Review: Wow! What a way to kick off the second gen. You can read this book as a stand alone but if you want to meet Ashers and Lucys parents you should definitely check out the Monsters & Muses series starting with Ashers parents in Promises and Pomegranates. Our babies are off to college with a dark history and even weirder things happening.

This book is friends to lovers with all the dark academia vibes. Asher is so similar to his father Kal Anderson. He is constantly in a state of anger except for when it comes to Lucy who is like his saving grace. She calms him as he does for her. Their relationship was such a fun part of this book. The fighting, the tension, the fact they are both complete idiots. Throw in the mix they both end up in a college where people think the library is haunted, strange things are happening around campus, and students are disappearing. This made for one wild ride. Don't trust anyone!

Read this if you love:
~Friends to Lovers
~Dark Academia
~Grumpy x Grumpy
~One Bed
~Cat Daddy
~Slow Burn
~Dual POV

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Sav R. Miller for allowing me to ARC for this book. I am so honored to be a part of this new release.

3.25⭐, 2.5🌶️

"You're so beautiful," I utter.
Her face reddens. "Don't say stuff you don't mean."
Dipping my head, I pull the lace cup toward me, baring her t|t, and run the flat of my tongue over it. Saliva paints her skin, and I pull the n|pp|e between my lips, sucking gently.
"I've never been more honest in my entire life," I say around her. "You are the most magnificent creature I've ever laid eyes on."

*This is a second generation series of Monsters and Muses. Asher is the son of the couple from Promises and Pomegranates, and Lucy is the daughter of Arrow and Apologies.

Okay, so when I think back to when I read the Monsters and Muses Series, I don't remember them being deeply dark (but my reviews say I thought they were) so when I started this book, I was expecting more moody academia/ gothic vibes. And that's my own fault for going in with those expectations because this book was DARK (on page death and S.A - MC observes/ does not experience). Lucy see's so many dark things happen and Asher commits a lot of dark things (but as Kal's son, makes sense.

This story was slow going for me and hard to stay invested in until the last 40% kicked in. I enjoyed the beginning of L&A being friends and their fall out, and then there is a whole lot of world building and soooo many characters to keep track of. Who's a villain, who's a friend? Honestly I still don't know (which is a great way to have me invested into book two, because I am). I think for me, I would have really loved this book if I dint have such a big gap in reading M&M and this series. A lot of the time I paused reading to go look at Sav's IG for her family tree template to track down who was who and how they related back to OG books.

Also unrelated to my review but I realized I never finished the M&M series with the last book, and need to read Grayson and Violet's story to better know Foxe (because he's gonna have a book, I just know it and I CAN NOT WAIT to get inside his head.)

Thank you NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for an eARC of this book in exchange for my honest review

When I heard Sav was writing a spin off of the Monsters and Muses series I was absolutely stoked and I can say that it did not disappoint at all.

I loved the haunting, dark academia vibes and the mythology/lore intertwined into the setting was super cool. The angst and yearning was top tier and I think the dual POV added to that. When Sav said idiots to lovers, she meant it with her whole chest and I ate. it. up. The spice was spicing as usual- absolutely delicious.

Overall, I really enjoyed this, and would recommend it!
Thank you to the publisher & Sav for giving me the opportunity to read it early-I can’t wait for the next book!

This book was hard to get into. There was a lot of information to process from the previous series, which I haven't read. The two MCs were in love with each other for a long time, but end up pushing each other away due to a misunderstanding and miscommunication. This was incredibly frustrating and while the slow burn was great, I feel like this didn't live up to expectations. I might try to read the previous series and see if this hits better for me. The writing was great, I enjoyed the characters, but the big miscommunication bothered me. I also couldn't get into the dark academia aspects.

