In this the third book in the series Lettie is forced to take things easy due to complications in her pregnancy, so she moves in with Brodie in his small cottage. He arranges with a friend, Joe, to move in to look after the farm, meanwhile Lettie has also arranged for a friend of a friend, Skye, to also look after the farm as well. Unfortunately the two had already met and they hadn't made the best impression of each other. Joe is a local fireman missing his grandfather, who had passed away, Skye is trying to track down her father, of whom she only knows that he had met her mother on the island, who hadn't given her any more information before she sadly died apart from a notebook.
Again you needn't have read the previous two books in the series, but you would miss some of the back stories. In addition to the will they / won't they romance there is also the search for Skye's father with very minimal information. There is also the wonderful setting in Jersey, supporting friends and the farm as the background to the story. Well worth reading if you enjoy such romance, as I do.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

In the third installment of the Hollyhock Farm series, Love Blooms at Hollyhock Farm, Georgina Troy returns readers to the picturesque island of Jersey for another heartwarming tale of love and self-discovery. This time, the story centers on firefighter Joe and newcomer Skye, who find themselves co-managing the charming Hollyhock Farm. Joe seeks refuge from his crowded home life, while Skye arrives with personal quests of her own. Their initial clashes gradually give way to mutual understanding and affection, set against the farm’s idyllic backdrop. The evolving relationship between Joe and Skye is portrayed with authenticity, capturing the nuances of two individuals navigating unforeseen circumstances. While the plot follows a familiar romantic trajectory, the engaging characters and serene setting provide a comforting and enjoyable reading experience. This is a delightful addition to the series, offering a gentle exploration of new beginnings and the unexpected paths to finding one’s place and partner.

This book was cute, I enjoyed Lettie and Brodie both asking for help on the farm to both Skye and Joe respectively.

It was a cute read and I enjoyed it. 3.5 stars, there was some predictable moments but overall I liked the tropes involved.

Is so good to be back at Hollyhock farm again!

With Lettie pregnant and needing to take a break from active farm life, she and Brodie seek help from friends, but when they both ask different people at the same time, two people arrive to help!
Joe and Skye aren’t too sure of each other as they put their options of each other aside for support their friends.
What follows is a story of friendship, of kindness, of helping each other out, of being there for one another.
There’s lots of different stories within this one, Joe and his family, Skye and hers, keeping in touch with Lettie and of course the farm.

The author describes everything so well, so will see the farm, the landscape, the island all in your minds eye. You will visit the sights along side the characters and feel you have visited these places yourself.

Yes, you could say it’s a little predictable, boy meets girl… etc etc, but there are so many other things going on within the story that it stays fresh and appeals to you throughout. What I really liked was all the characters, they are all really likeable and grow on you throughout. I felt the ending was really good, especially when Joe’s mum sees them at the end of the book.

All in all another lovely read from this author, and such a stunning cover too. 4.5 stars

georgina troy has a new book and i get to read it. i cannot tell you the joy this brings me. she is beyond talented. she is beyond a queen of her genre and once again i feel so lucky that authors exist, that they find their craft and that they are so wonderfully talented. i have no idea how they can create worlds that we as readers simply adore. and Georgina does it like no other. she has her own unique place in the book world. and i feel like she will always steal my heart with her books. i want to read on and often i cant read fast enough for want to take it all in right this minute! her book series always reach my fave lists. and each are just as good as the last. for me she never wavers and how utterly spellbinding these books are around my soul. yes yes i might sound like im going overboard. but i cannot tell you how important books have been in my life. so i am truly appreciative and in wander at just how brilliant these authors are and just how thankful i am for the world of books.

i was so glad to e back to the farm. the last book was just as good as the first. i was so excited to see if we could get back to the brother and sister team and see how their lives had moved on with the partners. the last book had the brother and the wellness retreat. the first covered more of Letties story and finding her feet at the farm.
this time Lettie needs help. she is pregnant. enter Joe. who im glad has come back to find his own love story. though we dont know that of course since the woman in question happens to be someone who he hasnt had the best start with . skye has also come to help. but what shes actually seeking is her father. but the night these two first meet is when JOe the firefighter doesn't like the fact SKye didnt do as she was told in a fire situation at the hotel!
but of course the story goes on when these two find they are going to have to work as a team, for Lettie if nothing else. and what comes next is of course the beautiful workings of Georginas talent at writing such wonderful stories.
you all must read these books. then go back and catch up on her others books and series. you will not regret stepping into this world. and you will heal or feel captured for each of her books you read.
please let there be more from this family and the farm. perhaps in the next book the little girl will need a Nanny. or we can have a wedding at the farm or just more of Zac and Melodys journey. i dont mind. as long as we get to come back and hopefully visit all these characters once again.

Love blooms in the most unexpected places…
When Lettie is due to give birth very soon she realises she needs to employ a helper to take over the day to day feeding/manual labour for her farm, but she is reluctant to do anything until Joe offers to help out and take the job during his holiday from work, at the same time Skye also arrives to do the same (neither are too happy to see each other after an incident the night before) but they make thing work.
Skye has a reason for coming to Jersey, but will she find everything she is looking for? Meanwhile, Skye and Joe work side by side sorting out the farm and in their spare time Joe gives her the guided tour of the island showing Skye all the best sights and places to eat, introducing her to his friends and family/colleagues.
What happens next, only time will tell …..

With such series of different sets of the characters, I'm always looking forward to see which couple would be the feature of the new books.

Joe the firefighter! Book 2 had him fighting for the affection of the visitor to Hollyhock farm, and finally he got to stay in the farm in this instalment. With the farm's idyllic surroundings, who wouldn't fall in love!?

The continuation of Lettie's story as a side plot made the book all the better. Perhaps the next book would see baby Isla as a toddler! The ending of this book was slightly abrupt though, I would have enjoyed an epilogue of the couple on their travels.

Thanks Netgalley for the ARC!

I requested this book just after I started the first and sadly realised that these books were not for me
I wish I got along with the writing style, but since I did not appreciate the settings, I could not finish it.
I think fans of the author will better enjoy this book.

A delightful romance of love blooming on a farm that two strangers offer to manage when the owner has to be on bed rest. Joe lives on the island where the farm is located. Skye traveled to the island to search for the father she never knew. Joe helps her with the search as he knows just about everyone. While they search and tend to the farm, they find the company more than enjoyable.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This is book three of The Hollyhock Farm Series and the first book I have read in this series, I would say it can be a standalone as I did not feel as though I missed too much. Though I loved this one and will be going back to read the previous two books. Lettie owns Hollyhock farm and it is all good but she needs to step back for a but as she is going to be a mum soon. But then she finds two people to help her out at the farm but they don't get off on the right foot with each other. Will they be able to work out their differences as they both know how much the farm means to Lettie and would hate to let her down. I enjoyed reading about the farm aspects of it and the animals, I liked all the characters and the story felt warm and uplifting to me, I feel as though I want to go and help Lettie out and work on her farm for her too. This is my first book by Georgina and I look forward to reading more by her. It was a comfort read for me.

Back to visit Hollyhock Farm in Jersey. Lettie is now pregnant and is struggling with the workload in the farm. Firefighter Joe and new resident Skye step up to keep the farm running giving Lettie time to rest.
Joe and Skye have already met while Joe was on a job. They havnt got off to a great start but with different yet similar outlooks to romance they try to navigate the farms chores.
Brilliant book and was lovely to visit the farm again looking forward to another visit soon.
