First of all the cover of this book is beautiful! The story was very cute and filled with funny moments. I highly recommend this book.

Daisy and Lorenzo! Lorenzo and Daisy! I must say this book had me wondering what the end result would be but I enjoyed the ride there. I absolutely loved the relationship between Daisy and Jeremy. One should be so lucky to have that type of relationship in their life. Lorenzo and Luigi, a touching mentor relationship. Nick and Daisy, wonderful siblings.
This book was such a beautiful and wonderful read. You can absolutely tell the author did her due research on Venice and you could definitely see the imagery in my head. I now need to visit Venice!
If you want a cute read that will keep you on your toes, definitely read this! You won't regret it!

This book was good but it felt long. It was enjoyable and cute but sometimes felt like it lacked more.

This book was okay. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t pulling me to read it either. I didn’t feel particularly drawn to any of the 3 main characters, or the story. It was well written so I give stars for it being objectively good, just not my style I think.

3.5/5
A friends to lovers that didn't.
In a twist, childhood best friends Daisy and Jeremy's respective partners break up with them to be with each other. Now, Daisy and Jeremy are wondering if they should take their friendship to a new level. Lorenzo is a hotel concierge (violinist at heart) who volunteers to help Daisy and Jeremy fall in love, but ends up developing his own feelings for Daisy.
This book shows that the friends to lovers trope doesn't always work, and romantic love is something that can't be forced. Daisy and Jeremy's lack of chemistry is obvious and luckily, the experiment doesn't last long. But also I felt that Daisy developed feelings for Lorenzo way too fast, especially when she didn't know his last name at the time, and vice versa. This book is a dual POV with Lorenzo and Daisy, and it was nice to get both of their perspectives on their own struggles and their feelings about their burgeoning relationship. I liked the way the book ended and what it took for them to get there, but felt like the timeline was way too rushed in tying everything up for the ending and reuniting the couple.
Thank you to Harlequin and NetGalley for the ARC.

Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for the ARC in exchange for an honest.

I don't normally go for the friends to lovers trope, but this is one I enjoyed. Possibly because it had some twists that I didn't see coming.
Dumped in Venice, Daisy is now sitting at the hotel's bar trying to figure out what happened, and where is her aching heart from it all?
Then out comes the best friend Jeremy, who was also just dumped.
As the two friends piece it all together, the reader really gets to see the friendship between the two.
The two friends then have the crazy idea of "Oh, let's see if we'll fall in love in Venice".
But oh dang, then there's the friendly concierge guy named, Lorenzo, who wants to help them out.
This story made me laugh, and also really want to visit Venice.
Highly recommend and can 100% say that this would be the perfect beach read.
Thank you Netgalley and
Harlequin Books for giving me this opportunity to read this ARC. Above is my honest review.

After being dumped by their respective partners on a trip to Venice, Daisy and her best friend Jeremy decide to take a chance on love and see if they can become a couple themselves. They meet a bartender Lorenzo who agrees to show them the most romantic places in Venice. But what happens when the chemistry between Daisy and Lorenzo heats up instead, and Daisy is left deciding what path to take?
Read if you enjoy:
*** Destination romance
*** Undeniable chemistry
*** Gorgeous men with accents
*** Dual POV
*** Fated lovers
This was cute, fun read. I will always enjoy a good destination romance, and this delivered! I could imagine myself in Venice wherever they went. Would absolutely read more novels by this author in the future.
Thank you to Harlequin Romance and Netgalley for the ARC of this novel; all opinions are my own.

This book was a a cute read for me. It is in the Multicultural Interest and Romance genre. I feel that this book was definitely not in the comedy category. It is a short, easy read. I was able to finish it in one day. This is the first book that I have read by the author and will be reading her other books as well. The story sets place in beautiful Venice, which centers around a woman named Daisy.
She gets heartbroken by her boyfriend who dumps her. Now she is left with her best friend, Jeremy in Venice. She was not living in Venice, but vacationing there for inspiration for her restaurant. She lives in California. This woman is desperate to find love, in all the right places?! I felt like I needed to be there to tell her, “hey Daisy wake up! You are a single woman in the most gorgeous place, just let loose and have fun!” I’m reading this book and thinking that exact same thought throughout the entire time she is in Venice.
Back to the story, Daisy goes on a mission to make her best friend her new lover and future forever. Weird scenes occur and the story gets all over the place. Then, there is this handsome tour guide named Lorenzo, who is also there in Venice with her. She’s confused and emotional.
She did lose her father and just got dumped by her boyfriend, so she does have every right to feel the way she does. Her father wanted her to have stability in her life. I found the female main character Daisy to be annoying at times. Her best friend Jeremy was an okay character. Lorenzo is really the only character I enjoyed. The minor characters were all okay. So, who does she end up with, if anybody at all? What happens when she goes back home from Venice? What starts off as a friends to lovers trope, ends up being a triangle love trope. This is a very slow burn. It does have a lot of spice to it! I felt the ending was satisfying. Overall, I rate this book a 3 out of 5 stars.
