Just like the first Oakwood Bay Series, Ellie doesn't miss! Siena is the perfect combo of prickly and endearing with her sense of nostalgia and love for her family paired with Brooks 'reformed bad boy turned gold retriever energy.' This book had me laughing at their quick banter and swooning for Brooks and his sweet, over the top gestures. I rooted for Brooks from the very first page as he begin his comeback journey after an injury. He only got better and better as the book went on-one of my favorite MMC in such a long time! I love the Oakwood universe and in addition to Brooks and Siena, the 'side' characters within their story were amazing. I cannot wait to see where Ellie takes the next one.
-fake dating
-sports romance
-he falls first
Huge thanks to Atria for allowing me to read this early through Netgalley! I couldn't put it down!

a sweet little silly romance will do me in everytime. ms wilde, im now a football romance girly thanks to you.
i fell for Brooks & Siena from the moment they met. fake dating WHO?? they def weren’t fooling me and they def weren’t fooling each other bc that chemistry was tooooo hot!! this book tackled “finding yourself” in two very different ways with two very different people but it blended so well for the perfect story. it was so fast paced yet nothing felt rushed and i loved the sense of found family with characters from book 1 as well.
give me Parker & Summer nowwwwww. im already knowing he will be my #1.

Devoured this book in 2 days. I loved Wilde's first in the series and was so excited to hear Brooks and Siena's story. It was a very fun, very cute (and very steamy!), and easy-to-read (in the best possible way) modern romance that I would happily recommend to anyone.
If you like these, you'll love this book:
- two broken hearts healing
- banter upon banter upon banter
- only one bed
- he falls first
- no third act breakup (I am loving this "trope" more and more these days)
- healthy communication (especially from the MMC)
This is the second e-ARC of Wilde's that I've received and I have been pleasantly surprised both times. Wilde now has a forever reader in me - if she writes it, I read it!

3.5 🌶️
This book took me by surprise and actually ended up being really cute and a really fun read!
I admit, I hadn't heard of this series and had not read the first one when I received the ARC for Only Between US (thank you NetGalley!!), but now I'm a believer. Brooks and Siena were really fun to get to know, their story was adorable, and the character growth was believable.
I can't wait to read the rest of this series!!

I loved Brooks in Only In Your Dreams and was so excited to read his book. He can be this super intimidating guy, and has a filthy mouth when it comes to Siena, but he's ultimately a huge cinnamon roll when it comes to people he cares about.
Some parts of the first half could have been cut down, but I really enjoyed the overall story. Brooks and Siena have fun banter and challenge each other. Though things don't start off well, Brooks and Siena do a lot of growing together. Each had their own issues but the other was supportive and patient. Their relationship felt very natural. And for all the spice in this book (which there was plenty of!), there are even more sweet and tender moments.
This is a romance, but it also shines a light on hardships like family struggles and career pressures, as well as the difficulties of being in the public eye.
Also, I really hope we get to see Summer and Parker, next!

I have been waiting for this sequel for a while and enjoyed returning to the cast of characters in Oakwood Bay. The plot this time was more straightforward with less intrigue driving it forward but it was a quick, fun read nonetheless and only made me more excited for what I hope will be Parker and Summer’s book next!
RIYL fake dating, football romances (with some small town vibes)

I enjoyed this entire book! Brooks & Siena, the storyline, fake dating, spice etc. it made me so very happy the entire time while reading it and I actually miss the characters in the book. I haven’t read the first book but best believe it is next on my list and I can’t wait to read more from this author!

I really loved this book! The pacing was just right—not too fast, not too slow—and the chemistry between the main characters was so good. They balanced each other out in the best way, and I loved seeing their relationship grow. The writing was super engaging, and the way the author handled their struggles felt really authentic. There were some emotional moments that hit hard, but also plenty of sweet ones that made me smile. Definitely a 4.5/5 for me!

Thank you so much to Atria books and NetGalley for this arc!
I thought this book was absolutely adorable and right up my alley. Who doesn’t love a sports romance? If you are into the sports romances you’ll love this story!

Huge thanks to Altria Books & NetGalley for the ARC — This book was so stinking adorable. I loved the relationship between Sienna and Brooks. Their banter was impeccable. I kept imagining Teddy Hamilton doing the MMC dialogue. The way it’s written, suits him perfectly. This is a feel good, kick your feet romance where our athlete falls first.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This book just wow! I literally couldn’t stop reading this book, the smut, the drama, the romance was absolutely amazing!
I read this book as an early release, and am so glad that I did! I have just started reading romance, and I think this is one of my favorites. I can’t wait to read more in this series and from this author!

