As an avid Disney fan, this book was wonderful. Love the former cast member insight and will definitely being paying more attention while in line. Great book for Disney fans new and old. My daughter is going to love this!!!!! Can't wait to share with her.

Such a fun book about the ins and outs of Magic Kingdom at Disney World!

I worked at Disney back in 2011, so this book was full of nostalgia for me! I knew some of the facts the author included, but a lot of it i had no idea! It made me want to go back and explore what I didn't get to experience the first time around.

Disney fans will recognize the author from her social media presence as a Disney poster. The book covers history of Magic Kingdom, how to navigate and manage your park day, and fun facts. I wish it did incorporate pictures throughout. As a Disney fan, I didn't think I would find much that I didn't already know. A blend of info for new and experienced Disney fans.

A very helpful guide for those of us planning on going to Disney"s Magic Kingdom -- I went there last December and hope to go back this year so in my mind could visualize the places the authors were talking about. Written by a former cast member (Disney lingo for employee) - it is chock full of great insights and tips on what to do and where to eat. I appreciated the practical and concise descriptions and will definitely refer to this on my next trip to Disney. A great guide overall.

I really enjoyed this book! I have not been to Disneyland but I am hoping to go soon. I learned a lot of the park thanks to this book. Some tips I already knew because of tik tok but it’s so funny to find out that it’s from the author’s tik tok. I had saved this hacks from 2021. I’m glad the author compiled all them into this book, now it’s easy to find for anyone planning to go. The cover and illustrations are perfect and adorable, it has the perfect vibe for Disney. Almost like they made it themselves!

I Love Disney’s Magic Kingdom by Danielle Kelly is a great book written by a former cast member. It includes all the things that come in a normal travel guide and so much more. The book is broken up into sections that coincide with the different lands. There are so many things listed to look for and pay attention to while standing in line. I also loved the breakdown of the food. Can’t wait to try the trivia on our next trip to Disney.

Whilst I appreciate Disney, I wouldn’t say I’m a ‘Disney adult.’ Nevertheless, I’ve visited Disney World and was intrigued by what Kelly had to say about the brand. I found this very charming. Carefully curated to be part Lonely Planet, part historiography on all things Disney.

Interestingly, with all the terrible (and deserved) criticism that Disney is receiving for their outrageous price hikes. One wonders if Disneyworld will be there in 10 years. They will, of course, but this book could represent a time when we appreciated Disney World for what it was.

It’s not related, but when I went to Disney World in September, I had to leave Disney World because of Mickey’s Halloween party at 6 pm, which upset me (haha). Still, one day, I shall return (hopefully.) This guide shall help me bridge all the secrets of the hallowed theme park.

I'm a fan of the iconic park and also of the layout of this book! Divided into sections dedicated to each land, it's easy to find tips on attractions, food, shows, photo ops and more. The guide includes specialized tips such as "Extra Magic" and "Park Pointers." Discover the history of dole whip, a storied tree in The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh attraction, and the maximum speed of Space Mountain. (It's not as fast as you might think😮) and so much more.

The author's easy breezy enthusiasm, combined with over 9 years experience as a cast member and a wealth of knowledge about all things Magic Kingdom make this a fun and digestible read.

It is by no means an exhaustive guide, but offers an overview that will promote excitement and interesting tidbits for seasoned or new vistors including a cute map, trivia and quizzes, making this a great little book to bring for a day at the park or to enjoy just out of the love of the Magic Kingdom.

This book was a lot of fun to read! It was very thorough with all of the attractions and stops for food in magic Kingdom. I liked reading the historical tidbits and definitely learned a few things! I read a digital version but I think the print version would be a lot better with the trivia dispersed throughout the book.

I’m a huge Disney fan, and this book hit the nail on the head. It provided all the essential information for first-time park visitors, as well as more insights for seasoned park goers. I particularly enjoyed the sprinkles of trivia throughout the book. It’s also a great companion to bring to the park, especially during lines, as it allows you to spot the Easter eggs hidden throughout the park. The book covers both the past and present, which I also found interesting. It covers a wide range of food items, from restaurant meals to snacks and seasonal offerings.

Definitely well worth the read by all!

I really do love Disneys Magic Kingdom! I am about to go on my thirteenth visit! I am so glad that I got to read this before going. While I did know some of the amazing facts I also learned so much more! It is so exciting to walk around the park and know some of the story that created this magical place. The book is interactive, full of quizzes to test your knowledge, while also offering a plethora of tips and tricks to have a perfect day at Magic Kingdom! I am lucky enough to visit the parks frequently, and I cannot wait to look up some of these hidden nods to lesser known Disney films and other thoughtful touches I have not noticed before. Additionally, this book has wide appeal - letting those who are just starting their foray into Disney trivia feel welcomed and encouraged to learn more. If you are a big Disney fan you might recognize some of the fun facts, but there are plenty more gems of knowledge hidden throughout. This book reads like you are watching the latest video from Danielle full of jokes and positivity. Any Disney fan, new or expert, can find something wonderful in the book! Such a fun read! Danielle uses her Disney knowledge for good in this book, sharing tips, tricks, and trivia for casual Disney fans and Disnerds alike. The information starts on Main Street, U.S.A. and travels clockwise through each land of the park, highlighting rides, attractions, and food spots. Fun trivia questions are interspersed between the history and the info, and there’s plenty to learn no matter how much you already know about this park! This is a truly magical read and will be a great addition to the library of any Disney fan.

Disney’s Magic Kingdom by Danielle Kelly is pure joy from beginning to end. She perfectly captures the wonder, nostalgia, and behind-the-scenes magic that makes Disney so special. Reading it felt like walking down Main Street, USA, all over again — fireworks, Dole Whip, and all.

I loved how Kelly blended history, stories, and little emotional moments. You can tell she truly loves what she’s writing about, and it makes the whole book feel warm and personal. Whether you’re a lifelong Disney fan or just someone who loves a good story, this book is a must-read. It made me smile the whole way through!

This is a great guide for anyone who loves Disney, and especially Magic Kingdom. It's chock full of little-known secrets (Easter eggs, aka hidden Mickeys), fun facts, and Disney history. For example, she explains which horse on the carousel is Cinderella's actual horse, and how to find it.

The author talks about the attractions, the shops and restaurants, the music and smells, Main Street, the different lands, the cast member costumes, and much more. The little trivia questions at the end of each section are so fun. It's like having a really experienced, kind, funny VIP guide in your pocket. I will bring it with me the next time I am there.

Danielle, I know you did not work there, but please write a book like this about Disneyland! We need you! :)
