This was a great and complete read. Would have loved just a bit more slow burn and character development but I think this was good. I can see a possible sequel in this world.

Ok this was really fun. What could go wrong? Such a great world set up and great banter between characters.

I requested this out of curiosity due to the cover/description and the fact that this was being published under the children's imprint as a YA book.

This is not a YA book. By any stretch of the word. If my library were to purchase this, I would not be able to put it in the teen section. It could be called "New Adult" but hey, we don't have that as a section in my library.

There are multiple, descriptive spicy scenes and lots of language. I understand that is what many teens are interested in reading, but that doesn't make it a book that I can MARKET to teens. Many "teen" books being published nowadays make it very hard for me to give recommendations when asked by mothers/fathers for appropriate books for their children to read.

Besides the fact that it's being marketed to the wrong audience, this book wasn't good. Cringe writing and dialogue, so I wouldn't be recommending it anyway.
