoroughly impressed!
Despite the sadness of the story, I loved how the girls stuck together and sought revenge on the perpetrator. It really warmed my heart in a way. Girl power at its finest!
The setting was vividly described, and the details about what happened to the body had me wondering if the author had witnessed an animal dissection or spoken to medical students. Those little details were actually quite fascinating!
If you're into fast-paced reads with a hint of paranormal activity, unexpected friendships, and twisted situations that you just can't put down, then this book is must-read. Trust me, you'll be thinking about it long after you've finished. I connected with this book on a deep level! I know there was an edition released a few years back, but this exclusive edition is definitely worth checking out. Give it a read someday - you won't regret it!
Thank you, Kensington, for the digital ARC copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I wasn’t too sure how the author was going to play out this book because I wasn’t a fan of the concept of ghosts coming back for their killer. It just seemed too unrealistic to me. But I was wrong. Each girl had a story to tell and the author did a good job at it. It was a very different take given I typically only read books from the murders or victims perspective while still alive, obviously. However, I thought some points of the book dragged on for a while and I didn’t like that. Some parts also seemed to mesh together too much and I was getting confused with which girl was which.

three women are murdered by the same man; they find each other in the afterlife and they won't rest until they find a way to stop their killer.

I really enjoyed this! I don't normally love a paranormal book but this one gripped me.
Meghan, Brecia, and Skye have one thing in common: they were all lured, charmed, and murdered by the same man. He hunts online, posing as the perfect date—handsome, attentive, deadly.
The story follows the trio of women as they navigate their own deaths. Eventually they find each other in the afterlife. And they’re not done fighting. Because he’s still out there—and they’re determined to stop him before he kills again.
Brecia, Skye and Meghan each have different reactions to their murders but for each of them their sorrow and frustration is palpable - and relatable. This was so well done.
However, I do wish they had more distinguished voices. It's easy to lose track of who is who - and whose perspective you're reading especially early on.
Overall a harrowing commentary on women's safety today. Whether you're in a public space or at home, whether someone appears like a nice stranger or is known to you, whether you live free or cautiously - the world can be a dangerous place for any woman.
Started with slow/steady pacing which picks up towards the end.

I have just finished reading a novel by Author Noelle W. Ihli called Ask foe Andrea.
This is the first book in the Ask for Andrea Series, and the first book that I have read by this Author.
She is an American Author that has written many books and has a good following.
Ask for Andrea is a very intriguing story, which is also a little spooky, haunting and also a psychological thriller.
I found that I was engaged in this story right away and enjoyed the character immensely.
It starts off with a killing that takes place, after one of the main characters made a connection from an online dating ap.
This was really a shocking story that was told in a very clever way.
I would suggest to readers that are looking for a good thriller of a book to pick this one up, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
Thank You to NetGalley, Author Alissa Lee and Kensington Publishing for my advanced copy to read and review.

3.5 ⭐️
I really liked the premise of Noelle W. Ihli’s ASK FOR ANDREA. While I haven’t read MY MURDER, the plots seem a bit similar.
In this novel, Brecia, Meghan, and Skye have been murdered by the same killer. They are also haunting the area as spirits. For the most part, they traverse like you normally would; the only difference is that they aren’t seen.
It was very difficult for me to identify the three female main characters from one another. Skye was from El Salvador, but that was the only difference I could find. Their personalities and dialogue were nearly identical to one another. By the end of the novel, I was still having this problem. I really feel the characterization could have been improved.
I felt the novel was well-paced until it got to the end. That felt rather rushed.
I think this novel would be best for plot-driven thriller readers that want a one-sit read. Character-driven readers might want to skip this one.

Chilling, haunting, dark, gripping, thrilling, shocking, and hard to put down, Noelle W. Ihli delivered with Ask for Andrea! I had a hard time putting this book down and felt for Meghan, Brecia, and Skye who were all murdered by a man they each met online. It all began with a dating website where the women were legitimately looking to meet someone, and he was hunting. He described himself as being a charming and charismatic bachelor. He lied; he is a cold-blooded killer!
This book is uniquely told from the viewpoints of the three murdered women, Meghan, Brecia, and Skye. They find each other after their horrific murders and ban together, waiting, watching, observing, and trying to warn the living of the deranged man who took their lives. I rooted for the living including family members who want answers and Detective Domanski. I had my fingers crossed the entire time that justice would be served.
This was such a compelling, fast paced page turner that had me reading deep into the night. I felt for the women and how their lives were tragically cut short by a vicious killer. Their POVs were harrowing and emotion evoking. I loved the tension, the dread, the mounting danger, and the emotions that this captivating book evoked.
I was glued to the pages of this well written, well thought out, and riveting book.

