I never watched Vanderpump Rules until recently when Scandavol happened and I need to binge watch all the season to get the back story behind this guilty pleasure reality show. Scheana has never been my favorite and is a bit wishy washy, but I think she is a genuine person and speaks from the heart which ames it difficult to dislike her. Her book is written with the same openess, except for the missing chapter :(. It was a good easy read, especially for ones like me who are now fans fo the shows older seasons. Thank you to the publisher, Scheana, and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book.

This is a must-read for any Vanderpump Rules fan. Scheana has always been divisive on the show, and I don't think she's often been intentionally cruel or unkind - she's just so often on the wrong side of history. Ultimately, it was fun to get a glimpse into her head, and the highlights of this book are her discussing her struggles with OCD and how it's worsened in connection with becoming a mother. But otherwise, she's keeping things light and seems to think she's offering explanations for her behavior throughout the seasons of the show, but never really gives us quite enough to sink our teeth into.

Scheana has always been my favorite on VPR, and this book is everything I would have expected from her. It’s probably best for die-hard VPR fans. I wish her well on her future endeavors, and many book sales. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

For everyone giving this book a negative review because of the author name-dropping and being self-centered…guys, what did you expect? Scheana’s gotta Scheana and that’s why we love her! This book was pretty much what I thought it would be, and there’s nothing wrong with that! I have always been on team Scheana and I think she is a good person at heart. The book was fairly juicy, not written terribly, BUT I was pissed at the publisher for leaving out the entire chapter about Brock cheating! Dick move! I get that they wanted to keep it a secret but like 🫠

It was very much Scheana… The name dropping and taking on other peoples drama was very on brand. Nothing new if you have followed her on VPR or social media.

VPR is my guilty pleasure, and that's probably the only reason this book resonated with me at all. If you are a VPR fan, you will certainly appreciate all the little callbacks and explanations - and, spoiler alert, everything you probably always thought about Scheana, in terms of her relationship with LVP, and her status as producer favorite/informer is true. There was an omitted Chapter 16 that promises the real, whole truth, and I'm more than a little annoyed that this review copy omitted it - but, if it really is salacious enough, I'm sure that the media will report on it when the book is released. This book made me feel more favorably toward Scheana than I ever have, and certainly did a lot to paint her in a positive light. Ultimately, she's a human just like everyone else, and she's made some mistakes and some silly decisions, and I appreciated that she owned them with this memoir. Solid read, if only for the VPR super fans.