Just finished the most adorable rom-com, and I'm officially obsessed! Huge thanks to Altria Books & NetGalley for the ARC – this one's definitely going on my 'favorites' shelf. Seriously, from page one, I was hooked. It's just so… light and fun, you know? Like, instantly makes you smile.
The dual POV? Genius! It totally let me get inside both characters' heads, and I loved seeing how they saw things differently. And the romance? Oh my goodness, it was everything. Seriously, the 'he falls first' thing? Done perfectly. I was rooting for them the whole time!
I felt like I really knew these characters, like they were my friends. Watching them grow and change was just so satisfying. If you're a rom-com fan, especially if you love that 'he falls first' trope, you need to read this. I loved it so much, I went straight to buy the first book in the series!

I absolutely ADORED this book. It was deliciously spicy and unexpectedly sweet and I cannot wait to read more from Ellie Wilde!

I enjoyed a lot of parts of this fake-dating romance. It's dual POV, from both ex-NFL star Brooks, and the woman he's forced to pretend is his girlfriend, Siena. In order for him to prove he's changed his bad-boy ways, he has to show his prospective new team that he's settled down with a serious girlfriend, and thanks to a flirty selfie that goes viral, that girlfriend is Siena.
While most of the story was your typical rom-com content, there was some spice that was way too graphic and kinky for my taste. I know that there is definitely a market for smutty books, so this may be up someone else's alley, but not mine.
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

The book follows Brooks and Siena after they meet on the football field after Brooks crashes into Siena catching a ball. He needs her to reform his image so he can sign another contract after wanting to come out of retirement to play football. She needs the money that comes with being with a pro football player. They agree to fake date until he can get signed, then they can go their separate ways.
I love that the author writes very mature relationships where the characters talk through their problems like adults. The spice was perfect and I loved that there were two POVs. The conflict was done well and it ended perfectly. It was a great 5 star read for me.

4.5 stars
This was such an enjoyable follow up to Only In Your Dreams! Brooks and Siena’s story was so sweet and spicy and I absolutely loved it. They start off in a fake relationship after a photo of them together goes viral but overtime they grow closer and it stops being fake.
Even though they started off with some animosity between them, I felt like Brooks and Siena really grew as a couple and I loved how they became friends and then lovers. Brooks was so sweet and he just wanted to take care of Siena. I loved that he really saw and understood her, especially with her trust issues. He never made her feel like there was something wrong with her and supported her as she worked through things.
Brooks also has some trauma from his past and I loved how Siena validated him and made sure he knew he had value. They were such a good pair and they really brought out the best in each other.
This book doesn’t have a third act break up but it does have a third act conflict that was done really well and really helped both characters grow both as individuals and in their relationship. There were many sweet moments between them and i loved their relationship.
Thank you to NetGalley and Atria for the ARC!

I finished this book in one sitting: it was addicting and I couldn’t put it down! The writing was so simple to read and the plot was plotting. I love hockey romance and this one is definitely in my top five now!
Siena and Brooks’ love story is now a favorite, I recommend it!! 🤍

Thank you to Ellie K Wilde, Atria Books, and NetGalley for giving me an eARC of Only Between Us in exchange for my honest review.
Words cannot explain how much I loved this book. Only In Your Dreams was great do not get me wrong, but this book? I'm obsessed. This book followed Books and Siena as they navigate an unexpected fake-dating situation. When these two first meet they have GREAT chemistry, but unfortunately that first meeting goes wrong and the two cannot stand each other. Well sort-of. It is clear that while they have a mutual dislike for each other, they are also both very much attracted to the other. However a photo goes viral and they both find themselves in a situation where allowing the public to think they are dating makes the most sense.
There is so much about this book that I loved. I loved being able to get more of Summer and Parker, as well as Zac and Melody. I also loved the new characters that we were introduced to. I loved the plot and I loved seeing how the issues in this book were tackled. Once again, there were a lot of very popular tropes in this book (like with Only In Your Dreams) that were handled in such a unique way where I was able to get my fill while also appreciating the different spin on the tropes. What I loved the most though was the journey that Brooks and Siena took not only individually, but as a couple as well. They are both working through the aftermath of their own forms of trauma, and support each other through that in such beautiful ways. Additionally, the journey they had to take together was outstanding. There is not enough words for home much I loved this book and I really really think everyone has to read it, whether they read Only In Your Dreams or not because this book is an outstanding romance novel.
Finally, from what I have seen online. there is going to be a third book in this series and I am hoping beyond hope that it is Summer and Parker's book. There is so much chemistry between the two and so much potential for their storyline and spins on tropes that Wilde could take. I also really really hope Parker's meddling in other relationships comes to bite him in the butt and his friends end up doing it to him. Ughhh I really need their story because I see it. If the next book is not them I will be okay I think, I will read it because I have loved these first two books, but like, I really want it to be them because Wilde set up a story for them in such a beautiful way.

what a fun, easy to read, quick witted, pull me out of a slump, read!!! i absolutely loved their connection & how they decided to overcome obstacles placed in their way. it wasn't a five star read but ellie wilde never fails to give me five star feelings. thank you netgalley for the arc!!!

4 stars- I was excited to read this one after reading the first one in this series. This was a quick read for me. I loved the banter between Siena and Brooks. I really hope we get a book with Summer and Parker next!
