A Fellowship of Librarians and Dragons is the second book in the cozy Adenashire series and I would recommend reading the first book before this one as book one does such a wonderful job at building the foundation for this story. I absolutely loved book one, A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic, and couldn't wait to return to this cozy fantasy world!

This story follows Doli, a people-pleasing dwarf, after she inherits a dragon egg following the death of her uncle. As Doli learns to navigate life as a caretaker, she embarks on a journey to care for the young dragon with the help of her friends and also finds herself on a path of self discovery. I absolutely loved this story! I devoured this book so quickly and wish I could nestle in the town of Adenashire myself. This book makes you feel like you're living alongside your magical chosen family in a small, cozy town. Overall, the vibes are extremely cozy and while the stakes feel a little bit higher than they did in book one, this story absolutely maintains a warm and cozy feel overall.

Thank you so much to the publisher and to NetGalley for the e-ARC. I cannot wait to buy a physical copy for my bookshelf!

A sweet, cozy adventure with dragons, elves and just a touch of romance.

I read this book in two sittings across a single day, it was a quick, low stakes adventure.

What I loved about this book:
-Doli- she was a loveable main character, settling into a life away from her parents with a found family.
- Evvy- The most adorable and mischievous baby dragon with a taste for pastries 🐉
- Tea magic! Possibly the best kind of magic.

This book is full of yummy sounding treats (with recipes included), like jam filled spice cookies so my only complaint is that it made me feel hungry.

Overall, it is the closest thing I’ve found to a grown up version of the magic faraway tree and I loved every minute. ❤️

Thank you to NetGalley and Poisoned Pen Press for the opportunity to read this ARC.

Thank you to the author and NetGalley for giving me an ARC.

This was a really good follow-up to A Fellowship of Bakers and Magic - I really liked that we got to know Doli better as a character and that her backstory became more clear. It was also really fun to see the characters from the first book making appearences, especially Arleta and Theo!

This lacked some of the tension of the first book, which is why I've rated it lower, but it was still an enjoyable read, and a great low-stakes fantasy.