Wow, this book was a whirlwind of emotions. It was moody, sexy, with dark academia.
I will also say that this is my first time reading a Sav. R Miller book and totally had no idea this was a second generation book but that didn't matter because I was able to follow the story without knowing any details from previous books. In this book, you get childhood friends to lovers and Sav did such a great job with this trope. I couldn't stop reading because I wanted them to become lovers ASAP. The book was super fast paced and mysterious as well. The only downside was the classic miscommunication. I know that they’re both young and these things happen but it went on years and I found that a little frustrating. Overall I enjoyed this book and I’m excited to read more from the author.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for giving me this arc in exchange for my honest review.

📚Endless anger by Sav R. Miller
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First of all, we need to talk about the cover, its gorgeous and I love it so much!!
This book is the first in a second gen series, and I think it was the perfect set up for what’s to come.
The characters had so much depth to them, and so much palpable chemistry, the plot had so many great twists, and the side characters were amazing (yes, I’m talking about Foxe), I look forward to the rest of the series and to find out more about these characters.
Overall the book was great, the romance was great and so was the plot so I’d definitely recommend!
Tropes:
🔥dark academia
🩸family curse
🔥grumpy x grumpy
🩸one (dorm) bed
🔥childhood friends to idiots to lovers

Thank you so much to NetGalley for the arc in exchange of my honest review!!

Endless Anger is the perfect storm of dark academia atmosphere, supernatural suspense, and romance that will wreck your heart in the best way. From the ivy-covered halls of Avernia College to the shadowy corners where secret societies thrive, Sav builds a world that’s as intoxicating as it is dangerous.

Asher is pure brooding rage wrapped in bad decisions, and Lucy is the one person who’s ever truly seen him. Their history is tangled with heartbreak, longing, and one unforgettable night that tore them apart. When Asher returns as Lucy’s dorm RA, sparks fly—but so do the dangers. With whispers of rituals, murders, and demons lurking just out of sight, the tension between them is matched only by the stakes of survival.

Sav masterfully balances plot and passion—every chapter crackles with chemistry, yet the mystery keeps you compulsively turning pages. And if you’ve read Monsters & Muses, you’ll appreciate the added depth of knowing the parents and families first; it makes meeting this new generation even more satisfying.

If you love morally gray heroes, angsty slow-burn romance, and a campus setting with secrets waiting to swallow you whole, this is a must-read. I’m already desperate for the next book

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and it didn’t let me down. I loved the dark academia vibe and the mystery. The twists caught me off guard in the best way. The buildup of the romance was full of tension. Even though it’s connected to another series, I never felt confused. If anything, it made me want to go back and read about the previous generation.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casabalanca for the early copy of Endless Anger by Sav R. Miller. This is the second generation of the Monster and Muse’s series and the first book in the Monsters Within series. It centers around Lucy and Asher.
Asher is everything you want in a brooding, broken MMC. His whole life centers around her existence. While his decisions seem extreme, his efforts are always toward her happiness.
Lucy and Asher’s story is full of miscommunication and lies. I personally found it very frustrating to read.
The dark academia was interesting but I would have liked the story to tie more into the Anderson history. I don’t believe their family lore was ever mentioned in the original series, so this felt very forced.
Overall it was fun….nothing special, but still a good time.

First I want to thank Net Gallery and Sav. R. Miller for giving me this opportunity!💗

This is my first book from Sav.R.Miller and it won't be the last 😅 Lucy Wolfe was the protagonist of the book was a character that I couldn't relate more and by coincidence we have the same birth date !! Lucy is for the girls that are trying to fit in but they don't find acceptance... Here comes Asher he has dedicated his whole life to her. They have been besties since their birth literally 😭 The plot was full of mystery with an dark atmosphere, the book was fast paced and the slow burn was slow BURNING... It was full of angst and yearning they tried to deny their attraction but at the end they couldn't...

This is a DNF for me unfortunately. I did not read the original series that preceded this. I found this sluggish to get through and just did not care/was not invested in the characters enough to continue.

OMG this book was so unique, so eerie and so so good! I've never read a dark contemporary book before and usually dislike friends to lovers books but this was so wonderfully done! I haven't read the previous series before going into this and while it's not completely necessary, I'd advise other readers to read that first before diving into this!

