Thank you Harlequin Books and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.

This is the third book of the Toil and Trouble series. Honestly, this may have been my favorite so far. The chemistry between Tia and Henry is just so spot on.

Sophie Morgan really knows how to write a fun book. I love the witch society, and how much thought has been put into it.

Tia and Henry are both high up on the witch food chain, and make a lovely match. However, they can't stand each other after a nasty breakup from years before. Their families recently merged their potion making businesses into one, so the two of them are forced to work together.

A rich investor, Siddeley, from England is interested in the company, and is lead to believe Henry and Tia are a couple due to a kissing mishap caused by a potion gone wrong. Tia messed up the potion, and Henry lost all memories associated with Tia. Siddeley is a sucker for love, and invites them to his home to stay for a month to earn his investment.

Along the way, the fake relationship turns into something more, and it is up to Tia not to build walls again, and Henry to learn to listen. The two of them learn so much about each other during their trip away, and fireworks explode for the good and bad.

With some spicy themes, it definitely is 2.5/5 for those scenes. The plot is definitely more than the spice, and if you aren't into those themes, it is easy to skip past. The author made all of the scenes actually tie into the story she wove without making them seem forced for the same of spice. Very well done!

It takes some twists and turns, but the ending is well deserved, and I so hope to catch up more on Tia, Leah, and Emma in the near future!

I went into this book not having read the 2 before. It was very easy to read as a stand alone.
Tia is dedicated, serious and faithful and proud. Coming in second is not an option and she will do just about anything to get what she wants. In steps Henry, and old love now a rival. Both will do what it takes to secure the win.
An enemies to lovers that was a really fur read. Tia and Henry played so well off of each other and it was so hard to pick a side! A great "magical" Christmas read!
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC!

I love Sophie Morgans books. Love them. They make me laugh and swoon and want to slap the mmc at least once. This book is the perfect book for me. It's witchy with lots of fun banter. This is a second chance romance where our FMC accidentally cast a forget me spell on the MMC and he has no idea who she is. They are force to have close proximity and share one bed over the holiday what could possible go wrong. Que me kicking my feet in giddiness. I love the cameos of the other fabulous females and I am dreaming and hoping that we get another book with Lady Isabella and Tia's brother????. Maybe pretty please. Grab your copy and fall in love with Henry all over again.

This is a magical Christmas romance about second chances. Tia and Henry were each other's first loves until a major blowup over conflicting loyalties. With the merger of their family businesses, both are now working together and sniping at each other.

Everything changes when Henry develops amnesia as the unexpected side effect of a potion and he becomes the man Tia originally loved. They are scheduled to travel to England to secure a business investment and their parents agree that they should pretend to date to reinforce the image of a stable family business. There's just one bed and lots of forced proximity. They also rediscover the original excitement and fun of their relationship as they participate in building snowmen, baking pies and tasting mulled wine.

A classic enemies to lovers story, Season of the Witch shows how hate can be the other side of the coin to love. You will be moved as Henry and Tia learn how to listen to each other and talk through issues. There's lots of passion as they work to trust each other.

This definitely works as a standalone. If you have been following the series, you will enjoy the appearances from Tia's best friends and the characters featured in Books 1 and 2.

Honestly, it’s the kind of romance that leaves glitter on your fingertips and ache in your chest. Completely enchanting.

A great way to end an incredibly fun series. Though I hope it isn’t the end. I’d love more books in this series. Especially about Damon and Isabella.

This story has been teased the entire series and this book lived up to that for sure. Easily the sexiest of the series too.

So excited to get Tia and Henry’s story after all the hints of their history in Emma and Leah’s book. It did not disappoint. Lots of lovely fizzy chemistry between Tia and Henry, both so stubborn and so alike and just caught up in their own fears. The premise and how it forced them to go back to the basics of who they were to each other was great. I liked getting more of a sense of Tia in this, she broke my heart in parts and was so relatable with her insecurities and need to put up walls to protect herself. I liked playful Henry unburdened by his memories and responsibilities breaking down those walls. Nice support from Emma and Leah and the surprise new friend (🤞🏾we will we get a book for her as well.) Really fun read. 4 stars⭐️

This book is a winner! I loved Tia and Henry's story. It was an engaging story of a young love that went awry. It quickly turned to hurt feelings and anger. With time and space, things fostered and got worse.... until a problem with a potion that leaves them forced to be a pretend couple.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and found myself immersed in the characters' lives, wanting them to get a HEA ending.

Fans of the genre will love this book. The author is on my must read authors' list.
