Sorry to report that most of these were too difficult for me! But I'm excited to keep working on these brainteasers and I'll definitely be gifting copies to my puzzle loving friends for upcoming birthdays and holidays!

Thanks to Scribner and NetGalley for the ARC!

I'm a huge fan of Jeopardy, never miss an episode. And I am very fond of the job that the new host, Ken Jennings, is doing. So I thought that this book, offered to me as an ARC by NetGalley, would be a home run.
The book is broken down into sets of five Jeopardy clues. After you answer these, you have to deduce the "Kennection", or what the answers all have in common. Sounds simple, right? It turns out not be simple at all. The questions seem like something that might be asked in a Tournament of Champions game, they're pretty hard. Then to expound on those answers to come up with the "Kennection" is, to me, extremely hard.
I wish the editors had arranged the puzzles into Easy, Difficult, and Almost Impossible rankings. As it is published, I could not answer the majority of the questions, let alone come up with the "Kennection".
I believe that this book will be devoured by the very upper echelon of Jeopardy fans. People like Brad Rutter, James Holhauzen, etc. I think it will leave the rest of us feeling rather dumb. Come on, Ken, release a new version with answers for the rest of us!

The premise of Kennections is simple though the puzzles are not. Fans of brain teasers and trivia will absolutely love this. I wish the book was divided a bit more by difficulty level and would be more accessible to those who need a little easier trivia!

This was a fun book/game, but some of the questions were too hard for me. I also couldn't find the kennection for every single one. It was entertaining though and really made me think!

Thank you to Ken Jennings, Scribner, and NetGalley for the ARC!
