Domingo/Sunday is a Filipino naturalized as an American citizen who is proud of his origin but wants to be seen as an American and fully fit in society although he does not feel totally accepted because of his accent and his color. He is a bounty hunter of criminal immigrants but he has been involved in locating the same person, Monica, three times. Hes father was in the Army and in the CIA and at first did not want to recognize her as a daughter, which was all she wanted. Later on in life he seeks for her help as he needs a kidney transplant, however, there was more he needed... Domingo will do his best to find her, after letting her go the two previous times, to fulfill her stepmother's wishes and will be faced with a horrible crime. Danger No Problem is an interesting read either to understand better how an immigrant feels or to enjoy a good mystery full of action.
I thank the author, her publisher, and NetGalley for this ARC.

This book was riveting from start to finish.

Not only does it capture a big part of our current, and very American, consciousness, but it also brings to light so many perspectives. Domingo's journey as a bounty hunter served to display the many facets of the American journey including the very real and rarely mentioned effects of the Asian Diaspora across multiple generations.

I'm happy to know that this is a series and I cannot wait to read more from Cindy Fazzi.

The writing was excellent. The characters were memorable. This book is heavily political; in fact, politics are practically a character. Once you read it, you will understand why it's relevant. If you're like me, you will yearn for more focus on the characters and less on the politics, especially once you reach the end. One thing you may not find in this book is a sense of closure.

This was an interesting read; I’m reading more and more about immigration and some of the things that people go through.

I already know there will be book 2 and I can’t wait.
Thank you to Netgalley, GetRedPR, and Thomas & Mercer for my advanced reader copy!

Overall, this was a 4.5 star read for me. This is very action packed and such an interesting read. I found that I had a hard time putting the book down. Also I am glad to have had more insight on immigration and some of the things that they can go through. Also love that the original title was still within the story!

Now I do feel like I didn't feel as close to these characters as I would have liked, and Domingo I felt sometimes didn't handle situations the best, but I feel the message came across well and is such a great read especially right now!

I can't wait to see what book two brings! Especially if it pulls me in as much as this one did! Thank you to Netgalley, GetRedPR, and Thomas & Mercer for my advanced reader copy!

Domingo aka Sunday because the name Sunday is more Americanized. Domingo is a bounty hunter or rather a criminal illegal immigrant hunter. Domingo hails from the Philippines, he is a naturalized American citizen. He is currently seeking Monica Reed for the third time. Domingo is working for the Reed family again. He has quite a history with the Reed family, Leonard Reed hired him the two previous times, Mrs Reed (Leonard's widow) has hired him this last time. This time around Domingo is having a hsrd time locating Monica whom he named Multo (ghost). Domingo never gives up. This was an exciting action thriller, Domingo is a very likeable character. This was a very fast paced and engaging story.

Danger No Problem follows Domingo, a bounty hunter repeatedly tasked with tracking down Monica, the undocumented daughter of a wealthy man. Years earlier, her father wanted her deported; now, he needs her kidney to survive. Told across multiple timelines, the story blends suspense, family drama, and mystery as Domingo’s search for Monica shifts from a straightforward job to a missing-person case with deeper stakes. While the pacing took some time to pick up, the story was easy to follow and had a tense, twisty ending. Some moments, especially the way Monica’s father treated her were gut-wrenching. An engaging start to the series, though not without its slow spots.

This novel follows Domingo, a bounty hunter who hunts down undocumented criminals. He is one of the best and initially got hired by Leonard Reed to track down Monica, his illegitimate daughter, who came to America from the Philippines to get to know him but Leonard knew that her visa most likely expired and wanted her gone. Domingo had the easiest bounty but decided to let her go because she wasn’t a criminal in his eyes. He calls her the “multo” meaning ghost in tagalong. The book switches from the present to the past, so we get to see Domingo hunting down Monica the first time and second time when Monica’s dad needed a kidney transplant from Monica. In the present day, he was hired one last time to find Monica by Leonard’s wife, who wanted to reconcile and give her all her assets to Monica as her deathbed wish. Domingo hasn’t been lucky this time with finding Monica due to no one knowing what happened to her. What was meant to be a simple task of tracking her down turns out to be a missing person case and potentially something worse. It was a little hard to get into at the beginning, but I found it difficult to stop reading and needing to see Domingo solve this mystery. I did enjoy reading the different timelines and didn’t find it too difficult to keep up. I cannot wait to read the sequels! Thank you to Get Red PR for a copy of this book ✨

Thanks to Thomas & Mercer and NetGalley for this ebook ARC in return for my honest review.

Author Cindy Fazzi introduces us to Domingo the Bounty Hunter in the first book of her series and it was a marvelous read!! Domingo is a Filipino/America, a legal immigrant who works as a bounty hunter to corral illegal immigrants who have a warrant out for their deportation. But Domingo is a Bounty Hunter who has a heart and along the way he begins writing a book to teach immigrants the ropes of remaining in the US and the various legal ways to citizenship.
But he has met his match when he has to bring in Monica Reed who has overstayed her VISA; This story begins in 1998, shifts to 2008 and also to present day as Domingo is confronted by one of the easiest fugitives he has ever had to bring in, but who has also "escaped" twice. This is a story of a girl trying to find her family, and a man who is hired by that family to make sure she is deported and never returns. Author Cindy Fazzi is a fresh voice who captured me from page 1, and Domingo is a character who I really enjoyed. So happy there is a Book 2 coming and hopefully more in the future. How good is this book?? 5*****
