The character development and plot was so thrilling and the story was really good.
The pace of the storyline kept me on the edge of my seat and welcoming back characters from The Perfect Marriage to continue the story. Awesome

I have read many books by this author, and this is another great book to add to her list. I had a hard time getting into the book and really figuring out who all the characters were, but I really enjoyed it once I got about 1/3 through the book. The author gave us such a suspenseful book and I did not know what was going to happen next, I love how two storylines collided in the end.

This book is a sequel to The Perfect Marriage. This takes Sarah through her second marriage with a husband that is out to get her. I didn’t remember much from the first book, and I didn’t care for this book, but it was well written. I can see why this would be a fan favorite.

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for allowing me to read and review this book.

An enjoyable thriller with good character development and excellent narration. I enjoyed this sequel more than "The Perfect Marriage."

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Sarah and Bob Miller’s marriage is on the brink of collapse, and the fallout is bound to be disastrous. When Sarah finally asks for a divorce, it marks the beginning of a perilous journey for both of them. Bob knows the dark truths Sarah has kept hidden, and he’s fully aware of her dangerous capabilities.
For those who haven’t yet read The Perfect Marriage, be warned: spoilers ahead. Sarah has already committed one unspeakable crime— she framed her first husband, Adam, for the murder of his mistress, only to later defend him in court. Bob, despite being asked to dispose of the incriminating evidence (the murder weapon), chose to keep it instead, knowing full well what Sarah was capable of.
As the tension between Sarah and Bob escalates, the question remains: can they both survive the devastating consequences of their past actions, or will they both become victims of their own ruthless decisions?
The Perfect Divorce takes everything readers loved about The Perfect Marriage and amplifies it, proving that sequels can sometimes outshine their predecessors. Jeneva Rose has crafted another unforgettable thriller, and I can’t wait to see what she has in store next.

The audio of this has added so much to the story and experience. I found it easier to keep track of characters when I was hearing their voices.

Thanks for the advanced audio of The Perfect Divorce. It was incredible and loved all the twists of turns of this story. It kept me guessing to the end which I just love. The audio voices were perfect and they added to the overall book with the edgy voices when it was needed. Fabulous production! It set the tone beautifully for Jeneva Rose's new book and highly recommend it to friends.

I went into this book hoping it would follow a different formula from the first. While it was well written, it ended up sticking closely to the same structure as the original. It felt like a repeat of the first story, just with a few new characters. I did enjoy reading it, but the predictability was disappointing. I kept waiting for a twist or surprise that never really came. The main character was a few steps ahead which I felt didn’t help with the shock factor. Overall, I liked it, but it would’ve been much stronger with a more original or unexpected twist.

Hmmm, who do I feel sorry for here in this sequel to Jeneva Rose’s Bestselling novel The Perfect Marriage? Is it Bob Miller, the cheating husband? Is it Sarah Morgan, the attorney for whom this must seem like deja vous. She experienced infidelity (along with a touch of murder) with her first husband, Adam over a decade ago. Or is it the helpless women who have been caught in the net of deceit?
Who do I not feel sorry for? Me! This excellent and propulsive book by Rose was honestly better than the original. I listened to the immersive audio narrated by a full cast of Narrated by Mozahn Navabi, J.S. Arquin, Adam Lazarre- White, Brittany Pressley, Andi Arndt, and Andrew Eiden. I know it was riveting because the first time I looked down at my phone, I was almost at 98%.
Many thanks to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing- Audiobooks for the advance copy. All opinions are my own.

4.5 STARS

The Perfect Divorce is the perfect follow-up to The Perfect Marriage! It’s an intense ride from start to finish, picking up seamlessly from the first book and providing more background to the story. I liked the first book, but this one was even better—more refined, more suspenseful, and utterly gripping. The plot is tightly woven and relentlessly paced, making it nearly impossible to put down. As a sequel, it exceeds expectations with higher stakes and deeper character development. If you're looking for a page-turner you won’t regret diving into, this is it.

Also, hoping Jeneva Rose has more books coming because I'm a fan!

The Perfect Divorce by Jeneva Rose is a thrilling suspense novel that follows the aftermath of a complicated marriage. The story centers on Sarah Morgan, a former high-powered attorney, whose life takes a dramatic turn when she discovers her current husband's infidelity, leading to a messy divorce. Rose crafts a plot filled with twists and turns, weaving together themes of betrayal, deception, and the reopening of past events. The book keeps you guessing as the characters navigate a high-stakes game of cat and mouse.

