Both light hearted and heart-pounding, this is a fresh offering in the ever popular thriller genre. The unique setting of a buyers market is so relatable. The book is scary without being gory.

I went into this one really wanting to like it. Cool cover, great concept, sounded a bit like Yellowface or some other dark, satirical novels. But I just couldn't get behind the level of offensiveness of the main character. I know it is not a reflection of the author's personal beliefs, but my goodness it was tough to read and not feel guilty about some of the things she was saying.
