Have I read this book 5 times? Yes. Will I read another 5 times? Also yes! To say I love this book is an understatement it is AMAZING!!!!! I love the way Noelle writes this was no different! And I highly urge you to read the river after it brings it all together and not me crying at the end! I am excited for the next book in this series to come out!

I've seen a few rave reviews for this psychological thriller and was eager to read it.

The three main characters Brecia , Meghan and Skye all have one thing in common, they were all murdered by James Carson. Their spirits won't rest until they find a way to stop him killing again.

Don't be put off by the supernatural element, this is a superb, highly original psychological thriller, in which the three main characters happen to be dead.

The chapters are told from each of the women's perspectives, starting with how they met James, how he murdered them, and the shock of realising they were dead. The murders took place over two years, and the use of the timeline is very clever.

The characters are excellent as each copes with coming to terms with their spirit limbo in different ways. There are some poignant reflections on loss and family but these never gets in the way of the story.

The pace is fast, the plot is tense, with plenty of threat. It's faultless.

I can't recommend this book highly enough. One of the very best and most original psychological thrillers I've read this year.

I read Ask For Andrea when it first came out, I’m thrilled to see its continued success and popularity, and delighted it’s being honoured with a Deluxe edition.

Well done Noelle!

Intense in a good way. Going on a journey with them through the investigation was great and also frustrating as you just want him to get caught.

Ask for Andrea is the code phrase used in any public space by a woman needing assistance from a bad date. The same charming, handsome man murders these three young women, and they return as ghosts who keep trying to stop him. The story moves through their murders to the police investigation to the victims managing to keep him from murdering his family to escape. The story is built in threads, the individual stories will weave together to build an excellent read. The end is well done.

This was a great book with a ton of suspense. Enjoyed the writing and the creepiness. Loved the ghost story intertwined. Excellent.

Noelle W. Ihili is an author you definitely want to read! The best thing to do is grab her books without knowing what you’re getting into—you won’t be disappointed.

“Ask for Andrea” is a great book that will keep you on the edge of your seat. You’ll be right along with the murdered girls, wanting to yell at the other characters to listen to them. Even though they’re like ghosts, they can’t hear them either.

“A Story of a Serial Killer” is another must-read. It’s about a serial killer who kills young girls, and how they try to help get him caught. If you want a book that you won’t want to put down, this is definitely a must-read!

The book didn’t fully hit for me but overall it was an okay read. The pacing of the book did not work well for me. I didn’t care for the characters. But the overall concept of the book was interesting i just wish I could’ve gotten a little more to make it better for me,

What a unique take on a crime thriller! I loved it. It’s dark and sinister and gave me nightmares but I really really enjoyed it.

Just WOW! Intense to the max. I think I held my breath for most of this book! Shades of The Lovely Bones as victims haunt their killer and try to stop him before they can move on. Many really tense moments and strong emotions. One heck of a read!

Oh my goodness this book keeps you right on the edge of your seat right from the first chapter. With multiple view points and over the course of different time frames. Everything comes back around and answers are provided. Very hard to put this book down, the author keeps you questioning when the other shoe will drop..

Such a great book! Couldn’t put this down. Finished in one day! Must read The River to find out more about Alice! Thank you, Noelle, for allowing me to read this ARC. Will definitely recommend!!!

Three dead women. One charming psychopath. And a revenge plan that doesn’t stop just because you’ve stopped breathing.

Ask for Andrea flips the typical psychological thriller on its head. Told from the perspectives of Meghan, Brecia, and Skye; three women murdered by the same man, it’s a supernatural twist on true crime tropes that’s as gutting as it is empowering.
They're not helpless victims; they're angry, ghostly avengers with unfinished business.

What I Loved:
* The alternating POVs were distinct and emotional, each woman a fully realised person rather than just another “true crime case.”
* The blend of psychological suspense and supernatural justice was so satisfying—think The Lovely Bones with a revenge arc.
* That slow-burn dread of knowing exactly what the villain is capable of... and watching him think he’s still safe.

This was my first read by Noelle W. Ihli and it most definitely won't be my last!

This is one of those thrillers that makes you angry, hopeful, and totally engrossed from page one. If you love your suspense with a ghostly twist and justice from beyond the grave, don’t miss this one.

This ended up being not the book for me as a reader but I think others will enjoy it more. You never know when to take things literally or not in a synopsis but in this case, you do. The haunting aspect isn’t for me personally.

I couldn’t put down this great thriller. I loved the multi-point of view chapters. Pick this one up for a quick, engrossing thrill.

I enjoyed this. I think that telling the story from the victims perspectives was a really interesting take and a really exciting way to tell the story, I almost wish this had been longer to get more into detail, like I wish there was a James perspective so that the reader could hear his inner most thoughts. I loved all three girls and April, and their kids and I am so glad everyone found peace in their own way. This was a really interesting read.

I cannot recommend this book enough!! My favourite read so far this year. The author is building such a compelling story and interesting characters, and the concept - the ghosts of murder victims coming to terms with their death, their “life” as a ghost, the continuing actions of the serial killer who killed them (I obviously don’t want to give too much away) - is just brilliant.

I was so emotionally invested in the characters, each is written with such a unique voice, so perfectly crafted.

But the suspense at the end!! When I tell you I couldn’t put this book down as I reached the end. I was up till 1am reading! And I am not kidding - my watch alerted me to detecting “an increased heart rate while at rest” as the suspense ramped up.

Absolutely brilliant. As I said cannot recommend enough.

First, thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of Ihli's latest book.

I was immediately intrigued by the way the story was told. I felt that it was unique and fresh. I liked the different point of views, and the story was both stressful but satisfying. The ending was well done and I absolutely would recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read.

I gave this book 5 stars. It was an easy read. The story revolves around a man who uses a dating app to meet women. However, he drugs, rapes, and kills the women he encounters through the app. Three of the murdered women unite to stop him from harming others. One of these women, whom he killed, follows him on his dates in an attempt to prevent him from killing the women he is seeing.

I have been super into Noelle's books since you can binge these in a day! The premise of three murdered women who make it their mission to get their murderer convicted really intrigued me, and gave me " Sixth Sense" vibes . I loved listening to this one on audio and spent an entire day doing so! While I don't think this is the best thriller I have ever read, I enjoyed it :)

This is a thriller told by ghosts. Brecia and Meghan met the handsome and charming James Carson through a dating app, Skye met him at the coffee shop where she made him hot chocolates. All three of them never get home again. But their ghosts remain and haunting James is what they do. It is a race against time when the police finally start looking into one of the murders and James feels the walls closing in.

There are three different perspectives throughout the book. At times, I had to read on sometimes before I knew who, exactly, was speaking. The women are all likable. The men in this book don't come off as well. There's a male police officer who seems to not take evidence seriously and, of course, James.

In case we need a reminder, this book shows that evil can look like anyone, and you never know who you're getting in a car with. There are dangers lurking where you least expect them. Even handsome, polite men with nice families can be your worst nightmare. And if that handsome, polite man is your partner? Wake up and believe the evidence.

Something I liked that the author did was explaining how the ghosts interacted with the world. It helped with the many questions a reader might have: can they talk to people? can they go through walls? can they touch anything? Ghosts have to have rules, too.

My thanks to NetGalley and Tor for the ERC in exchange for an honest review.