The audiobook edition enhances the suspense with a strong narration. A full cast of narrators, including Andi Arndt, Andrew Eiden, and Adam Lazarre-White, bring the complex characters and their conflicting perspectives to life. The multiple narrators add depth and intrigue to the listening experience, making it a truly engaging thriller.

WOW! Finishing The Perfect Divorce feIt like stepping off of a roller coaster I didn't want to end. My head is still spinning from the twists and turns in this novel. Jeneva Rose is officialy an author I'll be following from now on. Even though I hadn't read her first novel The Perfect Marriage beforehand, I had no trouble following along in this story. This novel stood strong for me on its own with enough cues to enjoy Rose's second (hopefully there will be another) in the series. I won't spoil a thing, but if you're looking for a fast-paced, unpredictable, page-turning story this one will absolutely keep you hooked to the end.

This book was so amazing. It had me on the edge of my set tge whole. I was constantly guessing who the killer was and how it was all going to play out. I am so looking forward to her next book. I loved how this picked up years later after the first one. Nothing was lost.

The Perfect Divorce was a really fun time. I will say that it didn't quite have (for me!) the same zing as the first one, but all the same, it was good to be in this 'world' with familiar characters again!

I had a good time!

3.5/5.0

The Perfect Divorce, the second book in Jenny Rose’s Perfect series, is a gripping and dark tale of betrayal and revenge. I listened to it on audio, with multiple narrators that brought the story to life. This sequel to ‘The Perfect Marriage’ kept me guessing until the end.

2.5⭐️

It just didn't work for me. There was no real plot twist or super dramatic anything. The pacing was a bit too slow for me and I was highly considering DNFing at like 70%.

It just felt like I was pushing myself to read it to get to the big reveal and then there wasn't any reveal that truly shocked me.

Spice: 4: open door scenes, crass sexual language, innuendos.

Language: Heavy cussing, Lord's name in vain, crass dialogue.

Warnings: Murder,kidnappings, abuse

Thanks to NetGalley and Blackstone Publishing for the digital copy of this audiobook; I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Shout out to the author, Jeneva Rose, who is originally from Wisconsin!

Mad props to Blackstone Publishing for a full cast of narrators, including the always excellent Brittany Pressley; the various voices helped because of the multiple POV. I had not read the first book in this series, The Perfect Marriage, but this book can stand on its own. I was brought quickly up-to-speed that Sarah, the main character, was a very manipulative person.

There are too many plot twists to count but suffice it to say you could guess the trajectory of the story and be very wrong. Weaving all these POV and subplots together was done perfectly. It’s been a long time since I’ve thoroughly been stumped on the direction of a book. Jeneva Rose has conducted a master class of writing a psychological thriller that keeps you guessing.

I’d definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good mystery/thriller!

Thank you to Blackstone Publishing an Netgalley for the free arc in exchange for an honest review.

This book was somehow the perfect thrillers and yet….it left no impact. This is not because it’s not well written, because it is, but because even the most shocking twists are almost expected within the genre. For the majority often title nothin unique seems to happen but, while it is incredibly rushed, the large twist at the end was shocking.

Most of the book simply fades into the background other than the ending and lacks the punch of the first novel.

Thank you for the #gifted ALC @blackstonepublishing Obviously I had to purchase a physical copy for my shelves. Solid 4.5

I knew this was going to be amazing when near the beginning of the book, Sarah’s assistant says “Why are men?” Full stop. No explanation needed. This is a frequently used phrase with some friends. You know who you are!

I loved The Perfect Marriage, but dare I say, I might have loved this one even more. I’m a sucker for a story full of unreliable, unlikeable characters, and this book delivers on that in the best way.

The story follows Sarah who in The Perfect Marriage represents her husband when he is accused of killing his mistress. He has now been executed after his conviction, and Sarah has moved on with life. She remarries fellow attorney Bob Miller and they have a daughter together. When she catches Bob cheating on her, things unravel quickly. Sarah does not mess around and files for divorce, wanting full custody of their daughter, Summer. Bob isn’t letting her win. What follows is a twisted battle, with Bob going to disturbing lengths to turn the tables. He puts all his efforts into trying to get Sarah convicted of Kelly Summers’ murder, the woman her ex was convicted of killing..

Among all of this, women are disappearing who have a connection to Bob. The ex-sheriff, who arrested Adam for his mistress’ murder, hits someone with his car, attempts suicide in jail, and then ends up murdered himself. This book is filled with chaos and I am here for it!

I could not stop with this one and there were twists and turns right up until the very end.

The audio narration comprised of Mozahn Navabi, J.S. Arquin, Adam Lazarre- White, Brittany Pressley, Andi Arndt, and Andrew Eiden, did an absolutely amazing job of bringing Sarah, Bob and others to life.
