WHOA!!!! What a ride!!! This book was excellent!! I couldn’t put it down. Just when I thought I had it figured out a new twist was thrown in. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Right away my mind was ruminating on why Ava felt the need to stay boxes up in her house and isolate herself from her husband, obsessing over her daughter. I also wondered why Emily was clingy and desperate to get back into Ava’s life.
Mercer made me wait for the stories to unfurl and I was astonished at one of the character’s duplicitous nature. I thought that person couldn’t stoop any lower until a revelation is revealed that left me cold.
It’s a great thriller and a reminder that we can’t shut out the past nor try to atone for sins by correcting a current wrong.

Name :- What's Mine Is Yours
Author:- Leah Mercer
Genre:- Psychological Thriller
In What’s Mine Is Yours, Leah Mercer masterfully spins a suspenseful web of psychological tension and twisted loyalty. What begins as a thoughtful gesture—a house swap between two old friends—quickly spirals into a disturbing game of manipulation, mistrust, and dark secrets. Emily sees her offer to swap homes as a chance to reconnect with her estranged best friend Ava. But once inside Ava’s seemingly perfect life, Emily realizes things aren’t as idyllic as they appear. The house holds secrets, and Ava’s carefully curated facade begins to crack. Meanwhile, Ava, trapped in Emily’s modest apartment, becomes increasingly paranoid. What is Emily really doing in her home? Does she know about the locked room—the one that hides a truth Ava thought she'd buried forever? Mercer crafts both characters with layered complexity. Emily is driven by unresolved resentment, while Ava is haunted by guilt and fear. Their inner thoughts unravel the narrative with mounting dread, leading to a shocking climax that challenges everything the reader thinks they know.

My Rating :- 5/5.

I enjoyed this thriller. I thought the premise and storyline were unique and interesting. I liked the authors style of writing. I have not read from this author previously, so I will definitely have her on my radar from now on. I thought this was a great thriller that reads fast and can be read pretty quickly.

Two families, both with secrets, are the main characters in this story. As their lives start to unravel, the truth is revealed and will change the trajectory for both families. This was a slow-paced domestic thriller with a couple of twists. It dragged at times, but was an overall good read.

Thanks to #NetGalley and #Bookouture for the book #WhatsMineIsYours by #LeahMercer. This book is such a wild ride and I never saw the ending twist coming. Emily and Ava used to be best friends and they had daughters the same age. Both women have big secrets. Emily is adamant to get back into Ava’s life that she is willing to do anything. She is obsessed. Can one of them reveal their secret before it’s too late?

What's Mine Is Yours gripped me from the very first page. Right away, I knew there was something different about it - it’s a domestic thriller, yes, but with such raw emotional layers and a storyline that felt so real. I was exhausted and desperate for sleep, but I simply could not put it down until I reached the final page and learned how everything would unfold.
I didn’t guess the ending, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t. The slow uncovering of the truth is heartbreaking in all the right ways. I found myself truly empathising with Ava and her daughter, Lexi.
At first, Lexi seems like yet another spoilt, moody youngster - but as the story progresses, you realise she’s just an eleven-year-old trying to make sense of a world full of adult secrets and complicated love. She just wants to be loved. What she doesn’t yet understand is that her mother does love her - maybe even too much - and Ava’s desperate need to protect her is what drives so much of this story’s emotional tension.
The relationship between Ava and Emily is fascinating to unravel. It’s hard to know who to trust at first - who’s telling the truth, and who’s hiding something darker. The idea of swapping homes is such a clever setup, creating an instant unease as Ava’s carefully protected world is invaded. There are so many small, subtle hints along the way, but it all leads to a conclusion that hit me far harder than I was expecting.
Leah Mercer’s writing is sharp and insightful. The way she builds character is so natural—you feel like you know these people, like you’ve heard whispers of their lives somewhere before. And that’s what makes the emotional fallout so impactful. It doesn’t feel like a story, it feels like something that could happen to someone just like you.
What’s Mine is Yours is a beautifully written, deeply emotional thriller that manages to be both tense and touching. It’s not just about lies and secrets, it’s about love, guilt, motherhood, and the things we try to hide in the name of protection. An absolute standout read that I won’t forget.

This book was full of unexpected twists that kept me hooked from start to finish. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, the plot takes another surprising turn. I really enjoy Leah Mercer’s writing style and the way she unfolds a story in such an unpredictable way. The multiple viewpoints added real depth to the suspense, making the twists even more impactful. It had me reading late into the night. I couldn’t put it down. If you’re after a tension-filled rollercoaster of a read, this one’s definitely for you. I will definitely be recommending this to all my thriller book lovers. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this great book.

