I received an ARC of this novel from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
A writer reminiscing on her past while navigating her future has a complicated relationship with a much older man.

Another imaginative, linguistically experimental novel from Claire-Louise Bennett centered around a relationship the narrator has with a much older man, as well as her moving away. Like Checkout 19, a lot of what I loved here was the inventiveness of the presentation: the narrative mode changes frequently and without explanation, and yet it all feels "authentic" (for lack of a better word) and cohesive. If you like her work you will like this.
