A chilling, original thriller where the dead refuse to stay silent.
Ask for Andrea delivers a uniquely haunting take on revenge and justice. Noelle spins the story of Meghan, Brecia, and Skye—three women who share a tragic bond: they were each lured, charmed, and ultimately murdered by the same man. He hides behind a polished facade, using dating apps and empty promises to hunt his victims. But what he doesn't realize is that death hasn’t silenced them. It's only made them stronger. Bound together in the afterlife, Meghan, Brecia, and Skye refuse to rest until they find a way to expose their killer and stop him before he strikes again. Through grief, rage, and fierce determination, they fight back in a way he could never have seen coming.
What I like :-
1 Powerful voice: Noelle gives the victims agency, allowing them to reclaim their stories—and their power—in a way that feels both devastating and empowering.
2 Unique premise: A supernatural twist on the thriller genre that feels fresh and utterly compelling.
3 Unflinching emotion: The book doesn’t shy away from the pain of betrayal and loss but balances it with a fierce, burning hope for justice.
Overall, Ask for Andrea is a raw, powerful, and deeply satisfying read about vengeance, sisterhood, and reclaiming one’s voice—even from beyond the grave. Noelle creates a thriller that lingers long after the final page.

This book has a very unique POV that I haven't come across before. It follows a woman living her afterlife, this supernatural aspect was so refreshing to find in a thriller style novel. This book has your feeling for the main character, hating the villain and feeling overjoyed with the ending. Just what you want in a thriller.
This story follows the victims of a serial killer in the afterlife, they look on whilst he continues to hunt for more victims. I did feel that the narrative of the investigators and family members could have been touched on more but overall a very good story.
This book had a very unique concept and the story flowed spectacularly so I would definitely recommend this one.

I haven't read all of Noelle W Ihli's other books yet they are on my TBR but I will definitely be reaching for them now!

A very unique concept for a thriller! Three women have been murdered by the same man and so they haunt him sort of situation.

We get to see each woman's different POV, each telling her own story of how she met her killer (via a dating app) and how she died. They then haunt him, helping the police to solve their murders.

I did struggle with the different POVs at times, I was struggling to been track of who was who (but that is just a thing when there are multiple POVs. I was just getting confused with their own timelines but also how their timelines fit together.

I did find that this book dragged a bit (but I have found that to be a thing with this author( the other book I've read from her also dragged, making me lose interest at times).

Thanks to NetGalley for the e-ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review! My Goodreads review is up and my TikTok (Zoe_Lipman) review will be up at the end of the month with my monthly reading wrap-up.

Ask for Andrea, by Noelle W. Ihli, is a paranormal thriller about three murder victims who come together to seek punishment for their murderer. This is a definite page-turner that will keep you up reading until the end. I loved that it was told from the victims' perspective. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an ARC of the ebook, which I read and reviewed. All opinions are my own.

This dark thriller grabbed me from the first page and did not let go. The concept? So unique—three women, all victims of the same serial killer, come together to stop him from hurting anyone else. It's chilling and brilliantly executed.

It’s a quick read, but the tension? Constant. I found myself holding my breath more than once, and even now, I’m still thinking about this story. The writing is sharp, the pacing is perfect, and the perspective of the victims gave this thriller such a powerful, haunting edge.

If you’re in the mood for a quick, intense, and unforgettable dark thriller—Ask for Andrea needs to be on your list.

I would say this is one of the best books I have ever read! There is one part in this that is just an absolutely heart pounding part and I was amazed a writer could make me have the reactions I did to it. It’s sad and shocking and I felt all the feelings. I would recommend this to everybody, Noelle W Ihli is one of the greatest thriller suspense writers ever. Thank you for access to this, I hope the UK has the sprayed edge copies as I’ll be first in line to purchase one.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.

I enjoyed the writing style of this book. I like having multiple narrators, and this one was no exception. The victims as spirits being the novel's narrators, was really interesting and something new that I have seen in a thriller.

What I really enjoyed about this thriller was having women come together to try to take down this male serial killer. It is really commentary on how women keep each other safe and knowing men and their abilities to make women uncomfortable. I think the female solidarity is strong.

The tense writing was strong. She really handles the supernatural element well. Even though we are seeing the POV of victim's that have died, each of their sections were tense. It was tense reading about how they found their bodies and tried to establish justice for themselves. Furthermore, I enjoyed reading about April, the wife of the antagonist, and her realizing her husband is a monster. It's also from the help of those 3 female main characters coming together and bringing justice and awareness to who he is.

You will not be disappointed by the ending either.

The book was fast-paced, and he word and sentence choices helped create an atmosphere of suspense and discomfort. Overall, I highly enjoyed this story and will be reading more books from Noelle W. Ihli.

Wow, what a book! I sped through this one, but at the same time, was sad that it was going to end. Obviously, no one wants three young women to die, but it was a genius idea to make the book from their point of view after their death(s). As a reader, you have compassion for Brecia, Skye and Meghan as they attempt to find justice for their murders from the other side. I don't like giving too much away, but I found the author's explanation of what many people might view as "heaven" to be very unique and comforting, and was happy to know that's where our heroines would end up after handling their unfinished business.... Also, it's been a bit since I've so strongly disliked an antagonist as much as I disliked James/Jimmy/Jamie or whatever else he wanted to call himself. I wanted his story to end horribly.... and it seems like it did, so I was pleased. I've not read anything by Noelle Ihli before, but I'll be sure to look for future titles. Those is a book that will stick with you long after you finish, and I'll absolutely be recommending it to our readers.