This took me a while to get into but once I did I really enjoyed it, I think the pacing could have been faster in places but that is just a personal preference. It kept me guessing and the level of suspense was good.

My thanks to Bookouture and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read ‘What’s Mine Is Yours’ written by Leah Mercer in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
Following a burglary that takes place at the house of Ava’s neighbour, her daughter Lexi is so upset she can’t sleep. Emily considered herself a friend until Ava stopped speaking to her and in an attempt to restart the friendship offers to swap her cramped one-bedroom flat for Ava’s five-bedroomed house in a nicer area. Ava grudgingly agrees but suspects that Emily will search through her belongings and is worried that the secret she’s been keeping all these years will be uncovered.
‘What’s Mine Is Yours’ is told through the eyes of Emily, Ava and her daughter Lexi, and despite a few twists and turns I found it so slow I was tempted to give up halfway through. I’m glad I didn’t as the characters were perfectly described and the story improved the further I read but although there was a big twist in the last chapters it wasn’t that much of a surprise as I’d already predicted it. This is the eighth novel I’ve read by Leah Mercer so I’m disappointed I didn’t like it more, but I’ll still look forward to reading more by her in the future.

A tense and fast-paced domestic thriller. The plot and character development provide enough freshness to maintain interest throughout.
Thank you to the publisher/author for the opportunity to read this complimentary advanced copy. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

This was a fast , page turning thriller. I didn’t love the main character at first, but she won me over by the end. The villain was pure evil, but got what she deserved in the end. Bonus points for writing kids who actually felt real The ending Was satisfying, and the twist was although not surprising was. A good wrap up to book !

3*
I found this read slow in a lot of places, there was some good twists at the end though and I was not expecting them! I’d recommend it still even though I have it 3*, other people I know have read it and really enjoyed it, so I would recommend it. I also would read more by this author

My honest review: I could not put this book down! This book is based off of two friends, Ava and Emily, who have become distant over time. When a burglary next door happens, a house swap is suggested. However, secrets and jealousy stand to tear these friends even further apart. Is Ava's life as perfect as she portrays? What dark secrets could Ava be hiding? What secret's does Emily hold? These are the questions that kept me guessing throughout the read and answers I had to find out.
This was a mentally and emotionally engaging thriller for me and kept me hooked. Highly recommend this book.
Thank you NetGalley for this eARC!

What’s Mine Is Yours is a gripping and well-paced read that kept me engaged from start to finish. The storyline is compelling, with just the right amount of action to keep things exciting without veering into overly graphic territory. The characters are well-drawn, and the tension builds steadily in a way that makes it hard to put down. It’s a satisfying mix of drama, suspense, and emotional depth. A strong 4-star read that strikes a great balance between intensity and accessibility.

I have always enjoyed Leah Mercer’s books and looked forward to reading What’s Mine is Yours. The story is written from three viewpoints – Mother Ava, daughter Lexi and former best friend to Ava, Emily.
A bit of a slow starter, this one, but it soon picked up and I became involved in the plot and its many twists and turns. Characterisation through the three voices was excellent, and the story kept me on the edge of my seat. The twist at the end was unexpected. More please!
A thoroughly addictive read and recommended.
My thanks to Bookouture, the author and Netgalley for an ARC of What’s Mine is Yours in exchange for an honest review.

I feel like this book has a very good premise, there’s a lot of on the edge of your seat trying to figure out what was happening. Although this book kept my attention I feel like it was predicable and fell just a little flat for me
I recommend as a quick read though! I’m

Loved this book! I found it a little slow at the start but once I hit 20% was invested.
Great characters, Loved Lexi.
Thanks Netgalley and Bookouture for letting me read this book for an honest review.

The secrets were heavy between distant friends at one point pulled together close by pregnancy. I liked this. It had the twists & turns you'd want in a thriller. Engaging and a surprising end. It's absolutely worth a read ! Makes you think twice about things 👀 Thankyou mentally & the author for this Arc in exchange for an honest review! :)

What a twisty tale this was! Ava and Emily, who used to be best friends, swap homes when a house near Ava had a break in. This was a great solution for Ava whose daughter was scared and didn’t want to stay home. Emily jumped at the chance to help Ava in order to try and rekindle their friendship. This was a quick read for me since I would stay up a bit too late trying to finish. The characters have tons of secrets, which are slowly revealed throughout chapters written from different character perspectives. Loved the flow of the book and the twists! Thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture for allowing me to read this ARC.