Thank you to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for the arc of this book. Endless Anger in the first book in Sav Miller's new series Monsters Within. This series is a spin off from the Monsters & Muses series. I have not read Monsters & Muses and was not lost at any point during this book by not reading them. After reading this book though I will be going back to read that series as well. This book is dual point of view from the main characters Lucy and Asher. This book is a dark academia romance. This book is a slow burn that builds up to some spicy chapters. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the next in this series.

Endless Anger is the perfect start to this next gen series and the introduction to fury hill and Avernia College.
This book is dark, the vibes are eerie, there’s a curse looming over the college and I couldn’t get enough. There’s strange things happening and Lucy is struggling to find her place without Asher by her side. Asher all his life has only ever tried to protect Lucy so when he turned up to Avernia unexpectedly things really unfold.

Sav has written these characters perfectly, they are a force of nature that will leave you obsessed and needing more.

I am very excited for the rest of this series because if book one is anything to go by, this series is going to be phenomenal

Thanks a bunch for sending me this ARC!

Before diving into this ARC for “Endless Anger,” I had no idea it was a spin-off or sequel to the “Monster & Muses” series. I found it really easy to pick up and read as a standalone. It did make me curious about the parents, though.

This book is a friends-to-lovers story with a mix of miscommunication, dark academia, and a murder mystery.

The plot had some parts that kept me hooked, then dragged a bit, and then picked up again. Overall, I enjoyed the book and Ash and Lucy, but I have to say that Fox and Aurora were my favorites.

I have re-read the Monsters and Muses collection several times so I was so excited to hear there would be a “Next Gen” series to this book! Endless Anger follows Kal and Elena’s son Asher and Alistiar and Cora’s daughter. Since birth, these two have been tied to the soul. I LOVED the first half, I loved the angst and the realization of love they shared. The middle was harder for me because I felt like it went into a bunch of other stories. The last part I loved as they came back together and realized just how much they loved each other. I loved the connection they had, the HEAT was HOT! And I loved getting to see all the “old” characters back!

Can’t wait for book 2 to get to know more of these kids!

**THANK YOU NetGalley for this ARC!

Endless Anger is a spinoff series from the Monsters & Muses series following their children. Full disclosure: I’ve never read the Monsters & Muses series, though Endless Anger can be read without reading the original series. Supposedly.

Endless Anger is a friends-to-lovers romance in a dark academia setting with an ominous curse. While the friends-to-lovers romance and the actual setting are the standout aspects of the novel, the rest is left to be desired.

The novel begins with multiple chapters from both Lucy and Asher’s perspective through their childhood establishing the bond between the two characters. These chapters are instrumental to their relationship.

Lucy and Asher’s relationship is easily the best part of the novel. Their chemistry is fire hot and undeniable. If you’re a fan of friends-to-lovers, Endless Anger delivers one of the best versions I’ve ever read.

Unfortunately, the rest of the novel is disappointing. I would not recommend reading Endless Anger unless you’ve read the previous series. I felt confused and lost most of the time. Endless Anger should have been the first book in a completely standalone series.

Overall, while I loved Lucy and Asher together, the rest of Endless Anger was a disappointment.

Overall I did find the story interesting and I actually really enjoyed the mmc’s POV, but I honestly could not care for the fmc at all, she was just kinda boring. I also think this book is more of a murder mystery, and it somewhat reminded me of Her Soul to Take. It had a similar dark academia, murder plot vibe, but personally I don’t like Endless Anger as much. There’s a lot of things that irked me with the plot that I don’t want to spoil so I’ll leave it at that, therefore I just don’t think this book was for me.

This book was the best way to start the 2nd generation of the monsters and muses. The whole book I thought it was one specific person who was doing all the bad stuff but to find out it wasn’t shocked me! I loved Asher’s inner monologue and just showed how much of his parents he has in him. Can’t wait for the next book!!
