I enjoyed this one more then the first one. It was a contemporary sports romance with the fake dating trope throughout. At times i was engaged but I lost it quickly. The characters just weren't developed enough. It wasn't bad just needed a little more .

"Only Between Us" is the anticipated sequel to Ellie K. Wilde's "Only in Your Dreams," set for release on July 8, 2025. This contemporary sports romance centers on Brooks Attwood, a former professional football player aiming for a comeback after a severe injury. His plans are disrupted when compromising photos emerge, jeopardizing his return to the Rebels, his former team. A chance encounter with Siena Pippen, the ex-girlfriend of a prominent NFL player, leads to a viral selfie, sparking rumors of a new power couple in the football world. To manage the media frenzy and their personal agendas, Brooks and Siena agree to a fake relationship, navigating the complexities of public scrutiny and their evolving feelings.
Wilde's storytelling is marked by engaging narratives and well-developed characters. Given Wilde's track record, "Only Between Us" is poised to deliver a compelling blend of romance, personal growth, and the challenges of life in the public eye. Fans of contemporary romance, especially those with an interest in sports romance and the fake dating tropes, will likely fall in love with "Only Between Us".
