Such a cute manga! The story is about a vampire that decides to visit a bathhouse in the human realm. The characters are very charming (my favorite duo was Umenosuke and Pequeño!). The art style was beautiful yet showed a lot of humor. A lovely slice of life fantasy read!

When I saw the cover of this book it cracked me up, it was cute and funny and I just had to pick it up and it didn’t disappoint.

This is a very cute and charming manga, following Luka Edelmondt Finsternis a very good-looking vampire who has woken up on the floor with a serious hangover, the cure the Full Moon Baths in the human world, just what he needs: a change of pace that will rejuvenate him, however, Sakura the bathhouse’s eldest son, has enough to worry about between being short staffed and looking after his younger brother, he doesn’t need a random vampire getting in the way.

If you’re looking for a light-hearted and amusing manga filled with vampires, friendship and shenanigans this book is for you.

This was such a sweet light hearted manga! The two characters were so enjoyable and I loved how they bickered back and forth with each other. The art style is also really gorgeous and we are treated with lots of eye candy ;)

Even though it's complete in one volume, I hope they end up continuing the series and what other silly shenanigans they get up to!

I was really drawn in by the artwork and the words "vampire" and "bathhouse" had me sold. This is a cute, fun, quick and entertaining read. I liked the dynamic between the characters but something felt a little incomplete in their connection.

I went in worried this world be boring or silly and came out loving it! I want to read a lot more from this creator and these characters. I recommend checking it out, it was so funny, thank you for the early copy!

What an wonderful time I had reading this manga. A Vampire in the Bathhouse introduces us two realms: the human and the demon one, from where Luka Finsternis is. A vampire with great magic, he's also hungover and exhausted, so when he hears about a miracle bathhouse, the Full Moon Bath, he decides to pay a visit to it and the human world. There, he meets Sakura and his little brother, Ume. And what follows is the most non-problematic, calm and sweet slices of life I've read, even though it is not my usual genre. But, I was advertised vampires and promised some good laughs, and I jump straight to the pool (or should i say, the bath).

I was looking for something relaxing, enjoyable and funny, and i knew I would find it in this manga. Crafting compelling relationships between all types of characters of all ages, Niko Izuki shows us the power of community through the bathhouse and commercial district. And, also, how important it is to have such bonds so everybody can thrive with support and love.

The developing relationship between Luka and Sakura is the focal point of the story, but also how Luka ends up being a pillar on Ume's care and rising alongside Sakura. The push and pull between the two adults is equal parts comical and equal parts seriousness, reaching a point of mutual trust with which they face any problem that comes their way. And Ume and Pequeño (Luka's familiar) were so cute together too!!
Every secondary character that got introduce both in the human and the demon realm were remarkable and so lovable.
All the characters were so well designed, too, being totally differentiable from each other. Which is always a point in favor of the mangaka/drawer, in my opinion.

My final point is that, A Vampire in the Bathhouse is a cozy, funny and heartwarming story about family and making new connections, creating a strong and supporting community. Came for the vampires, stayed for the emotional found family themes😉

A Vampire in the Bathhouse is a sweet, funny, and heartwarming manga that immediately won me over with its humor and beautiful art style.

The story follows a vampire/demon who sees a bathhouse on TV and decides to travel to the human world to experience it for himself. He ends up staying there, leading to plenty of amusing moments as he navigates a world that is new to him.

The beginning isn’t the most logical—why exactly does he decide to stay at the bathhouse, and why does Sakura react so casually?—but that didn’t really bother me since the manga doesn’t take itself too seriously. The pacing is fast, and the character dynamics are fun. I especially loved the adorable side characters, like Sakura’s little brother and the flying demon familiar.
There are plenty of moments that made me smile, as the differences between the demon and human worlds create some truly hilarious situations. Despite the lighthearted tone, the story even introduces a bit of tension in the second half, and the way the found family trope is explored really touched my heart.

If you're looking for a cozy, funny, and heartwarming read, this manga is definitely worth checking out!

This was absolutely adorable! The characters were so sweet and really added to the cozy atmosphere. I love a manga with low stakes even when they seem high i initially. I also loved that it’s seemingly quite a slow burn between the two male leads!

I absolutely loved this manga, it’s really beautiful! The story feels incredibly adorable, and I enjoyed the whole found family theme woven into it. The fantasy elements were a great touch, especially with the protagonist being a vampire with special powers.

