We're so far into this series it's a little hard to review without spoilers! Poseidon and Icarus fall in love in this captive romance that works because while Icarus is the captive, Poseidon needs nothing more than to be sexually submissive to this man who is seducing him after always carrying the world on his shoulders. This easily could have been a weird power dynamic situation, but I think it really works.

Meanwhile, shenanigans are happening in the larger city as some of the pieces are put in place for a final political showdown. The romance in this one was great, but the macro-plot is also very solid. I can't believe we only have two books left in the series! I'm on the edge of my seat to see how the next book resolves what's going on between Zeus and Hera. The audio narration is really good too, I felt like it nailed the characters and the sexy vibe between them. I received an audio review copy via NetGalley, all opinions are my own.

Another Dark Olympus novel from Katee Robert. They are always spicy and involve the love story of two olympians. The world is on the brink of war and the dark story of love and sex is everything. Such a good addition to this series and it makes me want the next book to come out already.