Ask for Andrea is a thriller involving three young women who come to find they’ve been murdered by the same “charming” man. I loved the premise of this book, and found it to have a very strong beginning and end. I did get mixed up quite a few times with the middle, as I kept confusing 2 of the 3 girls stories’. They even had similar final resting spots. which led to me having a hard time following along. Overall, I enjoyed the ghostly elements as well as the tension woven throughout the storyline.

I love when books come full circle—and Ask for Andrea nails that in the final stretch. At first, the title feels like a throwaway line. It’s mentioned once and then fades... but when it comes back around, it matters, and the way it ties everything together hit me hard.
This isn’t a fast-paced thriller from the jump. It takes its time weaving together the stories of three missing women and one woman slowly realizing she’s in danger. The pacing dragged for me in the middle—I was interested, but not gripped. Still, something kept me reading. And I’m glad I did.
The tension builds like a pressure cooker once the pieces start falling into place. I felt the fear and urgency, especially in the final chapters. When the moment came where one woman had to act fast to save herself and her kids, I was holding my breath. I gasped. I rooted for her. I felt everything.
The supernatural element adds a haunting layer without overpowering the realism. These women aren’t just forgotten—they’re present, and they matter. That part gave me chills.
Ask for Andrea is for readers who don’t mind a slower pace but want a thriller with depth, heart, and a reminder that women often save each other—sometimes in ways we can’t even see.

A gripping and thought-provoking thriller! Ask for Andrea by Noelle W. Ihli is a chilling and emotionally resonant thriller that delves into the lives of three women—Brecia, Meghan, and Skye—who were all victims of the same predator. The narrative unfolds from their perspectives, offering a unique and haunting exploration of their experiences and the aftermath of their deaths. Noelle's writing is compelling, seamlessly alternating between the voices of the three women, each with distinct personalities and backgrounds. This approach not only deepens character development but also enhances the suspense, keeping readers engaged throughout.
The novel's pacing is well-balanced, maintaining tension without overwhelming the reader. Ask for Andrea is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers that offer both suspense and emotional depth. Thank you, NetGalley!

I received this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book. The author had a very emphathetic style towards the victims and this book really de- glamourized story of serial killer and concentrated on their victems. It was written with a female gaze, and just concentrated on the voice of the victims. The story was able to touch me and made me feel deeply connected with the women. I loved how it didn't go into the mindframe of the killer at all, and left him exposted as the sick bastard he is.

Thank you NetGalley for supplying this ARC read for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this read, it stood out from the typical thrillers I’ve picked up in the past, and it was refreshing to experience something different.
The ending had me on the edge of my seat with my heart racing, and I’m excited to explore the additional content shared on Ihli’s Instagram.
The story was deeply emotional, filling me with sorrow and heartbreak for these young women. I found myself experiencing their pain and struggles alongside them.
My only critique is that the three POVs often blended together. I had trouble distinguishing between the characters at times, especially when reading mid-chapter.
That said, I’m definitely interested in reading more from this author, I really enjoyed their storytelling.

This was my least favourite book from Noelle W Ihili. I did enjoy the short chapters and the fast pace but I found it confusing with the 3 different point of views as they were similar too so it took me a while to figure out who was who. I do love a different character point of view too. I was disappointed with the ending and how it finished also. I would still recommend this book as what might not be my cup of tea may be somebody elses and this author is one of my favourites.

What a great book this was. I’d held off for a while due to the reviews and descriptions discussing supernatural elements. But I’m so glad I finally got reading. This is not your typical supernatural thriller.
Noelle builds such wonderful characters and achieves such empathy for their stories. I haven’t read a bad book of hers and this one nails the brief. If you’ve not read it yet, do yourself a favour and jump on the train.
Thank you to the author, NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this special edition in advance.