This was such a good book and it was written from such a neat perspective. It really makes you question what is waiting for you on the other side and how well you really know someone. It was very well written and haunting. It stays with you long after reading it.

This book put a spotlight on the dangers of online dating. It follows 3 women in the afterlife who were murdered by a man they met on a dating website. This book gives you all of the feels. Noelle W. Ihli does a great job of building up suspense throughout the story. I enjoyed reading this book and gave it 4 stars only because I felt there wasn't a lot of action and I'm not a huge fan of ghosts, but I do feel the author did a great job putting a spotlight on the dangers of online dating and I did enjoy the ending.

Ask for Andrea is a unique plot following the aftermath of three girls who were k!lled by a Serial K!ller. They all meet in the after life, and are determined to find a way to stop him from killing again.. The book cycles between the first-person POV of each of the ghosts: Brecia, Meghan, and Skye, from their initial deaths, to their discovery of their ghostly abilities, and to the very final outcome. This book does have some trigger warnings, and these, should be read before starting this book. Luckily, another woman had these three souls looking out for her.

The tension was palpable in the second half-and you may end up shedding a tear or two.

Overall, I really enjoyed reading this book, and loved the ghostly feel!

A paranormal thriller? Three women murdered by the same man and not ready to move on try everything they can to help solve their murders so he doesn't hurt anyone else.
I feel like for me this one is a 3.5-4 star read really. It has multi POVs (each of our victims), its dark at times, it is pretty steady paced until the end when it feels like it just slows down.
I overall enjoyed the read but was expecting more from it I think. Nothing shocked me, there was no big crazy scene, no twist. Like I was sure there would be a twist with the Ask for Andrea at the bar sign, but no. I liked seeing the investigation through different lenses though, that is pretty unique. I think the story line is good and has some nice ideas about the afterlife and moving on. I would read more from this author in the future.

When 3 women are killed by the same man, it becomes their unfinished business to bring him to justice.

This is not my normal read. I’m not usually one to be drawn to supernatural/paranormal books or anything with ghosts but I’ve seen so many people raving about this one and I had to read it. I’m glad I did because I finished it in a day because I wanted to know what happened next. It was really good. I’ll definitely be checking out more of her stuff.

Meghan, Brecia, and Skye were all killed by the same man, James, after meeting him on a dating app and going on a date. Now they all want revenge. It is told by the perspective of each of the ghosts. I thought it was a cool concept, but to me it wasn’t executed in a thrilling enough way. I could hardly even keep the girls straight. All their personalities blended together, and leading up to them all meeting really dragged on & was boring to me.
I will say, the ending involving the killer’s wife was incredible and kept me on my toes, so much tension and hope for a great resolution!

What a different approach for a thriller! I enjoyed every minute of this…from the moment of learning who the killer was to the exact second of the killer’s capture! I’m a huge fan of the author’s style of writing! Can’t wait to read the next one!!!

This book was so different from what I usually read and I loved it. Reading about 3 ghosts out for revenge was everything that I could have asked for.

This maybe weird but I love when the name of the book has meaning to the story and this one delivered. I just find it so satisfying when that happens.

Something else I really liked was that it wasn’t just about the girls being killed, we also got to see some girls realize something was wrong and got away for him.

Overall I found this to be a good read even for someone who doesn’t normally do thrillers.

4.75⭐️ This book is getting such high ratings for a multitude of reasons, but the two major ones are this: I ignored several of my responsibilities to read this, and it made me cry—hard. I felt shell-shocked after finishing it.

I am not really a supernatural thriller person at all. I find it silly and unrealistic since I know what happens after death. That being said, this book didn’t have that cheesy supernatural feel to it—instead, it was a thriller that had me glued to every page and feeling every emotion along with the characters. At first I wished the girls could’ve messed more directly with James’ life, but as the story went on, I think the impact they had on him was still satisfying.

I’m really enjoying this author’s books and plan on reading more!

*SPOILER*

I wish we could’ve seen James dying and coming to face the girls at some point after his prison sentence. Life in prison is a cruel fate, but I wish we had seen him suffer a bit more as well.

3.5 stars

I was immediately intrigued by the set up for this thriller. Three women working together to stop the man that murdered each of them?! What?! lol

Ask for Andrea hits the ground running and I didn't want to stop once I started. It was eerie at first to hear each woman's story and how their final moments were spent, but it was also empowering to see them move forward and work toward justice. The momentum did stall a bit in the middle as all the pieces moved into place, but overall this was an action packed ride. That last quarter or so was especially tension filled! I'm looking forward to reading more books by the author.

I both read and listened to the audiobook of Ask for Andrea and the narration by Allison Delaney was fantastic! She voiced Meghan, Brecia and Skye wonderfully and gave each their own distinct personality. At times I forgot that the audiobook only had 1 narrator. Definitely recommend listening to this fast paced thriller!