Every character introduced was truly lovable, and they all managed to win my heart. The balance between the heartwarming moments and the fantasy aspects made this a delightful read from start to finish.

A Vampire in the Bathhouse is a cute, no stress, fluffy series of stories about Luka, a flamboyant, hungover vampire, and Sakura, the overworked eldest son trying to run the family's bathhouse. I picked it up because I wanted something quick that wouldn't be too heavy, and this definitely delivered. And as an added bonus, Niko Izuki's art is pure eye candy to look at.

this was so heartwarming and fun! the artwork is gorgeous and i loved the characters and the banter between luka and sakura.
the whole story is contained in one volume and it was the perfect manga for a cozy feel-good read! i would love to read more from this mangaka.

A lovely lighthearted story for a cozy read. I read it in one go, because it was too cute.
The illustrations are amazing and the story is well written. I wish the ending was a bit longer especially the part where Sakura was taken to the other realm. I think it would have been fun to see that. The two brothers have a lovely bond and our cocky vampire seems to fit in right away, he is lovely to the little one and enjoys irritating Sakura.
The biting is barely shown and not sexualized which makes it actually really cute. Our couple is definitely an old married one, Sakura is just not completely aware of it yet.
Really loved this one.

A Vampire in the Bathhouse is a light-hearted, funny manga about exactly what the title says. A vampire travels from the demon world into the human world and discovers bath houses, community, and the found family that takes him in.

The art style is really nice, and the story itself could be classified as a cozy fantasy. The found family aspect is the strength of this story. I stuck around to watch the bonds between the characters strengthen, especially Sakura and his brother Ume and Ume and Luka’s familiar.

I expected there to be a bit more romance since the first section has a good amount of fanservice and flirtation between Luka and Sakura, but I found that plot underdeveloped and sort of tossed aside as if the pseudo-romantic magical bond between them was a joke. Some of the side characters like Luka’s cousin were also underutilized and really had no point, but most of the characters were funny or charming or had interesting character designs to make them compelling.

Overall I enjoyed this, and I like that it’s a complete story in one volume rather than a long, drawn out series. It’s a quick hit of comfy vibes.

A funny and entertaining little manga story. I enjoyed the banter between Luka and Sakura and the artwork is fantastic! I am giving this a three-star rating because I felt that the story lacked "substance" and in the beginning, it was a little confusing to work out who was actually talking to who in the story. Overall, I did enjoy it!

Once upon a time "Spirited Away" altered my brain chemistry and now I'm automatically drawn to every story that promises a somewhat magical bathhouse time, so here I am. I got a wholesome manga about a vampire who decides on a whim to go to a human bathhouse for some healing and relaxation, and he finds it in form of the family that owns the bathhouse. The story is truly nothing groundbreaking, but it was some cute fun and I enjoyed reading it a lot. There are some classic manga moments, like the summer festival or the sports event, and mixed with the demon/vampire theme it makes for an interesting enough story. The art is nice too, with the vampires being especially fancy.

It's marketed as "a full story in one volume", but I think it becomes pretty clear that this was supposed to be a series that got cancelled early on. There was a cliffhanger in the final chapter that was then quickly resolved in the extra chapter at the very end. It works well enough as a single volume, and I'm not sure if this would have held my attention until a second volume anyway, so I'm not too mad about it.

Incredibly wholesome and wildly chaotic, this is such a sweet manga!

The whole story is contained in this one volume, so its great if you're not looking to commit to a series (though I wouldn't mind at all if more volumes for this story were created haha).

I recommend checking this out for a fun and quick read!

This was such a cute manga! I really liked the dynamic between Sakura and Luka. I thought it was funny trying to see Luka and the other demons try to fit in to the human world. It felt like there could be more done with this story and I'd definitely read more of this!

Nestled in the pages of this manga is a wonderful slide of life about a vampire helping out at a bath house.

While I love that this started as a one shot which led to a whole book full of short chapters about the adventures that go on in the bath house.

I do hope there is a volume two with more side stories!

Absolutely loved it! The characters were all fun and quirky in their own way, and just the overly dramatic scenes that made it so much funnier. I wish this was more then just a standalone Manga, I want to know if Lucas and Sakura ever get together, and just left me wanting so much more, even another volume or two. I would have definitely binged more of it!

This was really fun. I started giggling on page two and I really didn't stop the whole time. Luka is so rude but he means so well you can't help but love him 😅

I could easily read several more stories about these characters.
