Well...well...well.. someone took what's mine is yours a little too literally.

This story is told from the perspective of two estranged friends, and honestly the more I read and learned, good riddance! I've heard the phrase " with friends like that who need enemies" and that's exactly the vibes I got from these two.

The story is riddled with secrets, some bigger and worse than others for sure. And I will admit I didn't see some of the revelations coming at all!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review .

I really enjoyed this book. What Mine Is Yours had me hooked from the very beginning. It was well-written and kept me interested all the way through.

There were several twists I didn’t see coming, which kept me on the edge of my seat. The story had just the right mix of emotion and suspense, and the characters felt real and relatable.

This book is definitely worth the read! 5/5 stars!

This was a little underwhelming for me. I enjoyed some parts while others just didn't work for me. It was still a fun story just not my favorite.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I picked it up, couldn’t get into it, picked it up a third time and pushed through. I don’t want to say I didn’t enjoy this book because the surprise twist at the end was quite good, but I rolled my eyes a lot, especially about Ava keeping that huge secret from her daughter that to me couldn’t understand for the life of me why. Even though it took me awhile to get through this book, overall it’s a solid read and entertaining.

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for this copy.

A gripping domestic thriller with sharp psychological insight and a house-swap twist that keeps you guessing. Perfect for fans of layered, secret-driven suspense—though it demands patience through a slow burn opening.

What's Mine is Yours was a pretty good read. This is a suspenseful psychological thriller. I enjoyed the storyline and the twists. I think this was a fast paced easy to read book for me. I was able to put it down and pick it back up with ease, but I had to know what was going to happen so I finished it all in one day lol.. If you enjoy psychological thrillers that are easy to read then this is for you!

Leah Mercer’s What's Mine Is Yours is a chilling psychological thriller that explores the fragile boundaries between friendship, trust, and betrayal. When Emily reenters her estranged friend Ava’s life under the guise of helping her daughter feel safe, a simple house-swap spirals into a suspenseful unraveling of dark secrets and long-buried lies.

Told through alternating perspectives, the novel keeps readers guessing as both women conceal truths that could destroy their lives. Emily’s seemingly generous offer masks ulterior motives, while Ava’s perfect façade hides a disturbing past. As tension builds, Mercer masterfully teases out the suspense, leading to a final twist that will leave readers reeling.

Gripping and compulsively readable, What's Mine Is Yours is a twisty tale of friendship turned toxic. Fans of domestic thrillers and unreliable narrators will be hooked from the first page to the shocking finale.

A story of two women, no longer close friends, but both carrying secrets and guilt. What lengths will Emily go to in order to get back into Ava's life? Anc why does she want to so badly? Gradually getting more creepy as we see just how unbalanced and dangerous Emily really is.

Emily and Ava stopped being friends for a reason, but now circumstances have allowed Emily back into Ava's life to her detriment. Ava is concerned about the house swap, instigated at the insistence of her own daughter, which will allow Emily access to her house, compromising her privacy. And of course, Emily has her own agenda.

But it is difficult to know at the outset what the dynamics really are here. Because both these women have secrets, but only one is in danger. Thanks to the twists and turns of this story though, you may have difficulty figuring out which one that is!

The pacing could be better, but overall, Leah Mercer has delivered an entertaining story. It gets 3. 5 stars.

This book gave off vibes from that movie “Single White Female” but in a slightly different way. Mercer created such suspense throughout the entire book. It was easy to tell that Emily was a little off, but I had no clue the extent that she was going to go to get what she wanted! She was holding on to so many secrets and lied so much, it was hard to like her or feel bad for her and her circumstances.

It was the complete opposite for Ava. She had a secret of her own, but it was a heartbreaking one. One that, when I learned what it was, I let out a gasp. I felt awful for her. Then the twist at the end which changed my perspective of the whole situation – just WOW!!! I know I’m being really vague, and that’s because as always, my reviews are spoiler free.

The book is told in varying point of views and Mercer does that exceptionally well in this book. There are not too many points of view so you don’t get confused. Each character has a distinct voice, which really helps. I really loved the kids, Sophie (Emily’s daughter) and Lexi (Ava’s daughter). I enjoyed reading about them gaining their voices and becoming more comfortable with their wants, needs, and relationships with their parents, whether it was good or bad.

There are some really great twists in this book, some shocking twists. The ending is fantastic, and I cannot wait to read more by this author!
