Ruby and Cordelia are back! This is booked two and it definitely held my attention just like the first book. Everything you loved about Ruby and Cordelia‘s friendship is still there. Cordelia still adjusting to life after no longer breathing will be. Ruby is trying to help Cordelia as much as she can. Ruby ends up finding a dead body at work, which happens to be Cordelia‘s old job. This institute into trying to solve the murder while also trying to figure out what really happened to Cordelia. I love their back-and-forth. Cannot wait for this book to be released on October 21.

Kindle Copy for Review from NetGalley, St. Martin's Press and Minotaur Books.

I received a free, advance copy of this book and this is my unbiased and voluntary review.

Body found in a bathroom s not a ood omen on a job. Things are not what it seems as things get interesting for the crew. It is a fast paced that moves along at a steady pace.

I basically inhaled A New Lease On Death last year (it was a delightful surprise) so I was pretty quick to download Death At The Door because I was just in the mood for another lighthearted cozy mystery.

Ruby and Cordelia are back to solving murders when a dead body is found in the bathroom of Ruby’s work. The police and her coworkers seem to think it was an overdose, but they’re not convinced and have to investigate on their own.

This time around, you get to dive more into Cordelia’s life and family, and also the coworkers at the office job Ruby took over that used to be Cordelia’s. Ruby and Cordelia are the most fun unlikely couple of friends, and even though they can’t communicate in any conventional way, their back & forth is so entertaining. If you loved book one, definitely pick this one up too!
