Oh this was fun! Absolutely the epitome of cozy fantasy! Delightful characters, engaging story. Thanks to NetGalley for a copy!

4.5 stars
Thank you to NetGalley, the publishers and the author for the e-ARC of the deluxe edition in exchange for honest review.
This book is the perfect cozy fantasy! In the first book, we met Doli, Arleta's first friend at the baking competition. By the end of book 1, Doli has decided to move to Adenashire to be with all her friends and be able to spread her wings from her judgy family and their expectations.
We find out early on in book 2, that a reclusive gargoyle, Sarson, has moved to town and there's immediate chemistry between Sarson and Doli.
Doli also receives an inheritance from her great uncle, which includes a beautiful necklace and a dragon egg! Doli is shocked when the dragon egg begins to hatch as dragons only hatch when they've met their bonded.
As an additional surprise, Doli's parents decide to make an extended visit to Adenashire to make sure their daughter is settling in okay.
Doli must navigate all these obstacles, her overbearing parents, working a new job, falling in love with Sarson while taming a baby dragon!
I just loved this story! It was incredibly sweet, fun and cozy! I loved seeing Doli come out of her shell and be able to show emotions other than happiness. I adored how her magic changed and evolved and the love story was so sweet!
I'm so excited to finish this series as they've all been sweet and lovely!

I’m so grateful to be part of the ARC team for this book!
This book is a cozy fantasy in the Adenashire series, featuring personal growth, found family, magic and romance.
I really enjoyed seeing Doli grow and develop as a person, learn to stick up for herself and develop a cute romantic relationship!
The stakes are very low in this book making it a perfect relaxing read!
I adore the characters and can’t wait for more!

A light and cozy fantasy romance with likeable characters. This is not my usual type of fantasy story but a welcome light relief after more demanding texts. Ideal for anyone who likes a light-hearted tale of fairy folk. Doli our main character is gifted a dragon egg as part of her inheritance and chaos ensues. Supported by her many friends and new love interest, Doli navigates caring for her dragon who gets into all sorts of trouble! My main reason for the 3 stars would be that I would have preferred a more in depth story without such a sudden ending. it seemed that just as Doli was getting to grips with her role as guardian to Evvy, things suddenly resolved.

Another fun and cosy read with the well loved characters of Adenashire. Easy and fun to read, this cute story will keep you entertained. Thanks #NetGalley for the ARC version.

This book is pure comfort fantasy. Doli, our sweet dwarf librarian, inherits a dragon egg and embarks on a heartwarming journey of self-discovery and magical caretaking. The village of Adenashire is filled with charming characters, and the addition of a mischievous baby dragon named Evvy adds a delightful touch. The story is low-stakes, filled with tea magic, tasty treats (recipes included!), and the kind of found family vibes that make you want to curl up with a blanket and never leave.
If you’re in the mood for a gentle, feel-good read with a touch of magic and a lot of heart, this one’s for you.

“How many times have you imagined kissing me?
“Every exquisite second since we met.”
To be back in this world again was such a delight. I have been enjoying the Adenashire books so much. They have been a "I don't want to put them down because I need to know how this ends" type stories for me. If you enjoy the simplicity of cozy fantasy this is a pretty good one to pick up. You could also realistically read this without having read the first, but I do recommend reading them in order to be more acquainted with the characters. If you don't that's also fine, there's little updates throughout the book that talks about events of book one. I cried on 3 separate occasions because I was overwhelmed by cuteness.
This book follows Doli Butterbuckle. She was one of the participants and friends of the fmc in the first book. Doli is also a dwarf with simple but unique tea magic. She can conjure tea of all types as well as some additional add ins, depending on how you like your tea. In this book Doli is dealing a bit with internal conflict. She has always been the person that loves (and still does) making other people feel better. She is "the cheery friend", but she realizes she's been kind of broody. There's so much she needs to unpack but where to start? Her uncle that she barely spoke to passed and she has to accept inheritance. That inheritance happened to be an ugly vase, a beautiful necklace, and...a dragon egg? She has to learn how to care for a dragon and to top it off her parents are coming to visit and she has less than a days notice. Her relationship has been a little strained with them since her mother doesn't approve of what she wants to do with her life. She's not like other dwarves that dream of typical dwarve things and it creates tension between her family and her. On top of all that there's a hunky gargoyle in town and suspicions are high as new people roll into town...asking questions about HER dragon.

Thank you, Poison Pen Press and J Penner, for the copy of A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons. It was such a delight.

I had so much hope for a cute dragon fantasy, but this one didn’t quite live up to my expectations. A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons is the second book in a series, and while it can be read on its own, I found myself wishing I had started with the first book. I think having more context might have helped me connect better with the characters and the story’s world, or at least given me something to compare it to.
The concept is really promising—quirky librarians, dragons, and a fantasy adventure setup that sounds like it should be delightful. But the execution just didn’t click for me. The pacing felt off: some parts moved too fast, while others dragged without much happening. The tone wavers between silly and serious in a way that sometimes felt disjointed rather than playful. I appreciated the originality and the occasional flashes of humor, but overall, I struggled to stay engaged.

I received an advanced reader's copy from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.
This is the second book (out of 4?) in this series. It builds on the existing world from the Fellowship of Bakers book. This one delves into Dolli's story more, and introduces her love interest- and he's a librarian! It was a quick fun read that was very much the have a cup of tea with old friends and catch up. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to book 3

A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons isn't a book I'd typically pick up but I was fully sucked in by the cover. I thought this was a cozy story that was well written but as someone who isn't a fantasy reader, it missed the mark for me. That is 100% a me thing and I have no doubt this book will have no problem finding an audience who loves it!

