I can absolutely see why Ask for Andrea has received so much praise—it’s a bold and creative take on the supernatural thriller genre, and I admire Noelle West Ihli’s ambition in tackling such difficult subject matter with a unique twist. The supernatural element is especially well done, which is no easy feat, and the structure of the story was compelling enough to keep me reading.

That said, the book wasn’t quite for me. While I appreciated the originality, parts of it felt a bit cheesy and didn’t land as emotionally or atmospherically as I’d hoped. Still, I think fans of twisty, paranormal thrillers will find a lot to love here.

Thank you Net galley and Kensington for this ARC.

This is a serial killer,/ghost story/revenge thriller that is both lonely and suspenseful. A new twist on the paranormal. I found it interesting and a quick read.

I wasn't a huge fan of the ghost aspect but overall, it was a good story and kept my attention. It was a quick read.

This thrilling novel was a heartbreaker. I found myself talking out loud to the innocent victims, trying to warn them. The characters were so well-written that they felt like real people. The antagonist was truly despicable!

Three girls one murderer, their ghosts haunting him. How's that for a great concept!
The writing is superb, the story fast paced and well crafted, the characters likable.

In the first half of the book we track each ghost and their story.
Around the second half an unexpected twist changes everything and the atmosphere turns rather eerie.
What started as an attractive cosy now becomes a fullblown psychological thriller. Will the girls get their revenge?

Ask for Andrea is a unique pageturner that pulled my heartstrings and put a smile on my face.

Thank you Netgalley and Kensington Publishing for the ARC.

Ask for Andre by Neolla West Ihi

It’s a psychological thriller novel, what happens when there is a man who goes from woman to woman, making sure he leaves them with nothing, having them killed without any remorse.

He has the perfect cover-up, the perfect life, a man no one can suspect, yet the only thing that would shatter him is the ghosts of the victims he has murdered.

I enjoyed every bit of this novel, reading through the stories of these women, reading through their lives after death, it was heartbreaking and agonizing, I can go on and on but I would not want to spoil the novel for anyone.

I would rate this a 10/10 and I would love it if everyone would give it a read

I flew through this thriller! I went into knowing nothing about this book and I’m glad I went in blind. It was a totally different perspective than any other book I’ve read. Would definitely recommend!

Ask For Andrea is a very unique storyline following the events of three girls who fall prey to a serial killer who poses as a singleton on a dating website.

This one gripped me from the beginning, as it is written from the perspective of the murdered girls. We are basically following their ghosts as they come to terms with what has happened and they witness the killer plan his next victim, or they watch the local police force and family members try to piece together the series of events that led to their deaths.

What I liked about it is the triple perspective. They don't all start off as ghosts so having the different views was interesting, and the pace of the story was nice and even.

What I didn't like was that the voices of the girls all sounded similar, to the point that I wrote a note to pinpoint the timeline of their murders.

Will definitely look into this authors backlist

This thriller hooked me from the first page and didn’t let go. Told from the perspective of three murder victims—Brecia, Meghan, and Skye—who return as ghosts to stop their killer, Ask for Andrea blends paranormal elements with a haunting justice narrative in an original and emotionally resonant way.

The novel explores grief, revenge, and sisterhood from beyond the grave. Each ghost has her own distinct approach to the afterlife: one is relentless, another paralyzed by fear, and the third seeking connection with her family—which keeps the multiple POV structure fresh and compelling. At about 270 pages, this is a swift, binge‑worthy read. The pacing is sharp and the emotional stakes are high—readers frequently noted its “page‑turning” momentum and engaging paranormal twist on the serial‑killer trope.

This book was okay. I give it 3 stars. I usually dig into a book without a clue as to what it's about. The cover and title catches my eye. I don't feel the title is the best for this story. I understand it l but I feel another title would be better.
The story is paranormal which is not my cup of tea. It is slow-paced and no major twists and turns throughout. It is an interesting perspective and may be great for those who love the paranormal genre.
I'll recommend to others.
Thanks to the publishers for an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for my personal opinion.

I’ve heard mixed reviews due to this being a ghost story, but I really enjoyed this. Their time after death was frustrating, lonely, and became found family in a way. I felt their struggles and the thrill of bad things to come as I was reading. Brecia had my favorite chapters and I loved the use of the title in the book 🥹

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Publishing for this ARC. Based on the photos the sprayed edges are so vibrant and beautiful!

The novel explores themes of justice, vengeance, and female solidarity. It’s a story about women protecting other women, even after death. It also serves as a chilling commentary on the dangers of modern dating and the terrifying reality that monsters often look just like the person next door.

What sets Ask for Andrea apart is its innovative point of view. Telling the story through the eyes of the victims creates a unique and deeply personal narrative. We experience their fear, their rage, and their unwavering determination firsthand. The mechanics of their ghostly existence are well-defined, creating clear stakes and limitations that drive the suspense. Can they make a light flicker? Can they influence a dream? These small acts become monumental efforts in their fight for justice.

The pacing is relentless, and the short, punchy chapters from each of the three perspectives keep the story moving at a breakneck speed. Ihli's writing is sharp and evocative, pulling the reader into this haunting world and not letting go until the final, satisfying conclusion.

Ask for Andrea is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers who are looking for something fresh and different. It’s a dark, inventive, and ultimately empowering story of survival and retribution that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the final page. With a clever premise and unforgettable characters, this novel cements Noelle W. Ihli as a powerful voice in the thriller genre.

I absolutely devoured this book! I finished it in less than 12 hours and could not put it down. The storyline was amazing and written perfectly. I like that it was a little creepy and the characters ended up working together from the dual POV chapters. A great story with a happy ending (mostly)!

I have had this on my TBR forever but went into it blind, and was completely blown away. It was not at all what I was expecting and I loved it so much. I could not put it down.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ 4.5 Stars – Haunting, Heartbreaking, and Righteously Angry

Ask for Andrea isn’t your typical thriller—it’s a ghost story with teeth. Noelle W. Ihli gives the murdered women their voices back, and they are done being polite.

Meghan, Brecia, and Skye were hunted and silenced, but now? They’ve found each other. And they’re not done fighting.

💀 True crime vibes meets supernatural vengeance
🎯 Sharp commentary on violence, victim-blaming, and survival
🔥 Female rage you can feel
🖤 Bonus: the stenciled edges? Obsessed.

this was powerful, raw, and unforgettable.

It’s not about justice. It’s about refusing to be forgotten.

Thank you Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for this ecopy.

I went in completely blind and I'm so grateful I did. Noelle did a phenomenal job of intertwining timelines and lives that make you think the entire time and when the storylines start to intersect it was done so beautifully your heart just twists as much as your mind with the characters that are written.

At the beginning my mind was so confused trying to keep up with the different storylines and timelines but as the plot progresses you become so familiar with each character that their story FEELS real to you.

I'm terrified of ghosts and try to stay away from any books that involve them but this one makes it less scary and more hopeful. I will definitely be reading more of Noelle W. Ihli in the future because her writing is absolutely phenomenal.

Wow!!!!!
I am not one who likes to read paranormal or books of ghosts but I have to say Noelle hit this one out of the park!

Ask for Andrea is an amazing story about murder and how it affects family…….the family of the person murdering others and the families of the ones who were murdered.

I can’t say enough about this book. It was amazingly written and will draw you in from start to finish.
