I love how personable and relatable the author's voice is. She really makes me, the reader, believe in myself, and in my power and my strengths. There are so many misconceptions about how impactful introverts can be, so she clears them up and makes it clear how we introverts can use our strengths to our advantage. She makes me realize that I have so much to offer, and that there is so much untapped potential if we want to build a brand. And I recognize her green heart emoji!
I love how she makes you shift your perspective and mindset, and gives tools to change your future.

Introverts, You are not alone!
From the very first page, I felt seen. As an introvert and a writer working on my own book, this felt like exactly what I needed. It reminded me that I can put myself out there while still honoring my need to recharge and retreat.
The metaphor comparing introverts to evolving Pokémon was such a fun and relatable way to show how we grow more confident without losing who we are. I kept nodding along as I read through the list of introvert traits, it was like checking boxes on a personality checklist I didn’t know I needed. One of my favorite parts was the section on personal branding. It made something that often feels overwhelming seem much more approachable. Goldie’s story about her lime green hair really stood out! This was a beautiful example of how something authentic can become a meaningful connection point. I also loved learning that Marilyn Monroe was an introvert, it changed the way I looked at her story and reminded me that quiet strength is still strength.
Another highlight was the reminder that not being constantly visible doesn’t make us less engaging. The quote, “It’s hard to hide in person, but online, you can choose what to share and when,” really stuck with me. It perfectly captured why the internet can be a safe space for introverts.
Overall, this book made me feel more confident as both an introvert and a creative. The chapter tips were helpful, the stories were relatable, and it left me feeling less alone in a world that often feels too loud. Highly recommended for introverts, creators, or anyone learning to show up on their own terms.

I was drawn in to Personal Branding for Introverts right away. This book truly is the gateway to making your journey as an entrepreneur a success as an introvert. With it's extreme step by step guides and exorcises that help you really elevate yourself, but not get overwhelmed so easily, this book, will truly help you not only elevate your career, but create a lasting legacy.
Everything in this book is so detailed, right down to the exercises that really make you feel like you're gaining headway.
What's really cool about this book is the tone it's written in. There wasn't too much personal detail, but you really feel the author's personality. It's like talking with a close friend over coffee. This is how you know it's authentically written from someone's heart, with pure intent. All of the personal stories within this book really make introverts feel like they're not alone and truly understood.
The Advice given in this book isn't outlandish, rather practical, so practical that it really does seem manageable if you follow the steps, to create wild success while not forcing yourself into being an extrovert.
I would definitely recommend this book for my introvert friends who have goals that require you to be an extrovert!

Goldie Chan beautifully put into words what it means to be an introvert and how to use it to your advantage. She used her own real experiences and even those of her friends to supplement the book which made it charming and relatable.
I love being an introvert, but I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never been insecure about it. People in my life have seen that trait in me and made me feel less because of it. As I’ve grown into adulthood, I’ve learned to appreciate it even more, and found it to be an asset of mine.
I’ve just recently started branding myself both on social media and on freelancing websites, and I’ve had a hard time with putting my true self out there. Having the chance to read this advanced reader copy gave me the push I needed to be more confident in myself and consistent in my branding.

I can't wait to Ideal Day Dream and create my perfect day after reading this early copy of the book! Reading it felt like reading about myself—it was almost too real. It helped explain so much about why I think, act, or feel a certain way, especially in environments where being loud is seen as the default. There are so many takeaways, but as a fellow introvert, I know I’ll need time to process everything and figure out when I’m ready to start building my own personal brand.
What stood out to me, compared to other self-help or branding books, was how authentic it felt. Goldie Chan shares moments from her own experience, including interactions with both well-known and more personal figures, which gave the book a surprising level of honesty and depth.
If you’re someone who prefers listening over speaking, this book offers a quiet boost of confidence and practical ways to express yourself—without having to be someone you’re not. Honestly, I think Goldie may have just created the blueprint for introverts everywhere, and I’m grateful for that.

As a person who has always been hanging on a pendulum, swinging between the desire to go out there and seize the day, and the fear that comes just thinking about it, this book might have saved me.
It has beautifully covered different aspects of introversion, making it so easy to accept yourself for who you are rather than fitting yourself into some mould. Being myself from a medical profession, I love how she has explained the mental state of an introvert with scientific facts.
In such a futuristic era, it is crucial for every individual to present himself out there, and what better way could possibly there be, than to make it with a ‘brand’ of your own. If you are thinking what a brand is, and how could you make one, this book is your answer to that.
It will help you with actual examples from author’s personal life, and people like Dr. Marie, Taylor Swift (yes, you heard me right, she is an introvert like us) and so many others.
It also aligns with the current reading style of today’s trend, informative and practical, yet easy to understand.
As a person, who would rather read fiction, this book actually grasped my attention and I would for sure recommend it, not only to the introverts, but to the extroverts too, because who doesn’t need a brand!

Inspiring is the word that comes to my mind when I think of Goldie's book 'Personal Branding for Introverts'. Life has taught me that the right books and the right people enter your life when you need them the most.
As a deaf, introverted freelance writer who is very close to earning the top-rated badge, this book felt like a revelation. The biggest problem we freelancers face is constantly hunting for clients and work. And like Goldie said in her book, before she developed her brand, she was manually applying for jobs, and I guess that's where I am.
I just wish I had read this book five years ago. Because I completely neglected branding myself on social media and LinkedIn. I imagine how many clients and opportunities I missed because I wasn't aware of what Chan has shared in this book. It's a must-read for all introverts who have been immensely blessed with extraordinary talent yet are too shy to market their skills.

Although this book definitely touches upon the topics most branding books discuss it was nice to see it from the introvert perspective. It was also helpful that the book highlights the strengths introverts possess when using social media when sharing their work. The book provides a nice approach to networking and how to remain in a good headspace when collaborating with others. I wish it had been a bit more detailed but this is a good place to start for anyone hoping to launch a product or show their talents online. 3.5 stars
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc

I enjoyed Personal Branding for Introverts as it offered new perspectives on navigating what can be a mind-numbing digital landscape with all of the influencers, social princesses and attention seekers that clog our feeds in every scrolling moment.
This book offers a different approach – focusing on cultivating genuine connections and becoming a connector rather than simply seeking influence. It highlighted the power of authenticity, thoughtful engagement, and finding ways to participate that feel natural. This book serves as a helpful guide for those wanting to use their online platforms to build meaningful relationships and contribute in a way that feels genuine and purposeful.

just a general personal branding book. no new frameworks are introduced, plus with the acceleration of AI, the author does not get the momentum to include it in his writing.

The book is exactly as the title suggests: a quick-start guide to personal branding for introverts. Chan begins with a simple analysis of her audience, helping readers determine exactly where they fall on the introversion-extroversion scale, but then pivots toward personal mission, vision, and ultimately branding. Although the book contains nothing revolutionary (even the examples given are relatively well-known introvert success stories), young professionals or introverts without prior exposure to the content will find Chan’s advice a useful starting point for their own personal branding journey.

I found this book to be very interesting. As an introvert, the title alone drew me in, but I immediately found myself asking "What is Personal Branding?" I wished that was answer earlier in the book, like first thing. The difference between personal branding and reputation. And with that defined, then explain what Introversion is followed by how to accomplish personal branding as an introvert. That being said, aside from a good number of LinkedIn mentions (which is understandable give the author's background with the platform), the book does a good job of providing details on how to build a personal brand while maintain one's energy level, which is vital to introverts. If you're introverted and the topic is something you want to learn more about, I think you'll find at least a few things useful in this book, if not more.