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. I like how this book explored other main characters and not just on Arleta. This was another fun read along with some recipes I can’t wait to try. This series has become one of my favorites.

Such a sweet book! I loved exploring the themes of found family and finding your confidence. This was such sweet cozy read! I have loved every moment of this series. How do I move to Adenashire?
Sweet baby dragons, need I say more!
If love a cozy read with a lot of fun quirky characters this book is for you.
Thank you to NetGalley, author J. Penner and Poisoned Pen Press for this digital reader’s copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!

Another amazing story in this series. Loved seeing what all the characters are up to and loved the edition of a little dragon terrorizing everyone. I wanted a little more Doli and Sarson moments to really bring their love story home and maybe a little more background on Sarson but overall another wonderful sweet cozy story.

I loved this 2nd book in the series, it's all about Doli and her coming into herself. It is as it says a Cosy read and great for a summer holiday or relaxing while reading. The characters continue to grow and develop and we start seeing new ones some come and go and others are here to stay. A nice slow paced cozy read I would recommend and I am already on to the next.

I loved it! This follow up cozy fantasy had me loving this group of friends even more. Doli is the sweetest little dwarf and I was glad to see more of her and very happy to see her come into her own.

Thank you to Net Galley and Poisoned Pen Press for this ARC. In this book, we return to Adenshire to visit with some old friends but are also introduced to new friends. This book was sweet, cozy, and low stakes. I love that any recipes mentioned are also in the back of the book.

I am a sucker for a good library and I have always loved dragons so when I saw this book i leaped at the opportunity. I enjoyed the first book in this series but this one tugged at my heart even more.
This book contains themes of toxic family, self worth, and a found family. Doli is a ray of sunshine to all she meets wanting them to be safe and happy. The question through this book though is Doli happy with who she is and is it okay to show her friends and family when she isn’t. Add in the surprise visit and the handsome gargoyle that she just can’t stop thinking about while chasing around her new charge.
This is a great cozy read with a troupe of fun and exciting characters that just want the best for each other. Also after reading this book if anyone has a dragon egg they need hatching I am happy to assist.

Another fantastic book! I absolutely adore this series so much, it's the perfect blend of cozy, fantasy, and problem solving, all topped off with a sprinkling of adorable romance!
A Fellowship of Librarians & Dragons focuses on Doli and how she's settling in to life in Adenashire after the events of the baking contest. She's enjoying the quiet and comfortable life that she and her friends have built for themselves, but struggles greatly with self doubt, and worries a lot over knowing that this is not what her parents would want for her. Her parents are very proud dwarves and they'd love nothing more than for Doli to follow in their footsteps and work in the family gemstone business. They're sadly not very supportive of Doli's choices and the life she's making for herself, and cause a real upheaval of Doli's world when they come for a surprise visit.
Doli inherits a dragon egg from her late uncle, and while Evvy explains later in the book that she always knew Doli would be her guardian, I wish we got a bit more info on how exactly Doli's uncle came into possession of the egg, and how he knew to pass it on to her. Doli questions it quite a few times, but it's just accepted that there's no real reason for it. I assumed that Evvy influenced her uncle somehow as it is mentioned that her breed of dragon can influence people's emotions to some extent, but I'd love if that was explicitly explained in the book when it's questioned by characters.
I LOVED the storyline of Doli being a people-pleaser and learning to stand up for herself, and accepting that she doesn't always need to be bright and bubbly for her friends to still love and want to be around her. As someone that really struggles with a similar issue, this really spoke to me and I think it was portrayed very well. Her friends are all very supportive and express their love for her in really kind and understanding ways. To me it was realistic for Doli to still have doubts and take some time to accept that its okay to not be okay, but I understand why people may not like that aspect of her character if they don't also have a similar mentality about themselves.
Sarson was one of my favourite characters and I really enjoyed his addition and the romance he brought with him, it was soft and fluffy and he treats Doli with such gentleness and respect, he's a true gentleman. It was lovely!
I was expecting his big reveal to be a lot more dramatic with how much the mistrust around gargoyles was built up, though.
Evvy was ADORABLE and I loved how she was described and all the little actions she'd make. I love mental the image of this little dragon wringing it's hands, desperate for another tasty treat! I do think her storyline was resolved in quite a quick way, but I'm hoping we get to see more of her in the next books now thar her and Doli have a line of communication!
I think this was a brilliant continuation of the series and I really enjoyed getting to see Doli's POV. Certain storyline, admittedly, did feel a little rushed in their conclusions, but overall it was a really enjoyable, cozy read and I'm so excited to continue this series!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review the eARC!

Hmm.. How to begin. Firstly, this review is geared towards readers, not the author at all.
I really really really disliked this book.
Let me start from the beginning. Within the first 30% of the book, the main character received a precious gift (of being a guardian to a dragon) and proceeded to whine and cry about how she wasn't enough and had secrets every other second. Any time her friends mentioned anything contrary to her own feelings or opinion about something, she lashed out at them. She treated her friend like absolute sh*t.
Secondly. She works in a bookstore but only actually spent one day working. AND she works in a bookstore but did barely any research on her own about training her dragon, what her dragon likes, to eat, etc. The gargoyle did all the work for her.
Every other second the main character was irresponsible.
The only saving grace of this book was the gargoyle. There wasn't a plot. The ending was completely predictable (as was the villain). Just really underwhelming and boring considering this was about supernatural people and dragons.

First off, I want to thank NetGalley and J. Penner for this ecopy arc.
I just loved this cozy book. It brought all the feel-good vibes. Back to Adenashire we go this time with our sunshine dwarf Doli. To have Doli's tea magic would be fun. Doli is on an adventure to find herself but with the company of her new baby dragon. Definitely brought laughs with her care taking of the baby dragon. Overall, it was an easy cute cozy read.
